The Coming Darkness (open and looking for new members)

Atasin yawned as he awoke from another night of restless sleep. Having not slept well, he struggles to his feet and looks around. The clearing was deserted, the way he liked it. He walked over to the stream and washed his face, cleaning the dirt from his travels. After a drink, he set to making a fire, which took no time at all. Sitting in front of the fire, he wondered again how this started. He laid back in the cool grass, wet with morning dew and looked into the trees above him. Life takes some odd twists and turns, he thought, remembering how only a year previous he had been safe in his home. He nearly drifted off again, the smoke and warmth making him sleepy. Deciding it would be best to get some food, he looked over to his pack. Getting up, he crossed the clearing and opened it. He ate a few dried berries and nuts, then carried the pack over to the fire. He laid back again, wondering what next...

Everything was happening far too quickly for the young witch to keep up with. Her shield spell was holding strong, and she was now clutching her staff fiercely. One of the dragon's had disappeared and the winged angels were dying off. Only one remained in battle. Early she had chanted a small charm that would amplify her attacks. Whenever one of the vile undead came near, she swung her staff at their heads.

Now she was tiring of these actions and trying to think of a way to escape. The others seemed to be holding their own though she felt guilty for even contemplating leaving any of them especially Tramer. The larger dragon was the only one she had really spoken to, and before meeting him she never knew that dragons really existed. Shaking her head in frustration she yelled over the sounds of battle, "We have to get out of here. There are too many of them."

 

[Tramer]

((sorry for the long gap in posting…I have just been a bit overwhelmed with life…lol))


Jumping into the hoard of undead Tramer plowed his way through, using his tail for enemies behind and his claws and teeth for enemies in front Tramer tore through there numbers, thou all in vain for every undead that was killed two more took its place. Seeing there was chance of this small group defeating such vast numbers Tramer slowly started to push his way forward toward the edge of the forest as he fought through the mass of undead, he only hoped the others would be smart enough to fallow suit…  

[Rarkul]

Rarkul heard someone through the sounds of war. The person spoke the truth, although he hated to admit it there were too many of them. He watched as the Shadow Dragon smashed his way through the creatures and kept going. He hacked the undead around him but it didn't do any good they formed a ring around him they all grabbed him and started pulling at his limbs and his hair. He managed to mutter a spell. His body faded away into a thin black smoke he'd aimed to be next to dragon and run along side him. Smoke swirled on top of the dragon before Rarkul appeared standing upon his back. "Ah.....Sorry."

Whacking at yet another undead thing, Aliana was really beginning to tire. To her right she saw something rather large maul over the bulk of the group's attackers. It was Tramer. The young witch dodged through the madness and followed the dragon's lead. Surely he meant to leave this chaos.

Metra stuck down an other undead. At first he thought that the mass of undead could be stopped. But at this point he wasn't so confidant. He had already cut through at least thirty but even as he destroyed one more came to replace it. Eventually the undead started to flank Metra. When he saw the black dragon start to plow through the mass of undead, he realized that it was probably the only way to get out of this mess. Metra extended his wings and with one flap of his wings propelled himself into the tree branches. Landing on a sturdy branch Metra began to jump from one branch to another until he was close to the others. He then jumped down from the branches and followed in the path the dragon was making.

not to far in the woods from where the group was fighting zombies lay a snow white,velvetty soft diamond hard egg. slowly it wiggles once then twice.then a loude crack that rings through the woods can be heard as a baby dragon brakes out of her egg.she wiggles and pushes on the crack and it grows bigger then she pushes some more and with that last big push she comes tumbling out of her egg a wet furry little ball of fluff with bird like wings. she gets up stumbles and sits down to lick her self clean. once clean she looked more like a white three tailed baby wolf with wings then she did a dragon.the only things that marked her as a dragon was her dragon like eyes and her egg horn that she decided to keep.feeling hungry she wandered off in search of food. as she searched she could hear fighting so she went twords the sound thinking maybe there could be food found there. the sound got louder and louder as she followed it soon she was in the middle of a big battle nose to paw with a masive black dragon. "EEEP!!" she squeeked as he almost steped on her in his attempt to make a path through the zombies.
