Kyouji began riding through the town streets on his skateboard as he would pass through shops and stands that would sell treats, items for trainers, and even people who would offer tips on what to do for their pokemon, and how to treat them on any situation. Kyouji listened to them, even though it was pretty second nature to him. Kyou remembered his father's teachings when having him train some of his pokemon whenever he was on break. That was before times went crazy and he lost his parents as an end result. Salt that party hit him like a ton of bricks. They both always talked about how much fun and adventurous it would be for Kyou to become a trainer and start off exploring. The funny thing was, ge never thought it would end up like this in this freezing hell hole of a region where it's always cold!! How does his aunt live like this!? The thought soon escaped him as Shinx came out of his pokeball, and would rub his head against Kyouji. Byakko, what's wrong? You don't usually just jump out like that. Hmm? He saw the little Shinx motion to the stand with the Oran berry. Oh, you're hungry? Well if that's the case... Kyouji would take some of his money out to pay for the oran berry which he would feed to his Shinx. The little blue lynx pokemon would happily eat it as he would smile at the taste. Weekday did the berries taste like to humans that the pokemons loved so much. Just at that moment the bell began to ring and so many of the people, trainers especially began to crowd into the tent. s**t, the time!! Byakko, we're gonna be late!! Get back in your pokeball! Kyouji said in a panicked tone as he quickly returned the Shinx. At that moment he began to get a running start before riding his skateboard through the crowds getting some angry remarks. Sorry about that!! Kyou kept on as he skated. Good thing he got to the camp. There were plenty of not large crowds of people that wetter signing up. Oh boy... 'Scuse me... sorry... just gotta... shimmy through. He made it past the crowd, and found the other people signing up to be trainers. Some the same age, some noticably older than him, and even the people dressed in a very colorful choice who definitely gave off that gym leader boss battle feel. As it was Kyouji's turn to sign up, he would see the questions. They really hit hard. Why does Kyouji want to be a trainer after everything that pokemon as a whole have done to him? His father's dead, his mother disappeared, and Kyouji is left with a Shinx. He finally realized and would write his answer. Even though he'll strive to be the league's champion, he'll become a Pokémon Detective. Whoever did this can't go unchecked, and who's to say that others won't need help too? Done... He would mutter, handing in his paper.
Thanks to Preston's brilliant Tyrogue Scrap they had ended up at a little green shop. The old woman was a herbalist and was very friendly and helpful. She had iced Kana's leg and helped Usui find some White willow bark. That would help with the swelling as well as help ease the pain a bit. Usui made sure to buy plenty of the herb seeing as the two had a tendency to get hurt. He would also buy some Mullein, Peppermint, Yarrow, and some Teaberry. As Usui did herb shopping he noticed that Preston and his Turogie had dissapeared but they later came back. Bringing noodles with them they all had lunch together.
Which was nice cause it gave them a chance to get to know eachother. Kakashi and Hikaru seemed to take a liking to Scrap pretty quickly. Kakashi often jumping up in Kana's lap to make sure she was okay. As the day went on the three of them would trade backgrounds.
It sounded like the festivities where about to start so they all agreed to go check it out. Preston and Scrap took the lead as Usui kept close to Kana and helped her get around. At some point Usui toled Hikaru to keep an eye on preston and Scrap. He stopped and knelt down in front of Kana "Hop on my back it will be easier for us to keep up with Presto. And like the old lady at the shop said you should not walk on it to much." Kana smiledand claimed on his back carefully. "Okay just dont push yourself to hard if you need a break from carrying me around tell me. It will not hurt me to walk around some you know." Usui smiled and stood up as soon as Kana was ready to go. Hikaru came back and lead them to Preston and Scrap. Once they caught up they were in a big tent that had displays of everything one needed for beginning their travels as a trainer.
