In her attempt to escape, Anael missed the Arbok rearing back and spitting out the Sludge Bomb. Kaya tried to stop it with Fairy Lock but the energy dagger slipped straight through the blob of poisonous goop. "Anael! Aura Sphere!" He called, forcing the Togekiss to spin back once more. Their course was thrown off by the action and, even as his Togekiss loosed a tracking blast of Aura at the Arbok's Sludge Bomb to counterattack she and Kaya hit the wall, tumbling to the floor in a heap.

"Anael! Get back up, we need to stay on our toes here. Use Air Cutter to keep them back." He told her, referring to the many snakes around them. Anael nodded and generated multiple blades of air in her open wings, sending them flying through the room as fast as she was able, one volley after another, hoping to dispose of as many of them as she could.

Kaya drew Rise and prepared to fight off Arbok.

The Azumarill stopped its roll again, this time to cry in pain as the electricity flowed through its body. "You can't stop us! Roll roll roll!" The kid shouted...but his Azumarill did not roll. The aquatic rabbit just laid on the ground motionless, moaning as he succumbed to complete paralysis. "Zuzu, what wrong!? Bad kid did this! Bad bad bad!" He chanted.

-----

Amaranth's next opponent would soon take the stage. She was a blonde hair blue eyed woman wearing a heavy fur coat and hat, despite being on a tropical island. "Tam comrade." She said with a thick accent. "Ready for battle, da?" The woman said with a smile as she withdrew an Ultra Ball.

"The next battle will be against Amaranth and Katenka. You may both begin." The ref declared, Katenka wasting no time to throw her ball out onto the ground below, releasing her Beartic into the pit.

-----

The Ekans were fought off for the time being but it appeared as time went on more appeared, there was no way they could keep this up, no matter how easily dispatched there was just too many.

Then there was the Arbok that insisted on a battle to the end, the snake hissing at Kaya, spitting up another Sludge Bomb, now at him.

"Aaah!" A loud scream shot up into the air as the Mawile and its trainer had to deal with the Earthquake now rattling the building to its core. The mist would quickly clear off from its disguising of the Mawile across from the Throh, where she was currently collapsed onto the ground and letting out a low moan. Its large mouth was covering its body, preventing the weakened Pokemon from struggling to her feet. A few seconds would pass before the Mawile Hybrid snapped into action with a shout of, "Play Rough!" From within the crowd, firing herself like a projectile that glowed bright pink, was Lacuna and her aim that was set to smash the Fighting type off the ground.

"Wha...?" Tristen spoke up, staring in surprise. He actually stopped? The momentum died. No time to relish in it, it was time to capitalize. The boy shook his head, getting out of his trance. He needed to get Galvantula back on better footing and what better way to do it than how Tristen was first greeted to Galvantula. "Galvantula! Giga Drain!"

The spider leaped up and latched on to Azumarril, giving a big spidery hug. The Azumarril would then be started to get his energy sucked on.

Kaya swung Rise hard and fast, slicing through the Sludge Bomb, holding his breath and the toxins within the odd membrane that held them in place washed over him. He was so thankful to be part Steel-type now, knowing that he was resistant to becoming poisoned from this.

Before he could be attacked again, he forged a key in hand and plunged it into Arbok's body while it was still close, twisting it within with quite a bit of force, hopefully shutting it down for a while at least so he could escape as he jumped onto Anael's back once more.

The Throh would get up no more as it was thrown to the ground, completely defeated. Its trainer just laughed in response, turning her Pokemon and walking up to Leslie, giving her a big hug. "You're alright kid! Go far!" She said, patting the girl on the head before walking away.

"Another dazzling win!" The host cried out, the crowding clapping in response. It seems they didn't enjoy that battle as much, probably wasn't showy enough. "So, what type next? I hope you won't take the easy road anymore. The crowd seems...apathetic." She said with a snicker.

-----

"No! Zuzu! Go away bad spider! Shoo!" The kid cried but it was no good, the Giga Drain was super effective against the Water type and thanks to its paralysis it was in no shape to resist the Galvantula and thus it was sucked dry, unable to fight anymore. "But Zuzu strong..." The kid sniffeld as he recalled his Pokemon.

"Growlie! Make hot!" The kid almost screamed, hurling a ball onto the field, releasing an Arcanine which immediately let loose a Flamethrower at Galvantula.

-----

The Arbok hissed in pain as it was stabbed by the attack, the snake fall over in pain, in no condition to pursue. That said the Ekans numbers continued to increase and were jumping at the intruders relentlessly. They needed to get out of here and now, especially before the Arbok recovered.

Leslie looked at the bored crowd before crowing out with, "Bring me a Ground type! Lets make it interesting!" While Lacuna didn't have a chance to recover much from the dueling with the Throh, but she was still trucking. Now, who was next?

Returning to his attempt to escape, Kaya and Anael rose toward the ceiling, the Togekiss using Extreme Speed once again to blast out of the room. "How much worse could this get?" Kaya asked, knowing he shouldn't. Tempting fate was never a good idea after all. After what felt like forever, the duo finally found the exit and shot through it. Into what remained to be seen for the moment.

Well, there goes the crutch, Tristen thought. With that out of the way, then maybe things will go smoother sailing. A thought that loomed until the Arcanine came out for battle. "Uh-oh..." With the Flamethrower let loose, anything that Galvantula got from the Azumarrill, and then some, was gone in a hurry in a flaming inferno. "That's...bad..." Tristen said.

Tristen had to recall the fried electric spider, lamenting over that it was maybe too good to be true. Still though, it was evened up now. Perhaps Tristen could get the advantage. "Dragonite!" Tristen shouted, tossing out the Pokeball out for battle.

