If I was to make a tutorial for the guild, what should it be on?
  Female anatomy
  Male anatomy
  Painting hair
Painting the face (specifics on eyes, lips, noses)
Painting walkthrough (how I do a painting, from start to finish)
  Landscapes XD yeeeah.......
Something else (please tell me what?)
Don't care, I don't use the tutorials forum anyway

lovely art

Orielle
Only 3-4 of the pieces can be drawings as well, so I have to thin of other things.. I was thinking of at least making one piece with acrylics, one watercolours, one digital, one or two mixed media... But other than that I don't know. So if you have any ideas about cool things I could make, I'd love you forever..

To begin, I'm only assuming the school will love you even more if you have a wide range of different types of arts.

Try out a portrait in pencil, that seems to be rather popular.
Show what you can do for still lifes.
Do a type of landscape, possibly mixed media.
You can make an attempt at doing an animal, maybe a large cat or something for acrylics.
Try some charcoal work too.

Try to find a mix of different things to do.
Still Lifes, Landscapes, Portraits (People), animals, Buildings perhaps? Something to do with commotion, like a busy street with a lot of people crossing the street, Think New York.
Something I'd love to see, a Full Body Portrait of a friend or family member posed somewhere in town. Try to capture some emotion if you decide to do people. Happiness, sadness, anger.

Remember, if need be, don't be afraid to use a camera to capture perfect moments to draw.

Other than that, good luck.

I'm glad you did well on your math test, Swee! And good luck on all your projects! I always used tp hate it when teachers would set the deadline for several different big projects in the same week. But then again, I always did everything last minute, so I suppose I should blame myself.. xp

Thank you, Dark Soul! 3nodding heart

Thanks for the tips, Alec. I really appreciate that! heart
This is more or less what I was planning to do..

1. Pencil: portrait (of my little sister or something XP )
2. Pencil: still life
3. Pencil: buildings (I didn't think of this before you said it, but it's a great idea.. It will definetely help with making it all more varied..)
4. Watercolours: landscape
5. Mixed media: abstract/surreal (can't decide, maybe I'll just do two..)
6. Acrylics: no idea eek
7. Digital painting: dunno..
8.
9.
10.

I was planning to phone the school on monday to hear if I'm allowed to use scuptures and installations as well. If so, I might make a mask or something..

OooOOoo I don't know much about art (my art teacher just teaches us about the pastels, pencil crayons, etc) but you should do two mixed media, abstract and surreal.

Haha yeah, hooray for procrastination!!!!
I'm almost done the big project in Socials, I have 6 pages done and written, so I'll type it up double spaced like we're supposed to and it should come you to atleast 8 pages.
And the novel study project I'll just type and talk about the book and a bit of info on the author and make a nice big poster for the visual aid.
Ughh I don't even know how to do the science project so I'll figure that out later and I'll look for some books on health and nutrition for the health project. xD

Mixed media should be fun. 3nodding I found this incredible mixed media artist on DA a couple of days ago, so now I have loads of inspiration to start using new materials and stuff in my paintings.

Looks like you won't have a problem with those projects after all, Swee! biggrin

Mm, I love sculptures to.. Haven't done anything in ages though. I would really really like to learn how to work with metal as well! I regularly drool over the work of the jewelry artists at DA..

I haven't posted a single drawing in several pages, have I? sweatdrop For the sake of changing that (and showing off of course), here's a chibi comission I did some time ago..

Your avatar is really cool.. But I sort of had to stop taking requests for a while.. sweatdrop I would gladly sit here and scribble down drawings for people for free all day, but I have a portfolio I have to put together within the next few days. sweatdrop Hopefully I'll be able to start again next week though! whee

Oh I wish i could make a sculpture, it'd be so fun. But if you did make a sclpture, Orielle, what would it be of?

And honestly I'm just too lazy to do the work, I'd prolly have it all done by now, but I'm just a lazy bum. xD