As they followed Preston through the tent they would stop every now and then to look at something. They would buy a few things not really needing to get to much in the way of supplies. They were planning on being in town for the next day or two anyways so if they forgot something or could not find it today they could always go put later. As a man with green hair started to give a speech Usui would stop and stand next to Preston with Kana still on his back. "Usui once we get checked in to a hotel you should probably go get our supplies from whereever it is you stashed them. I hope you put them somewhere no one could see them. If someone were to find our supplies and take off with them we would have to start over from scratch. "
COO COO COO. A nearby hoothoot cooed into the daytime, only to the response of snores blaring even louder than the first. A few minutes passed by, when the sleeping female's eyes began fluttering, slowly opening to reveal the beautifully lit sky. Her eyes scanned the sky..late..late..LATE?! Springing into action, Leah quickly hopped out of bed, managed to get dressed in under 3 minutes, brushing her long hair soon after. That took well over an hour and a half, great. This day was already going super well..NOT. Peanut was laying beside her, playing with her little milk bottle which was one of her favorite things, as odd as it sounds. She loved that bottle more than anything. Another day..another..wait. Leah nearly forgot, every trainer was supposed to meet up, teams were being formed! And how bad would it look for one to arrive late?? She'd be frowned upon most certainly! "Why didn't you wake me, Peanut?? Damn, my pokemon is more responsible than me." Leah frowned to herself, packing all her things together back in her pachirisu themed bookbag.
Once she had everything back in her bag, she threw a pokeball in the air, Nikko appearing from within. "Dear Nikko, would you be able to get me to the square as quickly as possible?" Nikko glanced at Leah with a look like she was challenging his speed, lowering his back so that she could hop on, accepting her request wholeheartily. "Ahh, thank you sweetie!!" She answered with such bliss, squatting to sit in a comfortable position while Peanut ran into her bag. Once she was on him, he flapped his large wings, taking airborne to the sky. The wind in her hair, the freedom, boy did she love flying on her sweet precious pokemon boy! He was a little cutie, ever since he was a noibat. He always did love challenging himself, and was always super sweet and protective. She could always count on him.
Soon, they finally made it to the square where all other trainers were gathered. Anndd, she probably missed most of the speeches and other things but atleast she seemed to make it to the part where they get paired up. On top of that, they were still giving away Pokemon to noobies. Anyway; if you're going to be late, who cares bout being fashionably late, right? Lowering to the ground slowly, Nikko clawed at the ground, allowing Leah to get off him and return him back to his pokeball, the light capturing his presence, and dismissing him soon enough. Boy was it crowded here. Pacing her way through the crowds, she tried to inch herself through so she could watch and listen. Peanut poked her head out, noticing a large crowd, quickly diving back into the bag. She really didn't like large crowds, she was kind of shy when it came to that. Ohh, she just couldn't wait! This whole event was just so exciting!!
It appeared he had gone too fast, but Arys found himself alone as he followed the crowd towards the town square. The speech from former champion Dylan Beck played over loudspeakers, and excited Arys greatly. Upon arrival, he saw the tent that had been set up for the event, as well as a couple of trainers he had met earlier. As the invitation was made for trainers to make their way towards the tent, Arys put his hands in his pockets and made a nervous sigh. Feeling a tug at his pant leg, he looked down to see Jaws give an excited look to her trainer. Adventure. A break from work. Everything the pair had been craving for months. This was their chance. "You drive a hard bargain, you know that?" he muttered at the young Mawile, patting her head. The action got a cheerful chattering from the pokémon, and with another, slightly more enthusiastic exhalation, Arys made his way to the tent.
Inside, Arys noticed some trainers were still arriving. He noticed the Preston fellow from earlier arrive, to which he gave a nod as he perused the stalls. It was quite a setup; the ceremony masters had certainly made a good use of the space. Making his way to one stall, Arys saw forms declaring the status of new trainers on the island. He grabbed a pen from the desk, reading it over and filling it out appropriately. During this time, he looked around and saw several figures on the right side of the tent with regal presentation. Curious, he asked the stall attendant and learned that they were Gym Leaders from around the island. Interesting. He finished signing and moved to another stall providing poké balls. He picked one up, and spent some time learning what they were and how they worked. "Interesting. This could certainly come in handy, couldn't it?" he asked Jaws. Getting a hesitant but curious sound from her, Arys pocketed the device and thanked the attendant for their time.
