And that sounds good, Mtoro - do you have any ideas for a third person, though?

I already have a partner for the twin lions (Samawati and Waridi). =)
If anyone is interested in the hyena trio (I love the daddy), let me know!
Applying for: Umaarufu Player of Umaarufu: Mogami
Why were you named 'fame'? You're lovable, if a bit slow, so it doesn't seem like it would fit you that well. What was your cubhood like?
Often mistaken for stupid because of his distinctive slow reactions, Umaarufu is a good-natured lion who is still searching for his place in world. The big fluffy lion has started losing hope that he’ll ever find a mate who will stick around - he has been used for cubs on more than one occasion – and friends he can rely on – he has also been tricked into fight for someone else’s problems a few times. Despite his previous experiences, Rufu(s) hasn’t really become bitter or distrustful, on the contrary! He still gives away his trust to near strangers, falls in love with every fiber of his body and always – always! – thinks the best of every lion and lioness he meets even if he or she have disappointed him in some way before.
As a cub, he seemed to make friends with ease but those relationships were very hard to keep. Already a little slower than the others, Umaarufu invariably took on the role of protector – he was big even as a cub – and the other youngsters were quick to realize he wasn’t much of a leader despite his size and encouraged him to fight their battles and fix their problems. Pretty soon he was being controlled and used – he took the fall of the other cubs’ mistakes on several occasions and, strangely enough, being “slow” got him out of trouble rather quickly. This cycle was repeated many times and it usually ended in the same way: solitude, as Rufus removed himself from such groups.
Usually cheerful, he can’t help to feel a little saddened by his name, a reminder of all the great things his mother had hoped he would accomplish. He is a decent fighter but nothing extraordinary. He doesn’t have a close nit group of friends or a pride that values him. He doesn’t even have a mate. He is glad she can’t see him right now because he can’t bear to think of how disappointed she’d feel.
For all his woes, Rufu is still able to make friends with ease. He is the kind of friend who greatly encourages those around him and boosts their confidence, giving them exuberant displays of joy when something good happens to them, pointing out all the great things they’ve done in order to reach that goal. After he was helped by Tungiza, he decided to follow him to repay his debt but now he already feels connected to the small travelling group and he too wishes to find the peaceful Pridelands his new leader talks about.

Applying for: Kitokono, Kombe, and Kisukuku Player of Kitokono: Depawsit Player of Kombe: Mtorolite Player of Kisukuku: Redbud Tree
Kombe and Kisukuku were only pups when their mother was killed. They do not remember much of her, but Kitokono does. How did the family cope with the missing presence of Kosi?
KITOKONO Kitikono hadn't been himself since his mate's passing, in just a few moments time his life had changed forever and he wasn't so sure he could do it all alone. The pair had always dreamed of having a big, loving family and growing old together; now he has forced to raise his two pups alone. Well that wasn't entirely true, he had the help of his growing family, but it was such a confusion. Every family member has a different view of how the pups should be raised, disciplined, looked after; none of which seemed quite right to him. Times were definitely hard, the loving family he had once dreamt about seemed to be falling apart at the seams, his only son had grown distant and his daughter seemed to favor other family members over her own Father. But he would perservere, no matter what it took he had to honor his deceased mate by carrying on the legacy she had helped him to create. Even if it took listenting to every bit of advice his AND her extended family could ever think to offer, he would do it. Prepared beyond his years to rebond the family that he seemed to be losing touch with at such a devastating rate.
KOMBE Kombe had changed since he was just a pup. It was hard to remember that he was really just a kid, at least for Kombe himself, so intent was he on being grown up. He grew loud, rude, and brash, from the quiet and reserved pup he was, following his mom's death, because he was an adult now He didn't need to respect his elders. They'd just die on him anyway. He could take care of himself. He had lost his mom, and he knew he had to man up. He couldn't be a weak little baby anymore. And, as his dad and grandad kept saying, the only way he could man up was through experience. Long before his father thought it was acceptable to stop mourning, Kombe was running off on his adventures, chasing snakes and running from ratels, believing that the little scrapes he got into would be "experience" and practice hunting, so he wouldn't need his dad or his family. They might die to, and he couldn't waste time mourning them. He needed to grow up, and to survive.
KISUKUKU
Kisukuku was never the most outgoing of pups. Always a bit on the timid side, when her mother was alive she clung to her, sticking close to her side and imitating her in very way. When her mother died, the small pup was shattered. Her rock, her greatest source of comfort, her protector was gone. Her father was still around, yes, but he wasn’t her mother, being too different in all of the ways that mattered the most to Kisukuku. Instead of bonding with her father or brother, she started to stick closer to her grandfather, because he looked more like her mother, and even though her memories of her mother gradually faded, her grandfather’s presence provided a semblance of the security and love that she had lost. Kisukuku rarely speaks any more, and keeps to her grandfather’s side. In some ways, she acts younger than she really is, unwilling to let go of the feelings and faint memories that she still has.
