Personality: From the moment he was born, Jabari was a ray of sunshine in the lives of his loved ones. Nothing gets this cub down! He loves to laugh and play and fool around, but he has a sensitive heart and often will go out of his way to amuse others, particularly when he feels they could use some cheering up. He’ll sing goofy made up songs to smaller cubs when they’re scared, nuzzle his mom when one of her friends is getting sicker, and be there for his friends when they need him the most. Jabari has a natural empathy towards the others in his pride, and nothing makes him happier than making someone he loves feel better in a hard time. And there are no harder times than these.
Once he hits adolescence, Jabari will began to feel the plague taking effect on him, but he will do his utmost to prevent anyone from knowing he feels ill, carrying on with his normal foolishness and acting like nothing’s wrong. He has a strong constitution and a lot of stubborn willpower, and even once he grows into an adult it will be a rare day that he feels so ill that he can’t pretend any longer. If there’s one thing this lion hates, it’s knowing that others feel sad on his account, and so he keeps his suffering very private, shared only with his siblings and mother, and even then only when he can’t help it. Jabari will devote his life to bringing happiness to others, and in doing so, bringing happiness and satisfaction to himself.
What Do You See His Relationship Like With his Mother & Siblings?: No matter what they think of him and his playful ways, Jabari will adore his family no matter what they grow to be like. He’d literally do anything for them, and will make it a personal goal to always make time for them no matter what his life turns into.