Arys finally made his way to the stage where Dylan was providing younger trainers with some of the 'starter' pokémon. So these were supposed to be the Professor's cream of the crop? He smiled as some of the other trainers greeted their new friends with glee, but suddenly realized that Jaws was not in her usual place by his side. He looked around and winced as her noticed Jaws had made her way on stage. She was marvelling at a cool-looking Magby, who seemed both intrigued and put off by the friendly Steel-type. Arys in embarrassment, walked up on stage with the others and picked her up. "Heh...uhh, sorry about that. She's just so curious."
Well, things seemed to be going pretty well after that speech. Letting out a soft sigh of relief as the big part had finished, he looked out into the crowd. There definitely seemed to be a fair share of kids and teenagers who were here to start their journey around the region. He also recognized a fair share of faces among the crowd as people who were Gym Leaders during his time as champion or even people he had fought against to get to that position. A very faint smile crossing his lips, he felt very much at ease knowing that these kids would be watched over by capable hands.
Things might have been going rather smoothly for the most part, but he wasn't getting any bites so far when it came to the starters he was suppose to be giving out. Glancing at the youngsters, then at the tents, he wondered if kids now in days just accepted whatever their parents gave them to start with. Back when he was younger, a lot of kids would have jumped on the chance to get a free Pokemon...Right? He didn't really remember paying much of the other kids mind though back then, so it was a lot more foggy than he wanted to admit. He'd at least pretend that he could remember that then.
Turning his head back to face the starters, there was another Pokemon in the mix now. There was a Mawile that was very interested in the Magby. Where in the world did this one come from? Hearing the Mawile's trainer apologize, he looked down at the mechanic. Was this someone who was starting out? That was perfect. "It seems your partner has taken quite the interest in Magby. Perhaps you'd wish to take them along," He not so stealthily proposed, pulling the Magby's Pokeball out. It was up to them if they'd take the offer or not, but it was before them. Now, all he needed was for five more individuals to take the other five Pokemon off his ha-...Wait, five? Wasn't there only five to begin with?
His eyes darting over to the Cyndaquil that had climbed onto the stage, he wasn't sure if this Pokemon was there before or not. He could have sworn it wasn't, but he wasn't going to say anything about it. "If you take 'em, don't forget to introduce yourself to the region that'll be rooting you on," He told Arys, still awaiting their response. Though he wasn't going to address it, he was certain this Pokemon must've been the one the Professor told him was already given away. So then, why the hell was it on the stage now? He didn't even have their Pokeball.

Upon the crowd dispersing somewhat when the speech was over, Preston looked back at the twins. He wasn't quite sure what hotel they were talking about, as he didn't expect there to be many 5-star joints between towns. Then again they were from the area, maybe they knew better. Also he really was eavesdropping on their conversation. That said, he cleared his throat.
*ahem* "Well, I WAS going to apologize for disappearing again, I promise it won't be a regular thing, but if you felt like getting your stuff, I could take Scrap and sign us all up with the Gym Leaders like Beck said. You guys probably know Citra, but at least we can tag along with them for a bit, maybe learn a thing or two. Not gonna lie, a guide system sounds pretty sweet. What do you think?" He could only wait for an answer, and honestly he wanted to, but he was literally being pulled away by his Pokemon. He simply followed rather than fight a Fighting type, but he didn't much appreciate being manhandled. Hurriedly he called back to the twins, "I'll meet you back here!"
