what was ur first anime

I think mine had to be Speed Racer but that was back in the day only on summer vacations visiting the philippines. Then I guess it had to be something like Samurai Pizza cats? if that is ever considered anime. Then there was Pokemon I guess but at those times I was unaware of the definition of anime