In a flash of light, the ball lit up, revealing the massive dragon that towered over the Arcanine. "ARRRO!" It roared out, looking down at the Arcanine.

"Dragonite! Dragon Claw!" He shouted.

"ARRO!" The Dragonite spoke up, swiping hard at the flaming pup.

"A ground type! How audace!" The host declared, the crowd muttering among themselves, Leslie could even hear a few people call her crazy. "Here is your Full Restore and now let's have a Ground type user take the stage and knock little miss down a few pegs!" She said, giving Leslie a wink to say 'I didn't really mean that'.

A young woman would take the stage this time, seemed like it was mostly females in here any ways. She appeared to be in her early twenties which was still considered young by most. "Like heeey!" She squeeled, taking out a Premier Ball, tapping the button on the front and releasing a Sandshrew, the little mouse wearing some type of purple gem stone around its neck like a necklace. "What a cutie, huh?" She smiled.

"Alright girls, if you're both ready, then let the cat fight commence!" The host shouted.

-----

Kaya would now find himself in a small room with a single healing machine at the center along with a shelf containing medicines and bandages. Beyond the machine was another curtain, of course. It would appear he was free to heal his Pokemon and rest here.

(Roll again.)

-----

The Arcanine cried in pain as it took the full force of the Dragon Claw, stumbling backwards from the force of the attack. "Growlie, Extremespeed!" The kid cried, his dog giving off one quick bark before ramming the Dragonite in the blink of an eye.

"ARO!" It yelped, getting smashed back a bit, his feet skidding and scratching the ground.

"...I really need to learn something like that..." For that matter, he wished his Dragonite knew something like that as well. One thing that he quickly learned is that the rangers originally trained Dragonite not only to transport other rangers, let alone a whole lot of heavy things, its strength grew near proportionately to it, as such the rangers figured to teach Dragonite more of the powerful moves Dragonite could learn, things such as Hyper Beam and Dragon Claw. Intimidation through unbridled brute force. Granted, Dragonite while could be nimble, wasn't THAT nimble right now, not anywhere near on the par of this Arcanine, or probably any other one, at least.

"Um, Dragonite! Hurricane!" Tristen shouted.

"ARRRRROOO!" The Dragonite shouted. Tiny wings it may have compared to rest of its body, but it stirred up one serious storm on the battlefield.

Kaya arrived in the room with the healing machine and jumped down from Anael's back, recalling her to her Ball for the moment, placing it along with Afreda and Tessarae's into the slots on the machine, activating it. He waited patiently as the machine did it job, allowing his Pokemon's energy to be restored and minor wounds to be treated.

Once it was done, he removed the various Pokeballs and released Anael and Afreda, checking them over for damages. He noticed Anael still had a few small bite marks on her right wing and retrieved a bottle of tincture and some bandages. Applying the medicine, he wound the bandages around the base of her wing to keep it protected and made sure not to hinder her movement any more than he absolutely had to.

Other than that, he couldn't see any other damage to his Pokemon really. Afreda had a leaf stuck in her chest but it was just wedged between one of her gems and the stone surrounding it so it was easy to remove and didn't appear to have caused lasting damage or discomfort. With that sorted out, he retrieved one final item. Giving Anael and drink of an Antidote and taking a drink, himself, just to be on the safe side, he returned to the Pokemon to their Pokeballs and walked through the next curtain, refreshed and ready to fight again if he had to.

The Hurricane was so fierce that not only did it send Arcanine flying into the air Tristen could see that several caps wore by audience members were sailing through the air. The little kid fell backwards onto his back as the wind blew, looking up and watch his Arcanine fly over head. "Growlie!" He cried as his Arcanine hit the ground in the middle of the crowd, out cold. "No no no! Return!" He huffed, recalling his Pokemon and rubbing his nose in anger.

"I'm not defeated yet bad boy!" He insisted, tossing out his last Pokeball, releasing a Swellow. "Big Bird, Steel Wing!" The boy commanded, his bird dashing through the air towards the Dragonite, aiming to knock it with one of its steel hardened wings.

-----

Kaya would find himself in another 'snake' pit, if you called this one a snake that is. "Ooonix!" Roared a mighty rock snake as Kaya entered its 'cave', which was really a room filled with rocks and designed to look like a cave. As soon as the Onix say Kaya it swung its mighty tail at the man, attempting to crush him with a Slam.
PostPosted: Mon Mar 30, 2015 6:34 pm

When Kaya entered the room, he started to call out Primrose before he remember he had neither her nor Nigel on him her. Time to think on his feet. He didn't know any Steel-type attacks of his own yet to use here so who was th net best option on him?

"Anael, Aura Sphere!" The Togekiss appeared from her ball blasting an orb of condensed Aura at Onix's tail before grabbing Kaya and zooming aside. After putting some distance between them, she hovered between her trainer and the Onix while Kaya looked around for the way out.

Tristen stared in confusion for a second. He knew that Dragonite was pretty strong, but he didn't think that it would have finished off Arcanine like that. Maybe that Azumarril really was a crutch after all. Tristen started to feel pretty good about this. With the Swellow out, Dragonite got ready once again.

With the Steel Wing coming once more, Dragonite stood his ground, but the impact made him stumble backwards a bit. "ARO!" That did sting quite a bit.

"Dragonite! Use Dragon Claw!" The Electrike hybrid spoke up.

Dragonite kicked off the ground and gave chase to the Swellow, his claw once again showing off the draconian fury. "ARRO!" He then swiped hard towards the bird.