After filling out papers for himself and the twins, Preston splurged a little bit of the money he had saved to commemorate the occasion. He figured being a trainer wouldn't be THAT expensive, certainly not if the prices in this region were anything like the ones he was seeing in this homely little town. Scrap had been good about keeping cool while keeping an eye out, but being in the middle of the noise was a lot that he wasn't used to and a lot to keep track of. He nearly didn't hear the skateboarding kid that came up from behind, doing his best not to run into anyone. The Tyrogue just jumped out of the way and was very near to giving the kid an earful as he skated away, but as he looked back to his Trainer, he saw that Preston wasn't didn't see much of the interaction. Scrap disappointingly attempted to to get someone to notice, but aside from a distant "Hey!", there wasn't very much he could've done. He sighed and dropped his shoulders as he came to his trainer's side. Preston could tell something was up when he was nudged by his Pokemon, looking a little overwhelmed. He sighed and rubbed his shoulders. "Sorry, bud. C'mon, let's go find the others..."
The boy though Scrap had been behaving pretty well up until this point, but he didn't want to jump to any conclusions yet. Scrap meanwhile just felt like he had to keep moving, but inadvertently pulled Preston up in front of Mr. Beck just as the mechanic from earlier was dealing with a infatuated Mawile. Preston didn't mean to look up and make eye contact with the two larger Pokemon onstage as well as their ex-Champion Trainer, but alas. He gave an awkward wave to the man and went to walk away before looking towards the Elekid. The Electric type, for all Preston could tell, even at her young age had an air of queen bee about her. Preston tried to focus on getting back with Scrap but he couldn't help but catch her eye. As the beefy Electivire stood behind casting its hulking shadow over all, three sets of eyes somehow shared a moment between them.
The Trainer admired the contrast of what was and what could one day be. The Elekid sparked her prongs and shot a sassy stare towards the Tyrogue before looking Preston over. The Electivire seemed to sense potential in both, and gave an encouraging glance to the two of them.
Preston almost felt shivers down his spine from the split second encounter, and could help but share a grin with the young Electric type. After looking to see if the twins were anywhere near, he looked up to Dylan and pointed. "Anyone take the yellow one yet?"

Seth had registered himself at the square as a trainer guide and after that he decided to have a look at the other square where trainers would be given their Pokemon and registered. This would be his first time as a trainer guide. He wasn't sure how it would go between whom he'd be teamed up with, since personalities varied of course, but at least he was confident he had enough experience to guide new trainers with their training and their journey through Citra. As he wandered to the other square he looked aside when he heard the sound of wheels and looked in the direction of the skater just in time to jump aside. Once they passed Seth looked at them heading to the new trainer area and he sighed a bit before he chuckled softly. "What amazing energy." he muttered.
Perhaps some would take offense to the boy, but since he didn't get hurt, Seth didn't worry about it. As he arrived at the appointed square for trainers, the champion was already on his speech and he allowed his eyes to wander over the new trainers, or he presumed most would be, noticing there were young and old ones. It was an interesting view. He started very young himself, like most, but over time he got less interested in being the champion and more into traveling around all the time. Still he remembered Dylan, he was one of the people he lost to. But the young man didn't harbor any bad feelings and he listened to their words with a fresh mind. They were definitely encouraging words for new trainers and Seth hoped they would take them to heart.

“It it okay it was my fault for stopping this time. I just figured me carrying Kana would be faster than her trying to walk around on her leg. I will go get the stuff myself Kana should probably just sit down for a little while. I was thinking it might be a good idea to sign up as well.” He watched as Scrap pulled him away. “Okay well see you soon!” he called after him. He then looks around for a place to let Kana sit and take a break. Spotting some tables and chairs he carries her over and sets her down “Hey let me barrow Kohaku he can help with carrying our supplies back.”
