Lyf looked thoughtful for a moment before smiling and turning to exit the room. "Lets get you settled now shall we?" She squeaked happily before the echo of her claws as they clicked along the smooth floor expanded out across the walls. Heading down deeper into a portion of the temple that seemed to be connected yet seperate from the main temple body. Tapping once on the door with a claw it slid to the side and a stark, white hallway greeted them. Yet it was lit softly, creating a heavenly glow and envoking a sleepy feeling. Along the walls were many doors, the first few had red crosses, followed by black crosses and further back were a few white crosses. Though beyond that it was hard to tell what color crosses adorned the doorways. Though beside each door was a sconce casting beautiful white light all around. Water trickled down along the walls, sending gorgeous shadows dancing and a soothing noise to envoke the senses. They didn't investigate of course.
"Follow me Peipei." She spoke softly as she turned to the first door marked by a bright red cross and tapped it open. The door jumped under her touch and opened up into a lovely, well furnished room. It looked clean, futuristic almost with its smooth, white tile floor and soft, white walls. Red silk banners bearing the Goddesses crest fluttered in each corner. Across the ceiling was draped, red silk with a smart black trim seperated from the lower portion by a piece of glass which kept in a variety of enchanting fireflies. Lighting the room in a soft, ever-changing glow. And illuminating the silk, giving it an almost watery feel as it rippled and flowed.
A small fountain trickled beside the door. The bed was a large, four-poster style bed with a silken canopy and a down stuffed matress. A bookcase covered one entire wall, filled to the brim with starter knowledge. Lamps, curved and stainless steel stood at the ready, in case the follower should like to study. And a long, curved, white desk stood in waiting to the right. Much like a receptionists desk. "Here you are, if you're in need of anything don't hesitate to ask. Study as much as you like, feel free to explore the hallways and get a feel for your surroundings. But please, don't enter any of the rooms just yet. I've a few errands to run but I'll be back soon." With a mischievious smirk she stepped out into the hallway. "See you soon." And with a wink she was gone.

"Wow, this is amazing..." PeiPei set her basket down on the bed, and her gardening supplies on the floor nearby. She turned on the lamp, walked over to the bookcase, selected a few books, including Healing Herbs and Basic Healing for Dummies, and began to study.
((i just had to add the "for Dummies" thing in there, i couldn't resist xd ))

Lyf had been gone for a while, only now returning with an armful of flowers and herbs. Her eyes focused as she disappeared into a room, only to return empty pawed. Stretching, placing her claws along her spine and popping her back she yawned. It was garden time. Her claws clicking down the hallway as she headed to the receptionists desk and began to scribble on it's surface.
In seconds a puff of red smoke appeared in the center of Peipei's room bearing a scroll which read: 'Dearest Peipei, if you would be so kind as to meet me in the entrance room the first of your training shall begin. Lyf.' The smoke disappearing as the scroll dropped to the floor, awaiting a pick-up. Lyf smiled, heading to her chambers to freshen up. Sure, she could just think clean, but it was so much more satisfying to freshen up yourself.

PeiPei had just finished reading the first chapter of Basic Healing for Dummies when there was a small puff of red smoke on the floor. She looked up from the book, wondering what it could be. As the smoke cleared, it revealed a scroll. "Ooh!" She set the book down and picked up the scroll, then hurried to the entrance room. She was so excited!

{-I just remembered about the 'Dummies' thing. xd Bravo! That's great. Thank you for being so patient, I feel so bad for being gone that long and just leaving you. sad -}
The large, ivy laden door to Lyf's personal chambers opened from somewhere deep inside the temple and out stepped a rather clean and refreshed looking Goddess. Twirling her large needle between claws she stepped lightly down the lovely, low-lit hallways until finally she reached the entrance room. The low gurgle of the fountain made her sigh in appreciation.
The steady flow of bobbling fireflies, a trio of the little insects having found their way back inside, gave it all a mellow feel. Admiring a wallscroll as she waited for her apprentice, tapping a claw to the lower portion of her ruby lips and tilting her head to one side. The shock of hair falling over an eye adding charm to her impish yet gentle aura.

( xd yeah, i couldn't resist that! and it's okay, it wasn't THAT long. *checks dates* wow, that WAS a long time! xd but still, it's okay. i understand that stuff happens and whatnot. 3nodding )
PeiPei hurried to the entrance room, infinitely excited. 'Ooh, my first lesson!' As she approached the room, she slowed slightly. She approached the goddess, bowing and saying "My lady Lyf, I am here, and ready for training, ma'am." She couldn't keep the excitation out of her voice.

