Personality: Philosophical but kind of dense when it comes to personal matters. He is the kind of guy who over-thinks things and ends up missing what is right in front of him. He likes to think he is a loyal, caring, guy, but truth is he is kind of selfish, and likes to do what he wants to do - such as going off to 'soul search' or 'find his true self,' whatever that means(apparently one 'pilgrimage' wasn't enough for him.) However he really does care about others. He just puts himself first.

Prompt Response: At first when the bird had told Shihab what happened, he had brushed it off. The pack was smart, and strong. Sure, an earthquake was nothing to make light of, but he was confident in the pack's ability. Even if the rumors were that most of the pack was dead..he just couldn't beleive that! He wouldn't! After a while though, there was a nagging feeling in the pit of his stomache as he thought about his friends, and those whom he was close to...
For days that feeling grew, until he could venture on no more. he had to turn around and go home. He tried to cover his worry with frustration. Who for? No one was with him. Was it for him self? Why then?
These were Shihab's thoughts as he chose to dwell philosophically on himself, rather than worry about what he might find when he returned home. It was often thoughts like these that brought him to venture away from the pack - for great lengths of time, some times. He was convinced that the answers to his internal battles lay elsewhere. That somewhere beyond the horizon was the knowledge he sought...
He spared little thought for those whom he left behind. He took forgranted that they'd be there when he decided to return. They always had been. They just had to be now... They must!
As Shihab began to worry, he shook his head and tried to think more about himself than the pack, the disaster, and what he might see. None the less he ran. He was always running. Whether he was running away or to, that depended on your perspective. Now though the most important thing was that he was running home.
Future plots: I can see his selfish and flighty nature making him butt heads a bit with Yildun, creating a bit of tension between the couple until he realizes, or she convinces him that they are meant to be together. Probably some sort of drama involved. XD Other than that..I guess whatever the pack plot offers.
