"I left him in the upper meeting room with Elena and Aeris. Do you know them? Maybe not. Elena's a young Turk, and Aeris is a flower girl from the slums. At least, that is what she appears to be." Tseng explained to the chimera. Then he looked at the Captain. "Captain Beckfield, this chimera has my permission to go almost freely about. However, if you catch him getting into mischief, go ahead and try to lock him back up." He commanded, wondering who the other detained people in the cell were.

Murdock had been listening to the converation, every part very ineresting to him... that and helping the Turks sounded like fun. "Hey... Tseng right?" He asked as he stood. "Do you think you could use a mercenary?"

OOC: Read the role playing rules and System (or at least skim the basics) then post your bio in the respective announcement. Also if you are trying to get a story character you need to talk to the Guild Captain Ermak Lorde. And my character is dead in this rp so I can't really post sweatdrop

((You could always make another character... confused ))
Freyr nodded in quick affirmation, "Of course I know Aeris! Ilfana's daughter, Ghast helped them both!! ... Don't know this 'Elena' though, I'll have to go meet her!" He nodded to the captain with a nearly impish smile and trotted of happily down the hallway and up the stairs.
The captain sighed with resignation, closing the cell-door Freyr had opened, "What about those two sir? They were arrested for threatening the gaurds out front and demanding conference with... ah, ... the president."

"Don't scare either one off, though. We need them." Tseng said to the retreating Freyr, and then looked from the Captain to the men in the cell, specifically the one who had addressed him. "A mercenary? And I suppose by that, you are referring to yourself?" he asked. Crossing his arms, the superior Turk watched the man closely, "What would you be able to offer service-wise? I am not too entirely fond of mercenaries, seeing as their only loyalties are to money." he stated.

"Hmmm... service-wise I could kill things, make dangerous, top-secret deliveries or provide some protection... I use the word 'some' because my clients usually always come out with some scratches..." Murdock said, shrugging. "And I'll be honest with ya', I came here to get a job cause I have no money... but, I'll make you a special offer... if you let me out and provide a meal or two, I'll work for you for as long as you need me..." He said, grinning proadly. "I wouldn't usualy offer this, especialy since I've heard rumors about Shinra and you Turks... but I'm desperate and this whole thing sounds like fun... whadda ya' say?" He paused to think for a moment. "Oh yeah, I'll also give you fair warning, I'll quit anytime I don't agree with a job... like killing innocent people... stuff that just doesn't seem right, ya'know?"

"Mm." Tseng said noncommitally. This man didn't seem like what they would want in terms of employment. But, with the loss of SOLDIER and much of their other task force, there was little room to be picky. "I see. Well, I wouldn't usually do this, but these days.... Anyway, we'll give you a trial period, one in which you will be under some form of surveillance at all times. What is your name?" The Turk leader told him blunty, letting this man know through his tone that he wasn't entirely approving of his attitude.

Murdock shrugged "Alright, if thats what you want to do..." he really wasn't bothered by the idea of being watched or the tone of Tseng's voice, he was just happy to get out of his cell and do something. "My name's Murdock Jacelon."

Tseng gave a small nod. Taking the keys from the captain, he opened Murdock's cell door. After thinking about what they should do with him for a moment, the dark haired man finally decided. "Come with me, Mr. Jacelon." He commanded, thinking he should probably go back and check up on the new hopeful President and Freyr, as well as the girls. He started to lead Murdock up, wondering if he should trust this man so much. Then again, he didn't really mean that the man would always be watched. Some of the time, yes, but it was the idea that Murdock would be under surveillance which Tseng hoped to make him behave.

"Yes sir, Mr. Tseng sir!" Murdock said, giving a clumsy salute before following him. As they walked he kept looking around with his hands stuffed in his pockets. He always liked taking in the detail of any new place he was in, it repelled the boredom and had the possibilty of coming in handy later... like say, he was fighting something and his weapon was knocked away from him... he could use stuff like a fire extinguisher to blind his opponent and give him enough time to get his sword back. He didn't really know if a scenario like that would happen... but you never know...

Freyr happily jogged up the long flights of stairs, covering four to eight at a time. His long legs took this portion easily, and gone where the days where he couldn't coordinate his hooves and paws onto the narrow steps. After all,... he rarely fit in the elevator. When he finally reached the upper meeting room he was grinning broadly, and his face was slightly flushed from the excersize. He knocked politely but insistantly on the door, knowing well that no one without clearance would approach this area, let alone know it might be important.

Aeris went quietly to her room still thinking over the events. She was still in shock she knew, it had all happened so quickly, her head still reeled from the gravity of the situation. There was almost no one left. Tseng was the only person she still knew in the world. After Elena left her to herself, the brave young Cetra flower girl, broke down into tears. In the past, the deaths of her loved ones had been bearable as the Planet had allowed her to commune with them one last time. Jenova had not given such a chance to those it had consumed.

Freyr suddenly paused, he had knocked on one door, but he thought he heard noises from down the hall. A human would have heard nothing... there was also the faint perfume of flowers. Intruiged Freyr trotted briskly down the hall, not waiting for the conference room to be opened. In moments he stood outside the room from whence the muffled sobs emenated. He knocked politely on the door, and again with his typical impatience gently eased the door open without waiting for a reply.
Elena was at a loss... instead of answering her question, Aeris had collapsed into tears. Not that the Turk didn't have a similar desire, but she didn't know how to deal with it in someone else. "Please... Aeris... I didn't mean... I ..." She stuttered hovering over the distraught young woman, trying hard to think of a solution. At that moment she heard a knock, "What do?..." she started almost irritably, then froze staring in shock. What on the planet was THAT? She stood in stunned amazement for those few dangerous moments before reaching back and pulling out her pistol, "Stop where you are!" She snapped quickly, hoping the creature wouldn't notice her trembling.
Freyr was quite accostomed to being greeted with fear, surprise, and more often than not, hostility. So it was no difficultly for him to intercept the young Turk before she decided to try something lethal. One of his favorite techniques for deceptive speed, was to lower his forpaws into a crouch before entering, then a mere step or two would bring him within reaching distance of most figures. So it was with the terrified young Turk, Freyr quickly and efficiently twisted the gun from her grasp, smiling his most dazzling smile, "Hi you must be Elena! Tseng told me you'd be up here..." He added quickly, then moved away before the young woman could react further, gazing down at Aeris his smile melted into such a warm fondness that he almost looked like a sibling or parent gazing down at her. "I would recognize you anywhere... Aeris," He murmered gently, setting down Elena's gun on the nightstand and laying down on the floor. bringing himself to just below her eye-level. "I knew Ilfana when you were just an infant. How is Elmyra?" His smile was so warm and happy it was almost impossible not to reciprocate.

"I"m sorry..." Aeris sniffled, trying heard to blink back the tears that once realized were unquenchable. When Freyr entered the room, she stared for many seconds, tears still silently running down her face. "F-freyr...?" She remembered slowly. She forced a small smile to him, and recalling the gentle comforting nature of the chimera, she put her head to his shoulder and pulled him close. "It's been a long time..."