Kana smiled and reached in her pocket to grab a pokeball “Come on out Kohaku.” As the Alolan Ninetales emerged it placed it head in Kana's hands and gently pushed it head into hers. “Okay Kohaku I need to to go with Usui to help get our things.” The special ninetales walked over to Usui ready to go.”We should not take more than thirty minutes. We will see you soon” Usui waved then headed out with Kohaku. Kana smiled as she watched Hikaru takeoff flying after them. Then she looked down to see Kakashi getting ready to jump up on her lap. She smiled at the sweet Quilava and opened her arms to allow him to jump up on her. She watched people come and go as she waited for Usui and Preston to finish what they were doing.
Usui along with Kohaku and Hikaru were making good time as they headed out of town and towards the cliffs. Once there he would head a little farther down towards the trees and bushes where he had stashed away there things. He strapped Kana's pack along with her tent on Kohaku's back then placed his pack and tent on his own back. Hikaru would grab the food and drinks and take off flying back towards town. With Usui and Kohaku following right behind him. Once in town they would head to the in where they discoverer that there are no openings. “Well guys looks like we are going to camp out tonight.” He smiled and the three of them started to head back to where they left Kana.

Chuckling softly when the young girl asked Hayate if he ran one of the gyms, the man nodded his head as his gaze flickered between the two young children. He seemed to have completely forgotten that he was looking for his own young siblings, slowly following after Himeko and Arys as they headed for where it sounded as if Dylan had finally arrived in town. Grinning to himself, the Gym Leader wondered how the other fella had been, unsure when he had last seen the previous Champion of Citra. As he kept a watchful eye on the two visitors to the region, the young boy was moving further ahead, distancing himself from the adult and young girl. Ah well, he couldn't get into any danger with how much was going on around them.
Entering into the square where everyone was gathering, Hayate's dark eyes watched Himeko carefully, making sure that the girl safely got to the tent where new trainers were to fill out a form. He knew some might question what the form was for, but not many were prepared for Citra and the dangers that lurked once you began your travels through the region. Taking notice of Arys also filling out a form, Hayate nodded almost proudly to himself before he made his way closer towards the stage. A familiar head of green stood at it's center, his Pokemon with him and the starters for trainers standing in front of him as they waited to be chosen. It seemed the selection had already lessened some, wait..
Following Dylan's gaze, Hayate's eyebrows raised as he watched the Cyndaquil that had climbed up onto the stage. That was quite an interesting sight, but he was sure many Pokemon were intrigued to see what was going on, that or just friendly to introduce themselves to the Pokemon or Human standing on the stage. Chuckling to himself, Hayate raised his hand up, giving a small wave to try and catch the attention of the previous champion. He could have always followed the fire starter's lead and climbed up onto the stage, but, instead, he just waited to be noticed or not.
He had other's he wanted to see too while he was here, wondering what other leader's had made the trip down to Tosach Town. He knew that Brigitte had decided against coming, catching some virus that left her bedridden. She had been so excited to come too, to see all of the new trainers that would soon be facing her at the Muir City Gym. But, her husband had to practically pin his wife into bed just so that she didn't make her situation worse by fighting her illness just to make the short trip.
Crossing his arms, Hayate glanced back over his shoulder, trying to catch any other familiar faces.
Arys stammered on his words, looking at Dylan, then to the pokémon on the stage, and then to the gathering crowd of people in front of the stage. Already, cheers and applause was starting to build, inside of the tent and outside. Oh yeah. There was a loudspeaker. He cast a look at Jaws, who just shrugged her shoulder's and smiled at him. "How do you get me into these situations?" Arys thought to himself as he stood up. He cleared his throat and tried to regain his usual cool composure. "U-uh, yeah! I mean," he continued, looking at the poké ball in the champion's hand, "I guess if they're getting along it couldn't hurt to take him along?" He graciously accepted the poké ball from Dylan and was about to escape before being encouraged to introduce himself to the crowd.
