Tenchikaimei All of you here are Muslim, right? 'Cuz I have a question.
Do you think that the Israelis stole the land known as Israel/Palestine? And if so, why?
I mean, the religion of Islam is relatively new, being made by Mohamed. Before they had the land, it was owned by the Ottoman Empire, the Turks, the Babylonians, the Greeks, and the Romans. Before that, the Israelis had it for a while before them, conquering it from the Canaanites.
Now, of all those I mentioned who "owned" or "conquered" the land after or before the Israelis, not including the Muslims, have perished or faded from history.
I don't know about you, but I'd think if the civilization before you doesn't exist anymore, their land technically belongs to you, if you conquered it.
And, no, the Canaanites have almost no relation to Arabs, Muslims, or any other religion/race.
I don't want to be confrontational. I just want to see all sides of the picture. i am muslim but i am sorry to say i am not into these kind of things so much but i am searching some one who can answer you.

I'm just curious, but why do you personally believe in Islam? Obviously because you believe it's true. But why do you believe it's true? Is it just what you were taught growing up or something that you have thought out or both?

Casca 7 I'm just curious, but why do you personally believe in Islam? Obviously because you believe it's true. But why do you believe it's true? Is it just what you were taught growing up or something that you have thought out or both? first >> i am sorry for replying late!! second >> i am tassan but for some reason i can't post from that acount!! and in last the question you asked!! first the answere is both!! when a child takes birth ultimately he is said to follow his parents or learn from them! and religion is ALSO a learning process that he does while learning from his family or perhaps society and itself i believe that my religion is true... becuase i relate to perticular religion but if i put my self into a place that has no religion suppose if i was an athiest i won't blieve in a religion for just becuase it says me to believe in it! right? neither i would believe if my parents say to!! will i..!! but for those who are non muslims God gives clues to his presence!! that is you who have to find the clues and follow him!! its you who has to come up "following" with a true religion that has no imaginary god!! i am not saying that Allah is the only true god while others are just imaginary!! not even i am saying that others are true and my Allah is imaginary!! hope so you get your answere by that if not ask me again!! ^_^

Here is what sufi muslims does , and it's kinda a definition for who they are !!
While all Muslims believe that they are on the pathway to God and will become close to God in Paradise — after death and after the "Final Judgment" —believe as well that it is possible to draw closer to God and to more fully embrace the Divine Presence in this life. The chief aim of all Sufis is to seek the pleasure of God by working to restore within themselves the primordial state of fitra , described in the Qur'an and similar to the concept of Buddha nature. In this state nothing one does defies God, and all is undertaken by the single motivation of love of God. A secondary consequence of this is that the seeker may be led to abandon all notions of dualism or multiplicity, including a conception of an individual self, and to realize the Divine Unity.

no that's not true ..
Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was chosen by God to deliver His Message of Peace, namely Islam. He was entrusted with the Message of Islam when he was at the age of forty years. The revelation that he received is called the Qur'an, while the message is called Islam. and the Qur'an is the exact word of Allah.
