I got home and I was like..."ohmigawd that did not just happen"

Damnit...I lost a temporary crown...
Alls I was doing was eating dinner, when I bit down and a sharp pain shot through my jaw. I felt around where it was, and noticed that one of my temporary crowns was gone, and I didn't feel it in my mouth, so I think I may have swallowed it by mistake. Not to bad, though, given the stuff is non toxic and whatnot. However, I don't think I'll be able to get to a dentist until Monday to get it replaced. Until then, I have to be very careful about what I eat and keep really hot things and really cold things away from that tooth, which I know will be nearly impossible X_X

Apologies to anyone who I may have offended or offend. It seems as though since I expressed my own opinion about something that I disagreed upon, I have been somewhat distanced from quite a few people. While maybe....three or four people still actually talk to me. I think it is rather cruel fate that someone be pushed to the side for not agreeing with someone, while the other person is hailed for also having opposing opinions. Is it not a right as mature adults to be able to explain your dislike of something without being persecuted and turned away? That is what mature discussion is for. No one should grow angry over the fact that someone doesn't like what they like. It's a matter of opinions and taste. If everyone liked the same thing, then we wouldn't be human, now would we?
And this is rather old, but Shoki, the reason I was angry at that person for calling my art porn is because she was a "friend" of mine that I had put up with for a long time and lost her temper for no reason other than to be spiteful. The second person is someone who bashes ANYONE that tries to help out her artwork. She also prides herself as a professional artist when her work is mediocre at best. I find egotism to be annoying and rather offensive at times. If you saw the girl's artwork, you would probably agree with me. Unless you're one of those people who prefer to lie to others and tell them it's beautiful when it really needs alot of improvement.
My statements are not hypocritical since I actually seek help from professional artists I know, and from freelance artists who have more skill than I do. I do seek improvement and I often see my own work as being poorly done. There is no such thing as an artist who doesn't need to improve. All artists have things they need to practice, whether it is anatomy, shading, style, or anything. I also lack hypocrisy in that I've never gotten angry over someone saying they dislike something that I like. I just move on with my life. I don't see it as a reason to grow angry.
This post got much longer than I thought it would be. xD

While the arguments haven't affected me, I'm going ot respond to your post Leyla since the reason for the conflict seems rather simple to me. It has nothing to do with what your opinion is, but the way you gave your opinion. In a rude manner, you belittled someone who came in to post a problem they where having. This is a venting thread where yes, you can give opinions on stuff, but it should be done in a supportive way. Kind of like you don't go up to people and say their art sucks, with no useful information at all. You also seem to hate being disagreed with just as much with the next person.
It seems like you handled your giving out of opinions very similar in the sexy art thread. Someone posted something they found sexy and instead of merely stateing it wasn't to your taste or ignoring it, you basicly said they must have horrible taste in art to find that piece nice in any fashion.
Sure, cynical remarks and quirk statements might be fine to throw out at random strangers, but friends deserve a little more consideration, especially when they come to a venting thread looking for support.
The true test of being mature is what you don't say, not what you do.
I really don't think many people are avoiding you though, I know I'm not at least. You haven't been around lately it seems. I hope the fact you posted such a long post means your tummy is feeling better though?

To avoid futher arguments, I will only comment on your statement that people are being distant to you now. Well, you've only been back in here for a day. Either people weren't on, or that was just a busy day or something. I know it was for me. ::shrug::

WHAT THE ********, so the upstairs bathroom sink has a leak. We hire a plumber to fix it. I've been running around the house, catching cats so that they don't get loose while he's here. He's about 30ish, latino, a bit stocky and his name is Joe.
Joe is flirting with me. And I'm all in my ugly t-shirt which is covered in dust and dirt, and my narky jeans with my unbrushed unwashed hair. And he's flirting with me.
Trying to get me to sign the papers, and he asks, "You are eighteen or older, right?" I'm all, "Yes! Of course." And so I get to signing, thinking nothing of what just happened since it's necessary. Randomly, he asks, "So you're in highschool or finishing up highschool?" I shrug, "Neither, I'm in college." I don't know how it came to this conclusion, but he grinned and said, "So smart AND cute, huh?"
I was red and stuttering. You know, I know sometimes women like to be flirted with so we feel better about our image. But I look like CRAP today and he was flirting with me. That just makes me wonder about his eyesight..

I hope the fact you posted such a long post means your tummy is feeling better though? I didn't mean to appear rude. I have a blunt way of saying things. I never tried to outright insult someone, I just have troubles with explaining things in a more friendly manner that most people are accustomed to. I am downright blunt about things. About the manner in the sexy furs thread, I did explain what I disliked about it and never said she had horrible tastes. The anatomy flaws were just too obvious to my eyes and I expressed what I saw wrong with it and how I didn't find it sexy. It was never meant to be an insult to anyone's tastes. And yes, I'm feeling much better. 3nodding

I guess it just shows that you're attractive even when you think you look like crap? sweatdrop

Kinda reminds me of the 50-60 some year old guy that was hitting on a 15 year old employee when I worked at the restaurant. That was just...ew. gonk

F***ing hell....
Can't my mother make up her bloody mind up.
First she yells at me for not unpacking a dishwasher and bringing in the bins(She didn't ask me to do these things.... and my mind doesn't remember what chores I have to do very well) and then gets pissed off when I don't reply to her when she mentions that she cleaned off the table. When my father comes up he asked me for a drink without yelling at me, I do it because it's relativally simple and won't take too long, my mother gets pissed off even more because I do it without complaint. Then she yells at my father for being close to where I'm going to be doing my engineering drawings. Then yells at me again for not moving my drawings because she 'fears' I'll get angry at my father if he knocks over his drink.
Anyway..... getting fairly peeved at her.
EDIT: 4 words that should give anyone a headache. 3 Dimensional Mental Rotation.
EDIT2: Oh good.... turns out the drawings I wanted to do... wouldn't fit on my A3 sheet. Same with this drawing but I got fed up and drew it anyway
But the best thing..... my opinion or thoughts aren't valued at home.... is it any wonder why I want to get out.... my sister has to write up PHP and I'm suggesting I borrow a book from my uni's library... except she won't listen to me.... just like the rest. I can't wait until uni tomorrow.... I'll be happier then. Still stressed out though.
