Well, since you all brought it up ever so nicely...

1. Snake (If it's a flat stage, mind games galore! If not... crud)
2. Donkey Kong (Just the big brute with a lot of range and more solid hits than Dedede. His style just works very well. I've beat two level nines and a spammy Pit with him alone, so he's really fun)
3. Dependant on Mood (It's Kirby, Dedede, Bowser, or Zero Suit Samus, I know that much)

My top 5 are:

1a) Lucario (increasing attack strength ability due to taking constant damage)
1b) King Dedede (slow & heavy, but has great power)

(Lucario and Dedede are my best fighters so I use both very often, also they're my favorite characters)

2) ROB (he can fly and do stuff; his rocket boosters pack a punch though.)
3) Captain Falcon (FALCON PUNCH!!! What else do I need to tell you? xp )
4) Pit (he flies like a butterfly and stings [from a distance & at close-range] like bee, literally; also he can reflect projectiles)
5) Sonic (umm......he's fast for multi attacks, I guess.)
