"Glad to see you're doing alright." I said, leaning against a wall.
"So... what's up with you and Lykas?"

Odd grunted at the question, turning away for a moment. "He's just been a real jerk lately." He admitted after a moment. "I mean, he's even taken to turning Narcissa against me. She was supposed to be our Pokemon, not his!" He certainly seemed distressed by this thought. "She won't even come around me anymore. All she ever does is stick with him and let him teach her how to battle...."

To be honest, I didn't see how sharing a pokemon even worked, but I tried to be open-minded about the situation. "I probably know exactly nothing about the situation, but... maybe Narcissa just -wants- to learn how to fight? I mean, what else has Lykas done to make you mad at him?"

"I'm sure she does but that doesn't mean Lykas is the only one who can teach her!" Odd countered, upset at the thought. "I don't like the thought of her fighting just yet but that doesn't mean I wouldn't teach her if she'd come to me."
At the question of what else Lykas had done, he flinched slightly. "Are you kidding? Have you seen the looks he gives people? He wants to shag everything on two legs!' He raged, fighting back the tears in his eyes. "After he practically forced me into a relationship with him when we first met, now I'm suddenly not enough?! And now, Gods! Now? He went and set that psychopath, Chaos, loose on the world again!" Maybe he'd had these thoughts for a while now....

"Chaos... I'd forgotten all about him." I admitted. "But then, I haven't seen him around recently. As for the way he looks at people, I can understand that. If he wanted you in the first place, he should be sticking wi-wait, 'forced' you?"

Odd nodded. "Sort of. I thought he was cute but I've never been in a relationship before I met him and wasn't exactly in the "brave" bracket of people, so I wasn't really sure how to interact with him." He admitted. "He saw me looking one day and approached me about it. So I told him I liked him."
He stopped for a second, remembering how much fun their relationship had been back then. "I guess you could say I wanted it but didn't know how to get it. Lykas pretty much took charge of our relationship and made me figure it out." He admitted. He wouldn't say it but the parts between the sheets were a bit more forced at times than others, mostly due to his own uncertainty about learning.

"Ah. I probably shouldn't have asked," I said awkwardly. "At any rate, as much as he worked at being with you... like that, it doesn't make sense that he'd be after other people now. Unless he's like that."

Requiem of Whyspers "Ya, I've always wanted to ask about that." Lykas commented as he walked in, his own Luxray at his side. Sphynx looked up at Hawk's answer and sparked slightly. "That's stupid. Giving them a name would work just as well. You still have to remember the number you named them, regardless, so what's the difference?" He asked as he leaned back against the wall. "The difference? Well it's easy!" Hawk said, assembling the goodies in his draw string bag. "Ok, so remember these two things." Hawk said, digging around in his bag for a bit. He produced a stop watch and a green towel. "The watch is named Five. The Towel? Its name is gregoryjohnsallybobjohansonbobjenkinsbobfrankbobsandwhich. Later on, we'll see which is easier to remember." With a stupid smile on his face, Hawk slung the bag over his shoulder and.... well, he kinda had to steal Kal's sandwhich. Four was kinda stuck in it. With himself at the ready, he'd head on off to the training room! As for Zero, She simply looked at Sphynx on her way out, wondering when another luxray started living here. She really needed to get out more.

Odd nodded once more. "Ya, I thought so too." He noted as he looked over at his Pokemon.

"That's your problem right there. The towel's name isn't a name. It's nine mashed together. Try not smoking so much crack once in a while and you might be able to slow down enough to really process stuff." He commented as the birdman left the room. His ears twtiched slightly as Hawk left and he spoke to Sphynx, who was wondering why Zero had given her such a strange look. "I sense a disturbance within the building. Someone's talking ~/~ about me....." He commented to her. She'd have told him someone always was but he wouldn't understand her if she tried right now.

[xD omfg.]
A loud cackle came from the halls as Hawk began laughing. "Maybe you need a little crack! ...AN' AH DUN MEAN THA DRUG! ahhhhh hahaHAAAA!" Hawk shouted down the hall before fleeing as fast as his legs could carry him. For all he knew, Lykas could be a ticking time bomb! He always did seem a little.... ODD... or maybe a little LYKAS!!!!!!!
Hawk's inner ramblings warranted a small guffaw as he entered the training room! "Ok! Time for some hard core training! We're gonna lift weights, and run laps, and practice moves, and...and... and.... Terashi and Odd? You two training too?"

"You could say that," I told Hawk calmly.
A small realization had me headed out the door. "We'll talk some more later, Odd," I said as I headed out to the main lobby, ready to intercept Lykas if he was headed this way, to get his side of the story.

Lykas' eye twitched at Hawk's comments. Sphynx saw this and inched away slowly. Awwww hell. Hawk was about to die.
"I'll show you you sorry son of a ~/~ ~/~ ~/~!" He growled as he stormed out of the kitchen and down the hall. He was gathering more and more speed as he went, his typically lilac eyes beginning to turn a deep red in his anger.
"Oh, hi, Hawk." Odd greeted, brushing a few stray hairs out of his face. (This was more a way to hide him wiping away the tears of hurt without anyone seeing them than anything else.) "Ya, I'm training a few of my Pokemon. Rhythm, Beat and A'Capella are a bit under trained in comparison to my Ghost-types." He explained with a small laugh. "Some trainer that makes me, huh?"

RCCaughtem "I shall. If I am spotted, I will teleport immediately. I am not going to pick a fight. just to look." RC says as he calls out Sabrina. "I will head to Floaroma Town and make my way into the forest and the Chateau that way. I have a feeling they will have much more watchful eyes on the Eterna City side of the Forest." RC explains. "Okay, and have GRAY contact me if there is a problem and I will head on over there right away." He told the hybrid.

Hawk watched as Terashi seemed to rush off again. Wasn't he the one that wanted to catch up? Hawk shrugged it off and turned to face Odd. "Oh, no. What makes a trainer good or bad isn't how strong their pokemon is. But, by how happy their pokemon are." Hawk said, scratching his head. "That's what my Dad used to tell me. But hey, speaking of ghost types, lookit!" Hawk tossed a pokeball up and released Eight, his Chandelure. "If I remember correctly... you or Lykas has a Chandelure too, right? Or was it a lampent..... anyway. I learned that He really likes his fire side. See, watch." Hawk turned to Eight and got the pokemon's attention. He pointed off at a corner. "Eight! Attack!" The Chandelure turned to the corner, balled up a bunch of flame, and launched it with a joyous squeel! The ball flew straight until it collided with the wall, and it exploded! Flame spilled everywhere, as if a molotov cocktail had been thrown. "See? How do I get him to be more in tune with his ghosty side?" Although he wasn't 100% on the whole... empathy thing, Hawk could tell that something was up with Odd. He was acting.... Lykasly. er- oddly. YES THESE KEEP HAPPENING. So, Hawk figured a change of subject would do some good.
