heart so I roleplay out this response with either of the cubs? Velia was aware that she wasn't as much for pranks and tricks as the rest of her siblings but she still tried to get her dads attention, though by a different way. She had given up hope at the moment because he was quite distracted and it was clear she wasn't going to get him away from what he was doing. With a sigh she looked around when she saw something sparkle out of the corner of her eye. What was that? She padded over towards it and all she found was a rock. Hmm. That was odd. She looked around and then she caught the shine again and she looked and saw nothing but the rock. This was very strange. She looked at the rock and upon closer inspection saw a crack along side of it and when she adjusted it there was a shimmer of color from within and she wondered how it was possible for a rock to be so dull on the outside but so beautiful on the inside. She was definitely keeping this!

Using Dumo again!
---
For the first time in a few days, it seemed, Poe wasn't up to her usual tricks and getting into trouble. Dumo was pretty pleased with that. He was getting tired of saving her butt over and over! He thought she'd learn to pick better targets and places for her pranks...maybe this time she had.
Needing a bit of 'me' time, Dumo took a bit of a walk. Not too far from home, of course, since he had gotten in trouble last time for going out of earshot, but his siblings were taking a nap at the moment, so he knew he wouldn't run in to any of them even if he stayed close by their den. He tilted his head back to breathe in the nice, warm air, and paused as he did so. There were excited voices coming from the other side of a large rock. Curious, Dumo hopped up on the rock and crawled cautiously to the top, peering over the edge and to the cubs below.
What he saw made his eyes go wide with desire. It seemed one of the other pride members had dropped a very pretty shell necklace they wore, and the cubs had found it and were arguing over who should have it. Dumo crouched into a pouncing position as he weighed his options. If he could actually get the necklace, he could wear it, and if he was caught by adults with it, he could say he was just holding it while he tried to find its owner. But hey, who knew? Maybe it belonged to a rouge. He'd certainly never seen it before.
Wiggling his bum, he calculated the power he should put into the jump, and launched himself off the rock. The other cubs broke his fall - they didn't seem to be too thrilled with his perfect landing - and in the confusion that followed snagged the necklace in his teeth and took off. He grinned at his own success when he finally heard the yells behind him. Man, those cubs were dumb! He chuckled to himself as the other cubs finally started to chase him, but he knew he was free by that point. No way they'd catch him now!

I HAVE AN ENTRY! Name: Nubia 0 platinum -after naming quest- Aurea Araneae [Golden Widow] Personality: Feminine, loyal, empathetic, competitive, meek and lovely at first impression then aggressive and domineering when ticked off, though it fades quickly. Beta type personality, takes orders well (as long as they're not diminutive) and determined to follow through with any directive before her. That's not to say she doesn't have a stellar sense of humor or a big heart, one just needs to be in the trusted circle to find out (which of course would include her family).. In the future, after some major tragedy she will realize there are not many who will rise up and take action if the route is controversial even if the ends are justified by the means. With encouraging whispers from the spirits this turns into spending long periods of time in the rogue lands doing unsavory things for good reasons and good people. Prompt: 1 Response: Not long after Nubia's green eyes fluttered open for the first time, they beheld her sister Poekei's first practical joke, the exploits of which have been repeated in so many different varieties the original measure wore off with each crescendo of laughter. The brightly pelted little one even took part in a few of the games at first, but when she saw how hard Briant cried afterwards it made her sad to have been a part of it. Her first feeling of guilt would prove to be a very powerful experience for her to draw back on later on in her life, but for the moment she just wanted to forget about it and play in the warming sun. It only took a few hours to find herself in cahoots another, her sister Resque. Now that the pranks have gotten more frequent, they both knew what they needed to do. Nubia believed that if Poe knew what it was like to be the victim of a prank that she would change her tactics and not be so harsh in her teasing after, Nubia had faith in the good in her sister's heart to take the prank as a learning curve and not an act of war or spite. Revenge wasn't in this little cub's repertoire yet. It was Resque that made the plan and Nubia's job was to put it in motion. A long, thick piece of tree bark was laid across two breaks in the mountain sides along the path way to the drinking hole the cubs frequented and a vulture skull was filled with water mixed with crushed red berries for color and placed on top of the bark with a vine around the bark. The thought was when Poe came past on her way for water, Nubia would yank on the vine and bark would break, dropping the skull and dyed water right onto her. Now all the cub had to do was wait. But the sun was so comforting it was like laying in her mother's warm fur with a full belly for a long nap. Before she knew it, Nubia was sleeping on the job! With some luck, the little cub's ears flicked at the sound of her sister coming down along the path. But she was so close! As quietly as she could, the little red head jumped to her feet and grabbed the vine and waited for the right moment. With each step Poekei took Nebia's heart jumped farther up her chest cavity and up farther into her throat until finally Neb jerked the vine and felt no tension. In her slumber, birds had picked at the dead vine for scraps to make their nests from. This plot was foiled, Poe was too far by this point. Back to the drawing board she went, begrudgingly flicking her red tuffed tail along the way. If you have read the rules: You complete me!
