[GAME] Hide and Seek... Again! - Open!

[Chun Chun Boom]

Jong's eyes were also beginning to droop. A gecko could only do so much running around before he needed to refuel or rest his body. So he went off in search of some grub to eat. Luckily, the jungle offered a wide selection of bugs to choose from. He had already eaten a moth earlier, so this time he overturned some leaves to find a nice fat mealworm as a snack. After swallowing it all, he crawled up onto a big leaf to watch the leopards in the area.

As he trudged to yet another area for searching, Farraginis, looked up to see the exchange take place. Well, wasn't that nice for them, being able to switch out which leopard was keeping an eye on the proceedings. He wished that he could do the same with Jayani. Or at least have her here with him.

He poked around the new section. Nope, still nothing.

Jong had laid himself on the leaf. It was quite relaxing to not be rushing around trying to find things that seemed to be really hard to find. Eventually, he made himself get up and start looking again. He figured that if he didn't look, they may never find all the tokens. His size seemed to be suiting this game quite well. Bigger creatures tended to miss areas that smaller creatures noticed all the time.

Continuing to move, Farraginis zig-zagged across the area set aside for the game. Green and brown, trees and grass, earth and stones...nothing yielded anything out of the ordinary to his seeking.

Drat that leopardess!

Jong was just about to jump onto a plant when a leaf that had broken off from above fell on top of him. He frowned as his eyes were covered. With a wiggle, he popped out from underneath it. He quickly moved along to another spot to search for another token. Surely he would find another one soon if he only kept looking. That's what he told himself as motivation.

Desya had sat in his higher perch for some time, watching the others move about. He noted the change in game-master, his own eyes drooping a bit at the thought of a nap. Up in the trees would be a lovely place to doze. He had very nearly dozed off when a particularly chipper bird startled him back into wakefulness. Eh, he could nap anytime. He might not get another chance at this sort of game. Time to keep looking.

He rose on his branch, stretched and yawned widely, then padded along it to leap to another tree with the graceful ease of his kind. He'd stick to the upper pathways for now, and see if his luck change.d

Just when he thought there was nothing here, he spotted a glint of gold.

Jong squared off his little gecko shoulders. He was not going to give up. He would definitely keep trying. The leopards definitely had competition in him. Maybe it would be a better idea to search each area carefully instead of running around. He moved over to another, nearby spot. There he pushed aside leaves and looked around the stalks of plants. Just when he thought there was nothing here, he spotted a glint of gold.

Sayuri shifted, ears pricking as she noticed the glint of gold the gecko had found. Oh-ho, someone had found a gold token! "Congratulations, little gecko, you're a very lucky little critter! Hold onto that if you can, and you might be able to find our sneaky friend!" Provided, of course, she didn't EAT the gecko upon being found. Chances were good, though, that she was paying attention and would NOT eat the little lizard that came up to the leopards so bravely.

From his elevated, the brown and white leopard heard the call of the pink female to... the gecko again?! This was getting just a bit ridiculous. Perhaps he'd been on the right track before, ambling through the undergrowth instead of up in this tree.

With a disgruntled whoosh of breath, he landed heavily back onto the jungle floor and began prowling beneath the ferns, vines, and bushes again. Then again, if he wanted to find the leopardess, he should be up in the tree again. Such a large target would be easier spotted from above. Torn, he hovered uncertainly for a few moments in a dip in the land. To climb, or not to climb?

She heard it before she saw it - The distinct sound of the token bouncing off things. Sayuri sat up, looking around, before she watched a golden token plop down next to the brown and white leopard. Well, then! A grin lit up her face. "That's two gold tokens found! Which means somewhere in the area are three more! They shouldn't be THAT hard to found, now should they?" She had to ponder, though - Just where had that token been placed that it FELL? Maybe the male had knocked it from its hiding place.

Back and forth. To and fro. Here and there. Zig and Zag.

Farraginis moved over the course looking, looking hard. And yet he seemed to be the absolute unluckiest guy around! It seemed everyone else playing this game had managed to turn something up, even if it wasn't the leopardess! Ugh, how awful!

One ear flicking back, a leopardess paced into the area that was filled with so many searchers. Her dark green coat nearly blending into the jungle, she was hard-put to stifle a laugh--but bright golden eyes gleamed with amusement all the same. Well, well, if this wasn't a familiar sight! Valli had been on the opposite side of that particular game of hide-and-seek, of course, but perhaps it took one to know one. She started where she was--a patch of jungle, which was rather empty.

((There. Sorted. Mayhap I should not do this with the flu...))

Well, it looked like someone new had joined the hunt. Not a bad thing. Perhaps the damned leopardess behind this mess would finally be found now!

Not that Farraginis had any hope left of being responsible for that finding. He, after all, had no luck whatsoever in this game.
