Not exactly Naruto, but there was a question about the japanese word for "moster".. You might use "bakemono" which I believe is a kind of monster / demon / troll / evil thingie...

And I heard somewhere that the ending -ko meant something like "child of..." But don't take my word for it.

Bakemono does mean monster, but doesn't 'oni' work as well? For demon anyways..

And as for -ko, I think you're right about that also because I know 'Miyako' means Child of March, or child born in March, so to speak. 3nodding

I wanted to clear something up - UZUMAKI means spiral, and NARUTO are teh fish cakes in Ramen. It was getting to me ^^.

___ no da = It is ___. For example, saying, "JupiterK no da" means, "It is JupiterK's", it refering to an object, such as a headband or guitar.

'no' is a possesive, such as 'Kage Bunshin no Jutsu', literally means, 'Jutsu of the Shadow Replicas (or something).

HORRIFICS-
-chan = used for small children and very close friends, sometimes pet names between lovers
-kun = used for male friends/crushes
-sama or -nim = someone high above you in power or status
-san = like Mrs. or Mr., refurring to someone older than you. Also used for mountains (Fuji-san)
-sensei = teacher
-senpai = literally, 'one who came before'. Used for upperclassmen.
-hime = princess

it means 'screw', hence his trademark jutsu KAITEN!
