He thought for a moment, "Okay, later," he said. He walked out of the museum, wondering if he would be able to get back in after he "left".

She quietly watched him go, before putting the necklace back and resetting all the alarms. She began to walk home, but went by the coffee shop first after quickly changing into civilian clothes.
