I recall there being a big deal that he sacrificed himself for the family. surprised He did, by choosing to go and let himself be given to el country de Cloud, at which point the Hyuuga activated the seal and killed him. If memory serves. *...goes to find anyway~* but they killed Hizashi AFTER he let himself get caught by the Kumogakure right? I think they did it so he wouldnt get tortured to death by those guys I think it was so they wouldn't learn the SeCrEt of Byakuugan. So basically the branch family is still hated? Um, they're less important than the main family, but they're not hated. Yes, Hiashi looked down on Neji before, but it's not like they have crazy disdain for the rest of their family.

Ahem! So, things have taken an unexpected twist wih Kakuzu and Hidan, and Kakashi has been whipping out the Chidoris left and right. Mind you, the likely hood that he'll die is tiny, but I wonder if Kakuzu or Hidan will? The fight has gotten more complicated now, and I have to wonder if they'll have a chance to run off, or if at least one of them will die. And if one of them does die, who will it be?

I'm not sure. As it was mentioned before, Kakashi's got a limit on chidori's (three?), and he already used two.
I'm betting on his third one either striking a killing blow, or leading up to one. I'm also gonna bet on Kakuzu dying, so Hidan can flee to home base and die later. Maybe something lame like ZEES EEZ FOR ASUMA SENSEI and Shikamaru cutting his head off again or something.

I can't see any of the younger generation characters dying, honestly. The older guys are at the ones at the most risk: Tsunade is, Gai is, Kurenai is, etc. Someone like Lee isn't going to die, just because it wouldn't make much sense-- Lee has a lot to prove, and it's kind of difficult to do that if you're dead.
Itachi is someone who's pretty much guaranteed to die. He could go out in a number of ways, but he clearly is going to. He massacred a whole clan; he's in line for some serious karma.
A lot of people think Sasuke will die, but I don't see it. It's mentioned a lot that team seven are similar to the sannin, but different in important ways. All of team seven are heavily invested and refuse to let Sasuke go, and that's going to play a big part. If Sasuke doesn't get redeemed, I'll be incredibly surprised.
Orochimaru will die, too. crying And, of course, all of Akatsuki are going to bite it sooner or later.
