Aw that must of sucked for you! My Christian half of the family are complete a** holes because im jewish because my mom is and she was the only one that took care of me....my dad's side tries to convert me every time i go there....

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints;
I would like it if you did not call me Mormon. I'm sorry, but the name
was given to the people of my faith as a result of mass murders,
extermination orders, and mob persecutions against our church. This
being said, I'm happy to see that everyone is posting their faith down.
It’s good to find others who are willing to share what they believe
in a calm manner with others.

Wellps i believe some things but not others, like explain how 'god' was there in the first place.....just a spirit being there doesnt sound right to me....but i believe in heaven and hell.....and maybe u just stay in ur grave sleeping.....huh,,,uhm this conversation hurts meh head!!

Hmmm..... I'm kinda in between religions at the moment. I was raised by a Protestant-Cristian family, so I used to be Christian, but I sorta drifted away from that religion for various reasons. I'm kinda leaning towards Buddhism now, but I don't know much about it, and I don't want to take a chance on them (Family) seeing any links or search results for Buddhism, since Christianity is one of those My Way (to heaven) or the Highway (to hell) religions, and everyone in my family is Christian to some degree or another except me. So, if someone could provide a discreet link, or maybe just make a post in this forum explaining some of the tenets of Buddhism, I'd be most appreciative.
P.S. It might be a good idea to do exactly that, post topics explaining what each religion believes, so people can get a better idea of what they're dealing with.
