After four painful hours of teachers droning on endlessly about subjects she knew more about than they did, Raine pretty much bolted out of class. Highschool, she decided, was a punishment in itself. And teenagers were not as fascinating as adults and young children, so she didn't even have that to keep her mind off the boredom. Not to mention that the teachers and the students eyes kept roaming back to her every few minutes. She was so eager to get away from the learning environment that she almost ran into an immobile Emilian, who was leaning casually against the cafeteria wall.
He grasped her upper arms to stop her, smiling delightedly, "Anxious?"

"Anxious to get out of here," she said. She would have added that she had been anxious to see him, but for some reason decided not to.
"That makes two of us," he said cheerfully, "Shall we?" He turned to walk away from the slew of buildings.

She matched his stride and looked at his face. It was gorgeous, as most vampires were, but that's not what caught and kept her interest. "Your eyes are very...unique,"she said. What an understatement, they were more than just one color. And most vampires had either red or gold, his were neither.
He continued walking though he ceased breathing and seemed to tense. "Thanks," he said, looking away. He didn't seem embarassed, but rather like there was something more to them. Something he didn't want her to figure out.

Raine sensed the sudden change in the atmosphere and got the sinking feeling she'd said something wrong. "Sorry," her whisper was almosst inaudible to her own ears. "You didn't want to hear that." It wasn't a question, it was a statement. "I have a knack for saying the things people dont' want to hear."

Hummingbird wasn't her normal prey, and she'd already eaten, but Karissa nonetheless prepared to hunt again. This would be...interesting. She'd never tried to chase something that flied before.

Karissa was able to catch the hummingbird, but surprisingly, she let it go. She just didn't feel like more blood. She couldn't identify the feeling, but she felt she needed something else...

He chuckled, "Well, let's put it this way: you get good at pick-pocketing when your a jobless vampire." His voice was quieter than a whisper, very quick so that no human could hear. He handed her the keys with a grin.

She let out a soft giggle. "I guess you would have to be," she said, happy that the mood was lifting again.

Arianna was walking around campus utterly lost. 'Ugh life suck' she thought. 'New school, no friends and I'm not planning on making any' she thought firmly.

As Karissa returned to school for yet another day, she could feel the repetition. "I'm going to have to find something else to occupy my time, besides hunting," she mused. But she was surprised when the monotony of her homeroom was interrupted by an unforseen announcement - "Students, I'd like you to welcome our new student. I know we're already a few days into the school year, but Arianna just arrived here in Forks yesterday." The new student was a vampire.
PostPosted: Sun Apr 08, 2007 4:18 pm
-By the way I'm not a vampire, later someone can make me a vampire if you so wish.
Shyly, Ariana walked over to her seat in homeroom. She sat down Karissa. 'Why do they have to announce my name over the announcements?' Arianna wondered.

"Forks is a small town. New students, especially those who arrive late, are interesting," offered Karissa. Now that she was closer, Karissa could tell she'd been mistaken. This girl was no vampire. But she looked awfully like one from a distance.

Sorry, it was out of habit. It's just that you're our first human in the RPG forum!

"I'm used to small towns" Arianna admitted quietly, her voice had a beautiful light accent. "I was born in Ohio and lived there until last year..." Arianna trailed off and stiffled a sob. "I'm sorry you must think I'm a baby" Arianna said in the same quiet voice, looking down at her skirt she started tugging at it, uncomfortable.
