ALL pure-bloods are related. he IS related to Godric. What im gonna say is kind of a spoiler so...highlight to see it. its in white.
* Harry was a descendant of the Peveralls and that is how he received the invisibility cloak. The Peveralls are possibly one of the most ancient pure-blood families! So i guarantee you he is related to Godric but is not a direct descendant. The Peveralls blood-line problably reach back as far as the Hogwarts founders or older. It is stupid to think they ARENT related....but as i said he is not a direct descent*

J.K. said that most pureblood (and all wizard families) families are related. So it could be a possibility but J.K. said (or typed) herself, no.
