I know this is random, but thats the reason Im putting it here- two things actually,
1: i have a ska suit heart (ish, as close as I could get, not being able to get braces or a tie)
2: There should be instruments on Gaia!

Oh, you know how all the original rudies are now emos?
Well, my sisters friend Ann turned over to the emo side, so she gave me all of her shirts. I got some Catch22 and FIF shirts. Weirdest thing ever, they fit PERFECTLY

Wow that really sucks. I could never get into emo. This new hardcore/emo stuff also makes me want to puke cause people try to call it punk! NOOOOOO don't disgrace the good name of real punk by labeling the new hardcore...punk of all things.

Well, atleast I got some cool shirts out of it.

I went to my first real ska show today!! xd

Well, it really wasnt a "ska" show. It was a competition at The Downtown. My brother's ska band was playing. Most of the bands were hardcore, but there were like 3 ska bands.

People started skanking in the middle of the room. I wanted to join in, but my dad kinda pushed me away cause he probably thought it was too dangerous. Lol..

In the end, a hardcore band won. I was a little dissapointed cause I'm not too big on hardcore. I just felt like it wasnt fair.. How can you judge between two completley different genres of music?

That's true. It's like comparing cheesecake to tacos. They are both good, but not in the same way

well...over pring break i had my 18th birthday party on the beach...mwahaha...and i put ska on and i ALONE skanked in the sand as the sun went down....
it was most magical
AND...i got made fun of too...lmao...
then i "accedently" kicked my friend cause i was skanking "too close" to him...hehe whee

My cousins and I skank everywhere. We were at a party and they had a dance off. We just did a mixture between the Time Warp dance from Rocky Horror Picture Show and skanking.

Now that I think about it, they never picked a winner. Man.