A little sweat. A little sweat was forming. Well. If this wasn't the start to the adventure he'd been craving for quite some time, what else would be? Arys gave a sigh, adjusted his hat and stepped up to the microphone. "Erm, hell-" Arys stopped as a loud screech came from the speaker. Feedback; too close. He backed away and tried again. "Good day, everyone; hope everyone's enjoying the weather! My name is Arys De Locke, and I have signed up to be a Citra Region pokémon trainer! If anything, it promises to be a toiling endeavour, but my pokémo..." he paused. He raised the poké ball to the Magby, and remembering the tips from the stall from earlier, hit the button on the front. In a flash of bright white energy, the Magby dematerialized into the ball. Jaws jumped up into Arys' arm and gave an energetic wave and "Wiiilllleee!!!" to the crowd. Arys gave a real smile and returned to the mic. "...but my pokémon and I are ready for anything!" He backed away from the mic with a parting wave, subtly (but desperately) moving towards the steps of the stage.
The attention on the boy on stage, Dylan looked at him with eager eyes. The audience for the most part was about the same. He didn't hate this feeling. No, it reminded him of his Champion days even more than before. That feeling of excitement as everyone was watching what would happen next and the sensation of knowing what was to come, but still feeling surprised when it happened! Oh that was an absolutely delightful thing, but that wasn't the point of the day. No, it was moments like this. A trainer starting out and choosing their partner Pokemon. It was a nostalgic thing that just about anyone couldn't help themselves from enjoying!
Upon seeing the lad take the ball, he watched them take their steps up to the microphone and attempt to greet everyone. With the loud sound of the screech of the speakers ringing out, he didn't seem to react at all to it. That was mainly because of how many times he had done that himself as Champion. It was like he was cursed for a while by the microphone Gods to cause that, until he finally lost his title. When the boy began to introduce himself to the region, there was a bit of confidence to his words. It was loosely masking something though, wasn't it? The embarassment of what he did maybe? Either way, he began to clap at the end. "Thank you Arys! We hope your journey goes well," He said as he clapped.
With the crowd's cheering coming to a brief end, he looked out into the audience to see who was next. Luckily for him, there was a very eager volunteer, who had his eyes on one of the Pokemon he had bred. This time it was a blonde haired teen, expressing immediate interest in the Elekid that was on the stage. Man, people really were interested the children of his ace members today, weren't they? "Not at all! Come on up and introduce yourself," He said as he reached behind his belt. Pulling the Elekid's Pokeball off, he held it in his hand with a smile upon his face. At this rate, they were going to run out of starters. All that was left was the Chespin, Piplup and Smoochum.
Did leave him wondering something though... Who did the Cyndaquil belong to?

Scrap had snuck away by the time Preston was brought back by the squeal of the mic feedback. The trainer winced once and turned back around to find the Tyrogue missing. He scanned the crowd once as Arys gave his attempted speech and not seeing his Tyrogue, gave the mechanic a round of applause along with the Champion and anyone who wasn't going about their business. The Elekid shot a wink to the Magby before he was called to his Pokeball and chirped something to the Chespin about Jaws. Preston climbed up on stage to meet the Electric type properly. He offered her a fist bump, and wasn't shocked to be shocked by first contact, sharing a chuckle with the Pokemon as he was presented with her Pokeball.
As soon as the Champion asked Preston to speak however, he froze. He glanced to the Elekid and was pleased that he could take her, but he didn't want to speak to the crowd. Her expression told him he was on his own. "Oh, I-I don't really think that-"
A round of applause similar to the one he took part in rose behind him, causing him to scoff. Really? he thought. Oh, me... If you insist...
He got up and stepped up to the microphone, luckily not receiving a feedback screech. About half the crowded square was listening to him, the rest moving between the two tents. "Hi there," he began with a tentative tone. "I'm Preston, I'm new here, and I chose this Elekid... Sparx." Motioning to the Electric type sparked something in her eye and between her prongs. She grinned. He grinned, cleared his throat and gestured to the crowd. "I wanna thank the Professor, the region, and the people of Citra for welcoming me. My goal is to find my path as a Trainer, and I hope to do right by my team!" He tried to keep it concise while resisting the impulse to pump his fist, and it was likely for the best. The crowd gave another bit of applause as Preston nodded a thanks to Mr. Beck and shook his hand, tagged the Pokeball to his belt and left the stage with his newest team member behind him.
