Jabulani is a team player, she is mostly easy to get along with and doesn’t cause squabbles with her pride-sisters or the ruling males if she can help it. She thinks of the pride first and rarely does anything solely for her own benefit. She is very loyal to her pride and upholds their beliefs firmly. She trusts in the Abaholi and their ability to lead, but if she feels that they are doing something that could harm the pride she will step up and speak her mind.

Jabulani knows a lot of stuff about a lot of stuff, and is more than pleased to share that knowledge. She picked up the habit of remembering random things and useful facts from her mother, who as a former rogue was quite knowledgeable about the world. She is very proud of her vast knowledge and can be overbearing about it. If she is proven to be incorrect about something she gets very snippy, sometimes for hours.

She only ever felt comfortable sharing her problems and fears with her brother and mother. Now that they are both gone, she has taken to keeping everything to herself and putting on a joyful front, which can result the rare angry outburst.

Jabulani had only one sibling, her brother Mthunzi. As twins they were very close and Jabu was very hurt when he had to leave, but didn’t say anything as that was the way of the pride. Her mother was in the late stages and she died shortly after Mthunzi’s departure. Jabulani is still recovering from her loss.
