Name/meaning: Almas'Hala ['Diamond halo around the moon']
Bio: Almas raised herself, when a lion attack took her mother and her father wasn't very interested in raising the pups himself. She was half grown at the time, so didn't exactly need him anymore, anyway. She used the dark color of her fur to conceal her at night, hunting by the shadows and scavenging most of her meals without a pack of her own to help her hunt. She is a very independant female. Because of her father's actions, she doesn't want to have to depend on any male for anything.

Name/meaning: Temitope ['Enough to give thanks']
Bio: Temitope left home once she hit adulthood, able to take care of herself without anyone being able to tell her she couldn't. She felt tied at her old pack. She wanted to see more of the world then the very small corner of the land they owned. A very kind and romantic female, she wants to make a story for herself. Hopefully with a mate of her own who enjoys adventuring as much as she does.

Their personalities and how they feel about each other:
Aziz'Salil was the care free type, focused more on playing games than he was duty. Especialy with his little brother. However, That all changed when their pack was eliminated and he was forced to flee with his brother. After that event he became more duty driven and less into games. He tries at all costs to keep his brother from the darker side of reality, even if that means playting a game or two. Though he never seems to enjoy it. His little brother is all he as left and he will guard him at all costs.
Hasan'Salil Not the brightest bulb in the box and quite the opposite of his brother, Hasan's name is very fitting for him. Most he has going for him is his good looks. It's not really that he's stupid. He has his fair share of intelligence. The white male is far too trusting and naive for his own good. If not for Aziz, there was no telling the kinds of trouble he would get himself into. Of course, this doesn't stop Hasan from running off on his own in order to get away from the tight grip Aziz seems to want to keep on him. It's suffocating, to say the least. He doesn't want to be shielded from the entire world and not live for himself.
At the same time, he appreciates and respects what his brother tries to do for him. He'd be lost without him. Probably quite literally.

Balon was actually raised by a lion who taught her how to foretell. Her mission is to spread her abilities through hyena kind, and to help her people honor the gods.

Owner: Satsurashi
Name/meaning: Rata’nadi (Night river in Hindi)
Bio: Rata is the self-exiled priestess of a pack she lived in long ago, one where males ruled and females were subservient to them. One of the males of the royal family made no secret of the fact that he fancied her, but this cruel, heavy-handed male turned her stomach, and so despite the fact that she knew she would face consequences, she refused him. The male, enraged by her rejection, attacked her, and in her haste to escape him she fled up a narrow mountain pass, where he lost his footing and fell to his death. His fall was noisy and many saw it happen, and since Rata herself would be killed for such a crime, she fled the pack for her life, never to return. Now, she keeps to herself, always moving from place to place and hiding her personal secret, lest word of it travel back to her former pack and they find her.

Their personalities and how they feel about each other:
Burnam and Beylai were raised in a very traditional, rigid pack. Even though they were only half-brothers, they were closer to each other than to any of their litter-mates. They found life in the pack dull. Where was the excitement? Where was the adventure? Where was the SPECTACLE? As soon as the brothers were old enough to travel, they lit out with their tails on fire, seeking a more interesting life. The brothers never did find a place where they fit in, but along the way they have collected a band of oddballs and misfits. Freaks, if you will. In exchange for food, some smaller animals like snakes, badgers, and birds have agreed to follow Burnam and Beylai. The troupe travels from pride to pride, putting on shows. All of their familiars - and some larger beasts - take part. They may sell flashy (and worthless) knicknacks to the rubes, con people in crooked games ("Just knock the pile of bones down with this rock! It's so easy a cub could do it! Come on, sir, you look big and strong, win a prize for your lady!"), or don ridiculous costumes to star in the freakshow under names like "The Maned Lioness" and "The Lion Eating Antelope".
Burnam and Beylai are top performers. Even though they have their differences and arguments (and can both be a bit prima-donnaish at times), they always forgive each other quickly. The show must go on, and they can't afford to fight. They have a troupe to care for, and their audience NEEDS them! The hyena brothers are reluctant to take time away from their carnival, but they often take side trips to recruit performers. They will not balk at attempting to hire gods and goddesses for the freakshow ("We'll call you Birdcat! Half bird, half cat! Then we can sell your feathers after the show! Hey, stop smiting me, this is a legit opportunity!"). They are also not shy about approaching 'ugly' people, gushing over how fabulously terrible they look and telling them that they could be a star.
In their personal lives, Burnam and Beylai will probably be eternal bachelors. Many a lady has swooned over the brothers - they are quite dashing when in character - but has ultimately been disappointed. Burnam and Beylai can both sweep a lady off her paws ... and abruptly drop her, rushing to attend to some problem with the show. Ultimately, the troupe as a whole and the show are more important to them than relationships with ladies.
Although the brothers present a united front to outsiders, those who know them well can tell the differences in their personalities. Beylai is a true showman, always loud, enthusiastic, and impeccably groomed, but he has a genuine soft spot for the oddballs and misfits in the troupe. He doesn't see putting them in a freak show as 'exploiting' them ... he sees it as helping outcasts gain a real career. After all, he himself has glued on a fake crocodile tail a time or two. Beylai is a tad bit sensitive and MIGHT be capable of a real relationship with a woman ... if she loved the troupe as much as he does, and if Burnam doesn't keep ruining things. Beylai has learned not to take relationships seriously.
Beneath the suave exterior, Burnam is in it for the fame and fortune. He swindles not out of habit, as Beylai does, but for the rush and the profit. Burnam knows how to sweet talk the unfortunate people that join the troupe, and he is happy to exploit them shamelessly. Burnam loves to love and leave the ladies ... especially Beylai's ladies. Even though Beylai is his brother, business partner, and friend, he just can't help himself. The challenge is too thrilling. When he seduces Beylai's girls, he tells his trusting brother that the girl in question hit on him, reinforcing Beylai's opinion that it would be a mistake to fall for a woman.

Bio: Nwa Mare's small pack lived by a cold seashore, making their living from the things that drifted up on the beach. When a band of warrior-like lions came upon them to carry them away as slaves, Nwa Mare and her packmates fought but were pushed all the way back to the shore. Rather than be murdered, the pack swam out and drowned themselves. Nwa Mare washed ashore later that night, and watched helplessly from afar as the band of lions celebrated their victory by carrying away the pack's young into a life of slavery. Much older now, the sorrowful hyena travels aimlessly, freely dispensing the strange songs, stories and herbal potions of her lost people and performing peculiar voodoo-like magics.