As Preston walked back through the crowd to the last time he saw Kana and Usui, he thought he was lost for a moment before seeing Kana sitting with her Quilava in her lap and, wouldn't you know it, Scrap sitting in the chair opposite her, swinging his legs. As soon as eye contact was made Scrap jumped off the chair to rush up to his Trainer, while Sparx ran forward to meet say hi. Another "friendly" shock was given to the Fighting type as Preston caught Kana's eye. His face flushed as he went to take a seat. "Don't say I was great up there. I'm okay with a microphone, but I'm no Dylan Beck. Made a new friend, though." He chuckled as his two Pokemon came back to further introduce Kana and Kakashi. "I assume Usui won't be much longer," he said, toying with an empty Pokeball in his hand. "How's the ankle?"

From her vantage point she really could not see much but the tops of the peoples heads on stage but her ears worked perfectly. As the loud screech emanated from the speakers Kana shrunk back in her seat and covered her ears with her hands. Kakashi shrunk back and buried his head against Kana's chest. After a second the screech stopped and Kana released her ears. Looking down at Kakashi she smiled and pet him to let him know it was all okay. The little guy looked back up at her and then turned around to lie back down. As Arys finished introducing himself to the crowd she joined in applause. Looking over she noticed Scrap heading their way so Preston must not be to far behind.
As the tyrogue came over and sat in the chair next to her she gave him a friendly pat on the head. After a little while another round of applause started, and then she heard Preston's voice. At first, he sounded a bit uncertain but as he went on he seemed to get a hang of it. She smiled when he was finished looking up at him when he made his way back over to them. “Okay I wont instead ill say good job.” Kakashi jumped off Kana's lap to meet the new pokemon kana watching with a smile on her face. “Yeah Usui, Kohaku, and Hikaru should not be to much longer. It is okay right now.”
As Usui, Hikaru, and Kohaku headed back Usui spotted a stand selling crepes and another one right next to it selling snacks for pokemon. He stopped and bought crepes for everyone then stopped and got some snacks for the pokemon. Then continued his way towards the tent to find the others. Kohaku was the first one to make it back to Kana and Preston pushing his big head into her face he rubbed his head against hers. Then Hikaru was next followed by Usui. “Hey guys So I have good news and bad news. Bad new is that there is no room at the hotel so we are camping tonight. Good new is that I brought some snacks.” he said handing a crepe to Kana then Preston. Hikaru and Kohaku noticed the new pokemon going over to play. “I also have snacks for the pokemon.” he said as he hands out snacks to all the pokemon. "So um where did this guy come from?" He asked giving the Elekid a snack.

The vibe going around the plaza was a mixture of nervous, perhaps even anxious but also of excitement and eagerness to be on the way as well as cheer. As he walked around the place the vibe was almost palpable. A gentle smile formed on Seth's lips as he took in the people around the area. It was definitely a mixture that could be explained as explosive, but in a good way. Turning his attention to something more serious though, he slipped his hand into his breast pocket he pulled out a folded piece of paper, unfolded it and his gaze went from his surroundings to the paper in his hand. It had some instructions of where to meet up with his assigned trainers. His first group to guide around Citra. "Kyouji and Leah, hmm. I wonder how they will be." he muttered as he moved to the area where he would wait for them.
Seth glanced at the pictures next to their name which would help him identify them. As he arrived at the meeting spot he folded the paper back up and put it back in his pocket for now. For a moment he contemplated letting his partners out of their pokeballs but considering the crowd on the one plaza he decided against it for now. They were all quite sizable after all. The smallest would be his faithful Noctowl but they were probably asleep right now. Seth tried to bother his pokemon as few as possible during their sleeping hours. Unless there was a fight at hand, at which they all preferred to take part. The young man leaned back against a nearby low wall and watched the people before him to see if his travel companions were coming by already.