{- @-@ We've been moving and fixing up the new house. Plus we were kicked from Cable to Dial-up, so the 'getting online' is a pain in the arse. X3 But I can't resist the chance to RP.-}
Lyf blinked as a voice echoed about the chambers and she twirled around speedily yet sure of paw to spy the bowing Peipei. Giving her a warm, appreciative smile she stretched her arms out, the spike-texture of her hair seeming to have a life all it's own as it raised a trifle higher. Her eyes sparkling with kindness. "Wonderful child, wonderful! Let us be off then, we've much to do and so little time in which to do it.. or so I've heard."
Taking Peipei by the arm gently she led her off down the hallways, twisting and turning and maze-like. The clinging fabric of her white dress shifting easily over her petite figure as she went, her free-paw twirling the needle idly. "Did you rest well?" She inquired, she'd been gone for so long. It was quite rude of her but such things could not be helped. "I trust the temple has tended to you well?"

Great black, red, and white wings flapped powerfully as Dessique hovered towards down a marble pathway, under archways and by great foliage. His eyes were shining through his goggles that rested across the bridge of his delicately shaped muzzle. Approaching the great building, standing smooth and white, true in beauty and elegance to it's caretaker, he allowed his bare paws to touch the ground, hind claws making a slight clicking noise as he did.
Adjusting himself in small, graceful movements as he approached the large and omnipotent doors, he pulled his glove up snugly around his wrist and then brushed back his long, black locks of hair. The angelic's tail swayed behind him as he walked, thick and fluffy 4laugh . Reaching his destination, he raised his paw into the air and rapped on the door ever so lightly. -tap tap-

The Goddess had the odd ability to split herself into many seperate bodies on the off chance she needed to tend to two things at one time. She disliked doing it and so rarely did. This was one of those 'need to' times. The rap at the door was swiftly noticed and while Lyf hummed softly, using a claw to twirl her blood and ravens feathers hued hair absently like an impatient school-girl might do while awaiting some trivial matter, she made her way towards the new sound with haste. Now who on earth would be at her door? Another mortal? Her song broke onto the air as she mumbled a couple of words to the catchy little ditty. Her paw waved once, back and forth, while she decided to take a seat on the fountain-side and play with a feisty little lightning bug the color of amber. As her paw moved the door opened slowly to permit whomever should so choose to present themselves. Her curiousity peaked.
"Please enter dear friend." She cooed from her seat beside the aquatic attraction, actually leaning backwards, straining her neck so as to see who was paying her a visit. The one she saw caused her eyes to widen in pleasant surprise. The Goddess made a most undeitylike squeel of excitement and practically flew from the fountain in her haste to reach him. "Dessique! Dear sweet sisters of heaven, you're here!" Her arms extended as she smiled brightly, her skin radiant and practically glowing with laughter and happiness. "How've you been doll?" Giving him a rather surprisingly strong embrace for one of her size, she blinked up at him and smiled wide. Her features almost cherubic. "It's been quite some time since last we were together, has it not?"

Smiles to Lyf, the tips of her fangs showing through. "How do you manage to keep things so peaceful my sister? i could never do so, everything is always at an extreme for me, never truely neutral, though that is what I am." She folded the map up and tucked away in one of her wing fold pockets. She glanced around the room one last time, "Tis trully an amazing place you have here, sister mine."

Lyf had been idly leaning over the receptionists desk in an attempt to save one of her good pens from rolling away when she heard the familiar tones come sailing towards her from the main hall. "Ratri!" Came Lyfs excited reply, bolting upright and smoothing out her short dress which clung lovingly to her curves. "It's so good to see you! You look lovely." Gliding over she tapped a needle to her knuckles and tilted her head to one side, smiling brightly. Always sweet unless moody or pissed off. "Why thank you, things are quite harmonious here but excitement of late has eluded our keep. I suppose you must be hogging it, hmm?" She wrinkled her nose in good humor and linked arms with Ratri. "Come, lets have tea. Is everything well with you?"
The fountain gurgled softly behind them as Lyf led them down one of the halls, but instead of turning into the room she recieved most of her guests in, she passed it. Leading Ratri deeper into the temple. A few sounds echoed from the halls, the dorms still held a few followers, those that weren't questing or researching. Otherwise that deep sense of peace settled over everything, instantly stealing away the stresses of the world outside Lyf's doors and giving clarity to all who recieved it willingly. Hey, she wasn't a healer for nothing.

