Rune Seaker 3: Rise to Kings

((Hey. Chris and I have already roleplayed how we met. I'm now at Toru's castle, and already have my new weapons.))

Helena gingerly fingered her new bow. It felt alien in her hands, something that she wasn't used to having with her, but it's efficiency was vital in these new dangerous times. Reaching back, she pulled out one of her new arrows; the tail no longer had the black and burgunday feathers she was used to. They were blue and white. She wandered around the training area in the royal quarter for a while, getting used to her new armaments before deciding to make herself useful. She remembered Sogue being in contact with a Theestral named Vossler. Perhaps she would have some sort of job for her to take care of.

((lol...Vossler is a Clestral slightly diffrent, there like angelic humans with wings and halos.))
The castle was hecktick and on the move. Every soldier around seemed to have a job and was working visously to finish it by sun down. Off in the distance, form the tower veiw you could see the fire uproaring from the fight that had just begun at the front lines. The small white camp ground was over whelmed with a black ebys(sp) suronding it slowly. Vossler was near by and on top the tower watching in inticeapaction as the front lines fought heroicly about 3 miles from the castle walls. He had already demaned for the kingdom to be on lock down and to frezz all comerse untill the threat had been extinguished. The catupults set up along the walls started to fire and could reach about 5 miles out. This would be the biggest and one of the only advantages to the fight as long as the Dark Hand is unable to set up their artilary.

Sogue patted Vivi's hand, as if to say, I don't need to be babied, I can handle myself and then he was off. He ran off toward the archers, following closely behind Vehemoth.

He withdrew his daggers on the fly, flipping them backhanded as he approached the Giant, slowing to meet his pace.

"We will meet them together." Sogue said, never turning to look at his friend, always ahead, always at the opponent.

The wind howled around her face as the crackling of the leaves whispered into her ears. Squinting her green eyes she trys to focus on her surrondings. Ever since she woke up today something felt amiss. When she was walking alone she could feel some else in her area. Bending over as her white wings struck up straight into the sky. Knees started to bend as she wrapped her fingers around her ankle. Feeling her dagger in it's pocket on the inside of her leg. She slipped it out and closed her eyes trying to listen closley around her. Hearing distance panting she figured out where the mystery being was. She jumped up and threw the knife as it hit the tree. "What?" She yelled under her breath, "He was right there, I heard him!"

She spun around, starting to panick as she heard footsteps sprint around her. Small growls haunted her mind as she decided to make a run for it. Running up to her knife, the beast jumps on her back. She yelps as her hands were just able to touched the edge of the dagger. The dagger flys into the air and lands jsut a little out of her reach. The beast sits on her back as it start digging it's claws into her. She screams as she pulls herself closer to the dagger. Her fingers cluched a hold of the end, as she pulls through the pain. She flings it up and stabs the beast in one of it's arms. Crys echoed through the forest as Akkujun leaps up on her feat. Raccing through the forest she comes to a hault at the edge of a cliff. Looking back into the forest she knew it was only a matter of time before it would come back after her.

Akkujun

Looking back into the forest she knew it was only a matter of time before it would come back after her.

"Now you witness the power of my story. The power of a perfect place. You will become one of my many followers who to will dwell in this perfect place."
YOu sudenly wake to your samll in room in your small house sweaty and cold. Your heart was racing and your back hurt. You relized the window was open and a cold chill pushed its way into your room as the wind blew to escape the cold dark night.
"This is where you story begins, and where it will soon end."

Vehemoth Charged on forward with his battle cry blareing infront of him. He rasied his huge sword over his head as he got even closer to the pogressive force and then slammed it on the ground as soon as he was close enough to his opponet. The gaint blade clashed against a few of the dark hand beasties and crushed them to bits on impact while the blade continued down wards. Vehemoth stoped moving to swing his blade around. the total length of the thing was 15 yards and was 7 yards thick. Its huge mass and wait was enough to move the gaint with a swing and the weak dark hand units could do nothign to slow down the hacking of this killing machine. Vehemoth laughed with every swing like this was some kind of game and waved over to Sogue as he cleared a line of the full blooded vampires out of his way.
"this is only there little kind. You should have alot of fun with the newly improved Dark hand units. The ones we will be fighting are the ones that took over Hevon7 and are mostly dark Cletrals, confused by the might of Joa Boo. " he yelled
The enemy consisted of mostly mercenarys and undead creatures. At this point all there where was the most basic of the dark hand army "Shades" full blooded vampires with a great strength in numbers and at night. other then that they where easy to kill. There where also groups of very sofisticated goblins that fought from a distance and used soom pretty advanced wepons.

As time began to slow for Sogue, this seemed to happen anytime a distinct attack or manuver occured, he lept forward, vaulting off of Vehemoth's blade into the air. ((Wow, lot's of commas.))
While he flew through the air, he withdrew his pistols, firing rounds of UV rays into the throngs of Shades beneath him.

Bodys feel limp to the blasts as the ones near you where hit. The exponentialy growing numbers of shades grew as they flooded the suroundings. The seemed to jump all over you every second you turned to fight off another one. Vehemoth was having the same difficulty but persevered by casting a rock fall area effect. the small parts of the land around him would randomly sink in and suck up groups of enemys at a time. The ground would quickly cover over itsefl again to wait for another number of Shades.

