After students pass the Y2 test do they go on summer vacation, or is that strictly in OUR summertime?

Pach: Just poke and tell them what you'd like to be doing, so we can help get you placed and smooth the process ~ if you're uncomfortable doing so, poke an admin.

Ice Queen: they have the option of going on a break after their major exams. it's not mandatory, and school is open year-round. Often students are enrolled in large batches, but since every creature goes at their own pace, there isn't a set school--->break--->back to school type schedule.

Question regarding hunters. l D For their weapons; are they allowed to carry other weapons aside from the one that is powered up/monster based? Such as a longsword/dagger, ect? Just to have on them? /was curious/ l D

I would say yes to dagger, but a long sword would be too large and in the way. Keep in mind, these weapons have no effect on TiHers ~ so they'd be more like ~ tools and survival gear for killing random snakes in the jungle or trying to fend off piranhas.

When you say normal weapons would have no effect on TiHers, what does that mean exactly? Do they just phase through them or something? Even if they aren't ghosts/undead?
PostPosted: Wed Oct 26, 2011 1:09 am
Not so much like ghosts, and I stated that...wrongly

~ it's more like the damage mundane weapons do is very limited and heals over within minutes in a normal situation where a TiHer has access to human world FEAR.

but still no to unpowered long swords ~ largest approved sub weapon is a machete, as they're useful in certain areas

Question: If a character changes using a natural ability that not only changes form but gender, and they will have two forms that have two genders, does the pin that suppresses that form also allow them to have both genders - meaning 2 genders depending?
PostPosted: Wed Oct 26, 2011 4:24 pm
The pin keeps people who don't have a shifting natural ability locked down into an appropriate form where necessary, it also keeps those with a shapeshifting natural ability in a suitable form for halls and classes.

If gender shifting in humanoid form is part of their listed and approved natural ability, then they can do so at will, as having a different gender does not ruin floors and destroy classrooms.

Just to get this down, if they have a natural ability that shifts them into another form (non-humanoid) and a different gender, they would still need an approved natural ability for HUMANOID gender shifting?
PostPosted: Wed Oct 26, 2011 6:03 pm
yeah ~ the pin doesn't enable anything extra

Considering Amityville is a high school, are there middle/secondary schools? Elementary schools?

Battle question about the barrier:

When it says negates all damage post-cast turn, would that mean the next effective attack the opponent makes or will it go down as usual if the opponent fails to attack?

It will go down even if the opponent fails to attack~ the barrier is a one-shot "just in case" move. If timed right, it'll block the attack.

Otherwise I fear the mechanics for it will get too confusing/become too OP otherwise.
