Psycho Lee Mind you the person I groped here was someone I've known for a while. I didn't think she'd flip out about it. Women are hard to read. I've had girls on here take just casual cuddling and hugs as a sign that I want to cyber them in PM... I've had a girl I casually flirted with get all cuddly and touchy with me once, and then weeks later get all crazed when I joked about dragging her into a closet for privacy... what, you have no problem humping my leg, but weeks later the idea of doing things in a closet scares you? (I think it's because in between those two times she found out I was 7 years older than her...) Women are so confusing it makes me wish I was gay, because at least most guys are honest about what they want.
Hey, I agree, women are very hard to read and understand. I'm a woman and I even know that. Its hard to tell when exactly a woman is ready for anything, because we tend to send a lot of mixed signals. In an online setting, I'd straight up ask if a girl is into yiffing, so you know what your boundaries are. In real life, you can try asking the same thing, but you might get dirty looks.
I can understand your frustrations, woman sometimes make me wish I was straight.

Selene Aries SunflowerGoddess About con sex... That does not just apply to furries. All conventions are known for promiscuity and anonymous (or semi-anonymous) sex. It is just that most conventions are very "hush hush" about it. Heck, business conventions even have a reputation as places for spouses to cheat and more or less get away with it. Having been to other kinds conventions, this I can contest to being true. Not to mention the stories I hear all over the place from this con or that, none of which are furry. You take a group of sexually repressed nerds, sometimes ones still in their 20's, and sex is going to happen.
Not to mention... at fan conventions of any kind, there's usually plenty of porn being sold and passed around, thus putting a lot of people in a sexual mindset.
Honestly, anime cons can scare me far more than furry cons in that there are 12-year-old girls there screaming about the details in the explicit yaoi manga or doujinshi they just (somehow) got. That can be like a mating call for some of the really creepy people...

Especially at the anime, furry, sci-fi, and other fan conventions where most of the attendees are "sexually repressed nerds" with few social graces and limited sexual experience. As a fan living in Southern California, I've noticed that there is more casual sex taking place at anime conventions than furry conventions, reflecting the fact that more anime fans are in their teens while the majority of furries tend to be in their twenties and thirties. Of course, this depends on the demographics of the attendees; for example, in my area the ratio between straight and gay furries is gradually changing in favor of the heterosexuals while the percentage of women to men in the fandom is growing rapidly. On the other hand, in the Bay Area the vast majority of furries are gay, and this percentage probably will not change significantly in the future. Since women in furry fandom tend to be in the minority, most women you meet at furry conventions and other such social events will most likely be involved in a relationship, as they are fewer in number and are something of a limited commodity--hence why there appears to be more sexual promiscuity among men in furry fandom than women. It's all a matter of perspective.

This kind of brings me into a rather touchy topic in the furry fandom:
How many furries actually are gay and how many are simply sleeping with men and claiming to be gay due to lack of available females?
I notice this pattern a lot: 1) "I'm new to furry fandom." 2) "I'm straight and have never liked guys in my life." 3) "There doesn't seems to be many girls in the fandom..." 4) "Oh my god! Where are all the girls? I'm so lonely I'm going to kill myself!" 5) "Um... I'm curious about guys. Maybe?" 6) "I'm gay."

Garek Maxwell I find women gross and icky and positively revolting when it comes to sex. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I would probably feel ill and sick to my stomach if I tried to have sex with a woman. I really don't find them attractive at all....Aesthetically, however, they can be lovely...But that's treating a woman as an object of beauty, and generally people don't like that. This would be no different that looking at a couch, poster, or website. Outside of this, they can potentially be nice friends and make good conversation. That's it for me. I'm not bisexual at all...
Same for me. Except change "bisexual" to "gay". X3 I have kissed girl friends before, just out of curiosity, and it did absolutely nothing for me. On the other hand, I love kissing my fiancé-- but I think I'm also biased because of the strong emotional attachment I have to him. ♥