Cold damp hands rub her face as she shifts in her bed. Pulling the covers off herself she looks about in her room. Sweat rolled down her cheeks as she looked out the window. The clear black night with a moon that shone high above, stared back at her. Akkujun blinks her eyes and looks about, to see her door was wide open. she crawled up and started to crept to her door. Her fingers slid around the edge of it as she was about to slam it shut, but she heard sounds outside. She owned this house since her parents were killed long ago.

She pushed the door open to push her body into the hallway. The light from the moon danced on her walls, as tree branches shadows lurked after her. Bare feet pushed in the the ground as she made it through the hallway. She stopped in fear as her eyes were frozen on her back yard. Her clear door was shut but is showed her fence which was knocked over. Wood was scattered around, as footsteps led to the woods behind her house. She shook her head as her nightmare flashed back to her.

Unable to control her body she yanks the door open. a gush of wind blew her hair back as she squinted her eyes. Feets crept on the cold grass the tickled her feet in the wind. Heart beating fast, eyes like a hawk study her surrondings. Starting up wood she placed them on top of each other. Picking up the last one she heard a stick, she caught herself staring at the forest, like it was calling her name. She looked up at the sky as the stars danced above her head. Breathing in deep her eyes once again were stuck staring into the black forest in front of her.

Sogue landed on the ground, instantly holstering his pistols and withdrawing his daggers. He ducked under and attack from a Shade, standing up whilst running Essence into his gut. He spun, hacking off another Shade's head with his Kris. He launched himself into another Shade, knocking himself backward and onto the sword of another Shade. Sogue pushed himself around to the side, stabbing the defending Shade in the side, pushing him over with a strong kick.

Sogue landed on the ground, instantly holstering his pistols and withdrawing his daggers. He ducked under and attack from a Shade, standing up whilst running Essence into his gut. He spun, hacking off another Shade's head with his Kris. He launched himself into another Shade, knocking himself backward and onto the sword of another Shade. Sogue pushed himself around to the side, stabbing the defending Shade in the side, pushing him over with a strong kick.

There was a suden burst through a wall of shades crawling there way into the battle field. The sent of rotten flesh burning almost intoxicated the air. Vivi was standing at one end of the explosion with his small staff in one hand and the other held strait out infront of him. A dark blue flame was lit around the peak of his staff and it shot again in the direction of his hand. The flames where long and thick like a flame thrower and it ignited another group on there way in. Viv ran up against Vehemoth and tossed a green poll into the ground. As soon as the poll made contact with the ground it rooted and stood up stright. A green mist emenated(sp) from the top. The poll was an energy bost that refuled Vehemoths will power by 10% every time he swoung his sword. You could see Vivi's little hat making its way over to you along with another burst of flames. Every now and then there would be a random crack of thunder as a bolt strock the ground near you, disinagrating another foe. The taste of metal was strong.
Then it sudenly stoped. The power the energy. You could no longer see Vivi. he seemed to be having some troube and couldn't make it to you.

Sogue turned his attention toward the Shades keeping him from the tiny mage. He swung his swords like blunt clubs, only needing to bash enemies out of his way, instead of kill them. He shot himself forward, buckling Shades off their feet and blasting his way toward the little cloth hat.

Akkujun

The sun began poking over the top of the forest hills. It was early in the morning and the sound of wild life wakeing grew every minute. The trees came to life as well, still swaying in the wind together like a sea of green leaves. behind you on the other side of the forst you could see a nasty set of strom clouds settleing in. They where moving fast and looked very dangerous. It was almost as if the clouds had a set figure, like it was alive or some kind of big ship and it was coming your way.

Sogue turned his attention toward the Shades keeping him from the tiny mage. He swung his swords like blunt clubs, only needing to bash enemies out of his way, instead of kill them. He shot himself forward, buckling Shades off their feet and blasting his way toward the little cloth hat.

Vivi was cought underneath a dead Tyrant, a gaint dino beast that had fallen over from a cut through its head. There where a few more of the huge t-resx looking beast runnign around and trampleing both sides. These creatures where home to the Kingdom of Baji but had little to no self control. Most of the men riding them had already been killed, leaving the beast confused and to defend fro itself. Vivi was stck under one of its large legs and had his hat and one hand visible under the mass of body.

Sogue moved forward, slicing the beast's leg off in one deft stroke of his blades.

He moved to get Vivi out from under the leg, sheathing his swords as he worked.

Suddenly he heard a crash behind him, another Tyrant fast approching.

Sogue whipped out his left pistol and shot 3 quick, successive bullets, each hitting the dinosaur in the head, it slumped down and crashed into the ground right before it collided with Sogue and Vivi.

He moved to get Vivi out from under the leg, sheathing his swords as he worked.

Suddenly he heard a crash behind him, another Tyrant fast approching.

Sogue whipped out his left pistol and shot 3 quick, successive bullets, each hitting the dinosaur in the head, it slumped down and crashed into the ground right before it collided with Sogue and Vivi.

The tyrant moved sloowly and gave out a loud cry. Its head seemed to be gushed open at the top but it wasn't enough to kill it. Its head spun around as the beast tryed to get back up. It was blinded by the bulets and lost in the battle around it. One arm was cought underneath itself and the other swoung around in a frantic fury to grab ahold of somthing. It gave out another cry that made a few others near by tunr there head. All at once about 6 more cmae running in that direction. The gaints feet banging against the ground shock it with every step. Vivi was slightly unconcouis(sp).