Ratri giggles a bit and floats along next to her sister. "Tea would be lovely. Things are alright, though I do wish I had an angelique to help me. Mine temple becomes a lonely place as I have no arms to hold me while I sleep the cursed day away. Apollo doest love to keep me in the dark. Get it? Dark, me! Ha! Hahaha!" She waves her laughter away with a claw'd paw, then pulls a small white box with silver ribbon out of one of her wing pockets. Inside is a necklace with a charm in the shape of a syringe hanging from it, specially done for her sister Lyf. "Here, I was thinking of you, and made this."

Lyf listened carefully and with much empathy for her sisters plight, patting her arm softly and giving a warm smile. "Dear Ratri, you wont be alone forever, someone will come along soon. Have not a single doubt! Who could resist you?" She giggled kindly. "Do you have anyone specific in mind or are you still open to new possibilities?" The inquiry was innocent enough, yet she nearly exploded in excitement over the gift. "For me?! Oh..."
Holding the box delicately in her hands and doing everything in her power to keep from shaking it to determine the contents, like a child at Christmas. Her good senses, of course, won and the urge was dismissed. Clasping the lovely ribbon between two claws she pulled in taught and watched the box come undone, eyes glistening the lid was tugged free and she squeaked in delight, eyeing the necklace in a manner not unlike euphoria. "It's so beautiful! I love it! Thank you so much dear sister." Eyes glistening with tears of joy she swiftly clasped the necklace about her delicate neck and stowed the box and ribbon away in her dress to keep for later. She never wasted anything. Ever.

The sound of the fountain gurgling in the background soothed Lyf's senses as she sat, Foxglove curled up on her lap and in her arms, asleep. Her eyes drifted lovingly over his peaceful features, watching as an ear twitched and a paw jerked, obviously he was dreaming and not unpleasantly as he giggled and shifted. Lyf hummed softly, her voice beautiful and peaceful in the still, calm air. Silky strands of her medium length, spikey hair fell over and across one eye playfully, her glistening crimson eyes bright and alive as she practically glowed with maternal warmth. Lyf had taken to motherhood so exceptionally well, then again, it wasn't like there was any doubt. She even missed being pregnant a little. But seeing her and Dessique's children in the world was an amazing gift, she silently thanked her sister of fertility for such a smooth, uncomplicated birth. Especially since there had been four of them!
Lyf watched as Foxgloves eyes slowly opened and he yawned largely, exposing his cute little canines and little pink tongue. Gazing up at his mother he instantly had an impish smile on his face and squirmed in her lap, a giggle-like growl erupting as he tried to flip over onto his legs. The Goddess laughed and stood her baby up, his ears perking and head cocking before he wrapped his arms around her arm and snuggled her. Foxglove was always very affectionate, to everyone. She sometimes wondered how much of a good thing that was, but at least he was friendly and SO cute! His little, bushy tail swayed back and forth happily yet he lost his footing and slipped with an 'oof' landing across his mothers leg dazidly, as though he'd suddenly forgotten what he was doing, blinking up at his mother with a goofy grin. Lyf laughed amusedly, her face bright and sweet. "Oh, Foxglove. What on earth am I going to do with you?"

Dritan lay quietly next to his mother. His small, bushy tail flopped over his nose as he snoozed the day away. Being a baby was certainly exhausting sometimes. Especially with his hyper brother Foxglove around. He wore him out!
The sudden movement of his mother cause one deep red eye to pop open. Her warm body shifting. The young God scootched closer before closing his eye again. Ears flicking back and forth. But his nap was to be short lived as Foxglove let out a giggle. Both eyes popping open to watch as his brother topple over and the sweet sound of his mother's voice rang in his ears.
Oh well. Guess it was time to get up anyway. He'd take another nap in a little bit. Lifting his head, he blinked tired eyes as he glanced around. Letting out a silent yawn and stretching his back, his tail flicking away from his nose settling onto the ground next to him. Dritan pushed himself up into a sort of half leaning half sitting position as he rubbed his eyes with a tiny paw. Trying to clear the sleepiness away from them.
