Ahhhhh but one could say to be a goth these days is mediocre. Lol, the subculture needs to rennovate itself more often xd
Exactly, any culture, where there is a cookie cutter archetype, is mediocre. Meaning the only true alternative culture is Hardcore Punk, because they dress how they want and don't give a damn about how you look.

Jadyn_Fortysix This is why I carry a blade. Gods. Sometimes I think that nothing will ever surprise me again, but there's really no getting used to hearing about things like this. We need to all buy airline tickets and flood that town with Goths. that sounds like a plan. I can hold my own in a crowd should the occasion arise black-belt, bitches along with my blade i wear a multi-functioning chain, I mean necklace, as well.
@Draco Vampir >see also, krav-maga or haganah
Jadyn_Fortysix ...take a martial art or self defense course whenever you can, as well as carry around a personal safety device like mace or sharp keys, things that won't get you arrested... >Kubaton, preferably one without the side-spikes.

Long hair, suicidal tendancies tee, 3/4 lengths, boots.
Short spiked hair, black tee with slogan, normal jeans, trainers.
Skinhead, basket ball jersey, combats, boots.
Short curly hair, studded jacket with no sleeves, baggies, trainers, cap.
Those are just a few of the hardcore punks I know. Their might be a stereotype, but by no means is their a specific cookie cutter pattern that unites them all in some similar way, unlike with say Goth or Emo or Metal, which all have aspects that hold true for every sub-section of the culture.

Rellik San Synyster-Reaper Rellik San Hosoi-Chan_Angel Rellik San Actually your mum has a point, yes you have a right to be different, but you should use common sense, I'm not saying wear trackies and walk around in a pack of 10 mugging people, but just don't wear your culture so much on your sleeve, unless you have cause too, like if your going to wear your new rocks, just wear jeans, a tee and your jacket, if your walking around and wearing your culture on your sleeve all the time, especially if your a guy with long hair then to be honest, you should know what to expect and I have no sympathy for you, because your being an idiot. First of all, ur just as mean as my mum. Second, goths r NOT idiots. Third, what the heck do you mean by wearing your culture on on your sleeve? And why is saying your mum has a point mean? All I said is that you should know what to expect if your going to be so completely brazen about what you wear. Why should we expect to be treated that way? Because the average human is small minded and intolerant.
Good Point
