Ryukai growled and picked up Alysha. He ran as fast as he could to a hospital. Once she was situated, he walked back to Rosalind. He grinned. "A tree, eh?"

Jason's body becomes engulfed in flames, as the pillar of ice melts he jumps into the air, his flame wings form, his body returns to normal, but the wings remain as he hovers in the air "why did those vines try to pull me into the ground?"

They dare to resist Mother? Preposterous! Infidels! We musy bring them to justice and open their eyes to Mother's way! A great arm of intertwined vines erupted from the earth, forming a fist and swinging at Jason.

Suddenly, Vlad's voice rang out all across the countryside.

Go ahead. It will make it easier for Mother to truly claim her. She still doubts. She still isn't certain. But as soon as she joins Mother, she shall be. Stab her, and help her to true enlightenment! Mother will drink a taost to your ineptitude, and her blood shall serve as the wine for the occasion!

Rosalind was torn. She knew, now, that she was in control and enjoyed it, but, at that, she also wished to be individual and "free," despite her roots.

Had she her form, Rosalind would have shouted out in frustration. Would he truly do this?At the same time that she was doubting her own friends, she was saddened. Although she had grown terribly afraid of him, Rosalind could not dismiss what she had felt for Vlad and his changed state worried her. Had he not once defended her by his life? Rosalind realized her selfishness, but she wanted everything to return to as it had been.

Oh, if only Roslaind could see Vlad. Though his voice encouraged serving Gaia, his physical form was still but a fountain, a weeping metal man on his knees before the world. Vlad was not himself; his mind and heart were subjugated under the Earthen Song; only his physical form told the true tale of his woes...
