The music video for "Sugar, We're Goin Down" kept playing on MTV. So when I had all the words memorized and could sing the song without music, I decided to buy From Under The Cork Tree. And I loved it. And of course, now I'm a huge fan, and have their other CDs and shtuff. ^_^

I liked the song Sugar, We're Going Down, but I refused to like Dance, Dance, or them in general. Anyway, not very long ago, my cousin was like: OMGFOB!!111. So, I decided to try the two latest albums. I didn't expect to actually like them, let alone enough to ask to borrow TTTYG from her. But, I did. 3nodding

Well it first started when I heard Sugar, We're Goin Down on the top 40 songs of the week in the US, like 2-3 years ago. I first thought it was an annoying song. D: But then, when I heard it a lot on the top 40 every week, I grew to like it. So I listened to more of their songs. And here I am. ;D

*is listening to Grenade Jumper*
Well, it's kinda complicated. See, I had this friend from out of state who liked them a few years back, after TTTYG came out but before FUTCT. So she let me listen to Take this To Your Grave, (I think it was Chicago Is So Two Years Ago or Homesick at Space Camp, the first one I heard.) I had never heard of them before, and I was like, OK, they're alright, nothing special. I didn't buy their CDs, but when I got my iPod I always had like 5 or 6 songs by them. Then I started listening to them a little more, but nothing major. So around February-ish, my friend became obsessed with Pete and then FOB, so I learned a lot about them and heard a lot more of their music. I bought IOH, and it all took off from there. Now I'm going to their concert on the Honda Civic tour... tomorrow!!! biggrin

Okay, at first I refused to like them...then I remember my uncle showing me the music video to SWGD (He said "Watch this. It's crazy." xD) and I thought "Eh, they're alright." so I just forgot about them and went on. Then I saw one of my old friends again (Yay! xD) and she was obsessed with them. So I decided to try to like them. I went to the mall, saw the big sign at Aeropostale, went in, bought IOH, fell in love with them, and here I am now. xD One more thing, at the first of this year my friend was at my house and I found a poster of Billie Joe Armstrong that I had. It was a big five foot poster that had a bunch of different people on it, and Pete was one of them. So I was like "I guess I kinda like him too..." so that started my obsession with Pete which led to everything else. I'm done now. xD

-your_Suicide_note- bury~me~in~memory GigaCami the vid for Sugar kept showing up on MTV, and I loved it. I started becoming a bigger fan when I met someone who knew them (I live in Chicago, and here, EVERYONE knows someone who knows someone who knows FoB). He just kept talking about them and saying how cool they were. So I bought Take This To Your Grave, and me and my cousins fell in L0VE. Then my cousin got CorkTree, and the rest is history. 3nodding I know 3 people who know them well 1 her aunt is there publissit(how ever you spell that) 1 met them on warped tour last year and the last 1 does'nt exactly know them but her uncle does so it pretty awesome I don't even live in the city I live like an hour away too but if you live any where in chicago land area you know some one who knows them it is awesome actaully 4 a few yeasrs back before they got really famous after a show or somthing that my freinds sister went to they were like the opening act or somthing like that and andy starts flirting with her annd she did'nt know he was I hate all the lucky poeple who got to meet them (not littary(can't spell))LUCKEYS!!!!!!!!! NO FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANNA MEET PETE!!!!! HE'S SO CUTE!!!!!!!!! Anyways, my story is when I first heard of them, I thought it was just a fad, and that people were such followers! Then I accidentally downloaded Dance, Dance on my ipod, listened to it. Then I was like, "That song's by them?! Lemme get more!" now I have like 13 million of them on my ipod, and I LOVE them... especially Pete Wentz heart heart heart heart heart heart heart heart

Well back in 6th grade when I was into rap I was watching the VMA's because I wanted to watch the nominee's for best breakthrough video. I watched Eminem's Mosh video and I liked it, then I saw the video for Sugar, We're Goin Down. I really liked the way Patrick sang, and liked the style of music. I went on liking rap for about a year and but FOB stayed my favorite rock band and the only rock band I liked. Eventually I started getting more into the Alternative Rock style and now I like bands like Cobra Starship, Panic! At The Disco, The Academy Is..., etc. I think Fall Out Boy contributed most to my change in the style of music I like. Now I hardly listen to rap anymore besides The Beastie Boys.
