Akureikami These songs in my head: Oh noOh what turbulent emotions: WorriedThe spirits that stand with me: ZamirXenos' concern was evident the moment the words left Zamir mouth. Reaching out he put a hand on his strange friend's shoulder before pulling him towards him to hug him. "Don't you ever say something like that to me again. If I'm not allowed to kill myself then neither are you." Xenos said softly but seriously. It had been here two years ago that Zamir had stopped him after a very emotional and revealing conversation with the Wandless Magic professor, Eleri. Pulling back to look at the normally emotionless boy's face, Xenos tried to figure out what was wrong. There wasn't any obvious reasons. Zamir had been distant all summer long. He didn't even see him when Xenos was admitted into St. Mungo's again. "Talk to me Zamir. What's going on?" He asked in the same soft voice as before. As long as I'm living, I'll be waiting As long as I'm breathing, I'll be there Whenever you call me, I'll be waiting Whenever you need me, I'll be there

Akureikami Akureikami These songs in my head: Oh noOh what turbulent emotions: WorriedThe spirits that stand with me: Zamir"There's nothing wrong with gain a few of those back. But what brought this on. Please Zamir there has to be something." Xenos said continuing on in his soft tone. Reaching into his pocket he produced a handkerchief. Yes the Ravenclaw carried them. He found them handy during Quidditch should he managed to make himself bleed. "Here you aren't going to get far with wet hands and sleeves."The albino couldn't imagine what would bring this on. It didn't matter though. Zamir was hurting and he wasn't going to abandon him. He had known the Cross boy for years, even a bit before school had started as their parents worked together. Zamir was every ounce his brother as Xerxes, his twin, was. As long as I'm living, I'll be waiting As long as I'm breathing, I'll be there Whenever you call me, I'll be waiting Whenever you need me, I'll be there

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ¦¦ Classes had just let out and most students were either heading for the Great Hall or the library. At the ring of the bell, crowds of students and the occasional teacher washed the corridors heading to guessable destinations. The white-haired first year, however, decided to take his own detour. He was neither hungry nor in the mood to begin any of his assigned work. He was a procrastinator to the bone. So, instead, he ventured outside to the covered bridge that connected one side of the castle to the grounds. He had passed over it before and had always felt a strange marveling for its sheer height and odd construction. Now, slowly walking across it, he stared out the side as his eyes traced the chasm that stretched just below him. He stopped and walked over to the edge, leaning and dark eyes glancing down at the dangerous fall he was safe from. Allen had no fear of heights, he found looking down deep into something just as interesting as looking up at the sky. Letting out a content sigh, he leaned even harder, deciding to stay and look around for a while. Not feeling that 'hard-worker' aspect to his House at all. Thoughts of his sorting began to surface and he again felt perplexed as to why he was set in the badger house. ¦¦

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ¦¦ Allen had become enveloped by his thoughts and musings and completely tuned out any sounds around him - especially the oncoming footsteps of another student. Shock filled and slightly froze him when he felt an impact on his side and he stumbled ungracefully. He did not have enough reflex to turn and look at what had run into him, but an object flew right in front of his vision. With just a second required to realize it was a book, Allen reached out for it as he saw it slowly falling down over the edge of the bridge. His fingers grazed the binding and caused the book to flutter and spin midair, but still plummet. He hissed as he saw it escape his view from behind the wooden railing of the bridge and tried to catch it again, leaning heavily on the edge now and reaching for it. But it was too far down. "Oh, hell." he muttered as he watched it fall. Then his memory kicked back in and he turned to see a young, Hufflepuff girl fallen from the impact. Allen quickly offered her his hand, "you alright? Was that your book? Hell, I am sorry about that." An apologetic twinkle in his eye showed his real regret for not having caught it in time. ¦¦

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ¦¦ Allen frowned, "Books are important, even if there are so many of them, each one is... important." He ended awkwardly, not quite knowing where he was trying to head his point to. He shrugged instead and continued on a slightly different note, "I mean, it isn't even my book and I am kinda sad I didn't save it..." He looked over the edge and looked at the now-still water along with her. he wished he knew the summoning charm, he could have enchanted the text right back to them and all would have been fixed. "...What book was it?" he asked sheepishly, eyes returning to the pretty House mate. Curiosity as well as continuous guilt bubbling. ¦¦
