niyatahri hunched her body around the poor kitsune as she hugged the poor terrified girl lovingly and comfortingly in her arms "then why not let me despair in the futility as i watch my efforts come to nothing?" niyatahri suggested quietly, turning her head a little to look at the dark elf from where she was cradling the kitsune to her small insubstantial chest like a mother with a frightened child. she looked up, hearing something and her eyes widened as she SAW the blast coming. "YIPES...!!" she said, curling in around the kitsune tighter, trying to get a better center of gravity as she felt her long hair whip out of its binds and slash her face with the blast's ferocity "holy sh...eesh"

niyatahri shut her eyes shut as things went shooting over her head, feeling that it was earth by the rumble under her knees. still hugging the frozen kitsune (no pun intended, my bad -_- lol) she hadn't realized that her body temperature was rising due to the stress going around her as it automatically prepared her for fighting or fleeing.

niyatahri had her eyes closed as she kept her arms locked around the kitsune, unaware of what was going on. she didn't feel the shove, her arms falling to wrap around okori's leg. opening her eyes, she felt scared for the kitsune, though nothing really strong enough to haunt her. breathing air harshly through her nose, niyatahri slowly let go of the kitsune and with dignity stepped away. having heard what esyae's voice sounded like, she imitated it, filling it with scorn at a general kitsune fear "fine, if you wish to lose your freedom to one who would just use you to destroy all that is fun, all that is yourself and the few others you could be friends with and have fun playing tricks on..." she hissed scathingly "ill know who it is who's around that dark elf's neck, it will be YOU because you couldn't, WOULDN'T even try to save yourself..." niyatahri sneered, keeping pace to scold and scorn the kitsune (id have niyatahri be desperate and bite her, but would need ur permission XD since she IS thought to be a were....and they're known to be wilder and under less control than lycanthropes...well, known to be wild and out of real control XD since esyae wouldn't be able to tell)

(i don't think niyatahri would WANT to bite your elf....im sure she smells bad enough, tastes worse XD and you'd probably just try to kill or control my lycanthrope instead..... sweatdrop and while im sure i could get out of it, i don't want to be accused of gmodding -_- so id better try to stay away from that type of circumstance)

niyatahri looked amused, her lips turning up into a sneering smile at the corners "really, you think so? ive gotten pretty good at imitating voices, you know....the improved hearing" she said, making it sound like she had been bitten. snorting again, she shook her head as her empathy screamed at her to try to still help "whatever...though why bother on a kitsune? they are so gullible and easily controlled as you have shown...so why bother?" niyatahri scoffed, turning her back to stretch and look at the dark elf over her shoulder with one eye open the other closed. shrugging she started to walk away as she tentatively felt the kitsune's presence in her mind, somehow working past the automatic mental guards of a person's mind to reach towards the emotional primeval part of someone's brain, where emotions reigned supreme and controlled reactions...habitually automatic ones, like revulsion, anger...or fear.

seeding a small emotion of determined anger to warm the primeval part of the kitsune's mind, she sent an extra sense of healing green in the small emotional bud to hopefully start a warm reaction to awaken her inner fire

(and yes, i can do this....i made sure it was possible by reading my profile...she is speaking to the part of okori's mind that is similar to just an animal or plant...in the case of plant subconscious, in the animal? emotions and reactions...could almost say she was mentally reaching out to the fire fox XD not trying to gmod sweatdrop and it would normally be unseen, unless you could sense emotions and thoughts too sweatdrop NOT trying to stop your character from reacting...you could switch to a less-emotional fear, for example...not one to herself that my lycanthrope can try to combat by self-survival, for example...though i don't want to try to see what i can come up with that -_- id been accused of gmodding too often, especially since i had explained how my stuff worked >.< gaa, too much)

niyatahri's muscles under his hand tensed, her not being used to touch and not really liking the sensation correction...i don't like being touched by strangers she corrected mentally, a pang reminding her of her loss. breathing evenly through her nose she consciously loosened her uncooperative shoulder muscles...they tried to stay tight after she already loosened them under his hand "sorry...not used to...strangers....or just stranger people" she muttered under her breath so only alkerai could hear. she stared coldly at the other elf, her hand clenched tightly into a fist "agreed...we WILL free the free-spirited kitsune..." she barely breathed out

making a scoffing noise, niyatahri gave the night elf a sort of insult only a true predator would understand...she turned her back and calmly walked away, loose and seemingly relaxed though she had her super-sensitive senses tuned in on all the happenings behind her. so far, she had done nothing to show she was other than a strong were. she hoped she didn't need to kill more than necessary to keep her secret...but that was part of being what she was. a prime killing machine, meant to be hid at ANY cost "let us go...those who crow over early victories tend to be have short staminas in true, honest fights. those who can plan ahead, will be their for their assured victory.
