It's the intention.
I'm also realizing a lot of stuff about myself, thinking about how I would react if ____ happened:
1. I'm a total p***y.
2. Shovels are my weapon of choice.
3. I cry and launch into hyperventilating/asthma attacks when I get scared.

Well the point is you can be someone who you are not. SO long as you insert reasonable and balanced flaws the wish fulfillment doesn't turn mary sueish.

My small bit of tweaking comes in the form of me not passing out cold or dying of a heart attack if I ever saw Masky/Slendy out of nowhere. Especially in my house. And more tweaking to things I'd say and how I'd say them, since IRL me is actually boring and can't speak well.
And me having the strength to wield a shovel, and having the time to document all of this and not tell anyone, especially my mom.
Willing suspension of disbelief is my friend. <3