Qiyana nodded, "Yes! Right onto Amy so she can get you down!" Qiyana gave a thumbs up and waited for the girl to comply. Her ninetails was plenty strong, and that was part of her ninetails job anyway! Qiyana brought the girl to a more blocked off area and had her ninetails spread her tails out to obscure the view back here. Qiyana took off her coat and had Titanya put it on. She had plenty of her own skin showing, so this was comfortable for her still. Qiyana offered up a chance to get the girl some more clothes, because those clearly wouldn’t do anymore. Qiyana proceeded to introduce herself and giggled at the other girls' description of herself. She tilted her head and looked at her ninetails, "Hot….Yoga?" She wasn’t sure what she meant. It took a moment of staring at amy for the gym leader to snap her fingers. "You thought I meant a regular gym!? Oh...no...no no dear. I am the eight gym leader for your pokemon journey. You know...pew pew, fight fight, success, gym badge given?" Qiyana reached down into her belt and pulled out a badge for her to see, "Oh my..if you don’t know what these are...we have quite a lot to get you to understand dear girl!" Qiyana was suddenly worried about the girls pokemon journey if she didn’t understand the eight gyms and the pokemon journey.
Qiyana put the badge away and nodded, "Sure is!" She said motioning in a general direction. “You’re a new trainer! That is okay, I will try and explain all I can while we get you some more clothes, come come." Qiyana made sure her coat was classped closed before she led the girl off to one of the town's many shops. She proceeded to explain the gym battles, the journey she had signed up for, and a few other details she was clearly missing. Qiyana made sure to not tell the girl any kind of limit and bought her plenty of clothes for the journey. Qiyana ran a successful business alongside being a gym leader, so she didn’t really think too much about spending on this new trainer here with her. She made sure to answer her questions and if she didn’t know it, she would find out.
Qiyana brought the girl to get a drink and something to eat before the announcement showed up. It was time! Qiyana shrugged, "Anything is possible!" She said in response to her question about the champion. They watched the announcement and Qiyana stood up, adjusting her coat. "uhm...you get who you pick! Or if yo uhad one before...you start with them." She tilted her head as Titanya reached for something, but found nothing. "Whatcha lookin for?" she asked. Qiyana bit her lip, "....Titanya...we’re going to have a serious discussion about you losing your pokemon. Come on..let’s see if they have it up there." She said patting her own pokeballs. She must be used to the weight, because she never misplaced her pokemon. She was surprised someone was even able to. Usually the new trainers were so obsessed they had a hard time not holding onto the pokeball.
Qiyana was due to take on people as a gym leader. She decided and basically told Titanya she was already stuck with her, but she was open to others. She made Titanya go ask the champion about her pokemon, and it seemed her cyndaquil was there. When she returned to her, Qiyana looked at Titanya and took the pokeball and held it out in front of her. "This is your partner. The one you take into the darkest dungeons or into danger. You are to always have your pokemons back, because they will have yours in turn. You will one day meet people who do not feel this way, they will think their pokemon are mere tools, and you will learn quickly that those types of people never find success. Always treat your pokemon correctly...and never lose your pokemon ever again, okay?" She was bubbly, she was happy, she was all these things, but she didn’t want Titanya to have a habit of misplacing her precious fire pokemon. She took the girl's hand and placed the pokeball in it and closed her fingers around it. "Always." She stood up straight and put her hands on her hips. "Now then! You are quite lucky to have a fire pokemon as a starter, you have the perfect gym leader at your side for mastering the art of fire types. Not only that, I can show you how to work around the weaknesses too, and when we get you more pokemon, I will help you there too." She looked around. "Lets see if there are any others who need a group...I like to be a guide."She said, taking Titanya off with her to go look for other members for the journey.
