No, he gets a normal digimon from Tanemon's list of possible digivolutions. Since it's an un-expected, he can't get a digimon from the digimon's normal line.

According to DMA, it doesn't have a normal de-digivolution, so I'm pretty sure that you can't de-digivolve it.
