I came back into HQ after my business in Johto, and was going to ask Sub something until I saw him passed out in his office. "Guess it can wait," I mumbled to myself.

Ter might notice a Lillipup darting past him before a small blonde girl collided into him and fell to the floor. "Ow! Stupid wall!" she frowned, not noticing it was a person she ran into. Alex proceeded to check her goggles for damage but all checked out which made the her smile again.

After the several incidents with Krystal's sister, I was able to brace myself so that I didn't fall when someone ran into me. The fact that this one was shorter than what I'm used to helped, though it may have caused her to bounce off of me a bit harder.
"I'm neither. You should really watch where you're going." I said, trying to keep as calm a tone as possible and not sound uppity or judgemental.

Alex jumped at the sound of a voice, seeing Terashi in front of her. "Oh! My bad, I didn't see you" she grinned, standing up. Staring at the guy, the girl could've sworn she'd seen him before. "...Oh yeah! You're...umm....Hirashi!" she exclaimed, apparently having forgot his name.

"I dunno...you look familiar though" she replied. Alex was sure they'd met somewhere before....maybe on a mission. She vaguely remembered it being cold. Her Lillipup soon approached when he realized he was no longer being chased. Looking up at Terashi, the puppy began to yip at him, thinking he was messing with his trainer.

That's about when it hit me. "Oh, right! That night, um... when Sub had to lock down HQ due to Reno stupidly hoarding the meteorite's power. I almost forgot about that, although I wouldn't have known if Sub hadn't busted up the Pokemon Battle Reno and I were in against a new guy and some girl. Don't think I ever got her name."
"Anyway, it's nice to meet you. Though come to think of it, I don't think I ever got your name, either."

Alex scooped the puppy up, getting him to stop barking at Terashi. She nodded her head when she recalled the HQ going on lockdown. "Yeah! That's when! I remember now" she smiled. "Yeah, my name is Alex. I'll try not to forget your name again" she giggled, a bit embarrassed for forgetting.

"No problem," I told her. "Nice to meet you, Alex."
I didn't really notice the barking because I didn't recognize the pokemon, but now that I had nothing else to say, I let curiosity get the better of me and brought out my Academy Pokedex.
Lilipup, the Puppy Pokemon
It faces strong opponents with great courage. But, when at a disadvantage in a fight, this intelligent Pokemon flees. The long hair around its face provides an amazing radar that lets it sense subtle changes in its surroundings.
"That's a strong little guy you've got there," I commented as I looked over Lilipup's personal data.

"You think so? I haven't actually battled with him yet so I don't know what he's capable of. I'm sure he's strong though and if not he can be, right?" she asked the pup, getting her cheek licked in response. "So, so, what kind of pokemon do you have Terashi? Are they big and strong or small and strong?" Alex asked curiously.

"A little bit of both," I admitted, letting everyone out of their balls and out of Snagem's PSS so Alex could see for herself.
Alex would see an Oshawott, a Levanny, a Drillbur, a Darmanitan, a Scrafty, a Sneasel, a Beldum, and a Magby appear in front of me. "This is Samurai, Sunny, Simon, Darien, Shady, and Celes. I haven't named Beldum and Magby yet." I said, introducing them in order.

A look of shock and awe appeared on Alex's face, observing each of Terashi's pokemon. "So cool! You have a Beldum? I want Beldum too!" she beamed, hoping Ter would mention where he got his. "I only have two pokemon. This guy who doesn't have a name yet and my Porygon, Z." At the mention of the digital pokemon, it suddenly appeared, making itself known.

Odd walked out of his room and down the stairs to the main room, stretching massively as he reached the bottom. "Jeez....I keep sleeping all day........I really need to figure out how to sleep at night again......." He mumbled to himself as he headed into the lobby, intending to find something to watch on tv.

"Right, well, next time we fight off against the Galaxy Club, I'll be sure to let you know. I'd prefer to tell you how to find them in the wild, but that, I don't know. I got Beldum here by snagging him."
I was kidding about that first part, of course. She seemed way too young to be getting in that kind of danger, though it really wasn't my place to judge.
Though the mention of her Porygon caught me off-guard. "Whoa! Seems you're doing alright by yourself if you've got one of THOSE!"

Alex seemed to ponder the thought, not yet having the chance to snag something. It should be fine if she took a pokemon from a bad trainer, right? "Yeah! I'll be there!" she finally decided, taking Ter's statement seriously. The girl looked at her Porygon and then at Terashi. "You think so? It really helpful with all of my computer projects. We don't get to battle much but it's really strong! Dan and Freya battled it but I caught it, making it my first pokemon." With that the girl went back to looking at Ter's pokemon, starting with Samurai. She gave the otter a slight poke in the belly. "I think I seen what this evolves into. Reminds me of Dan's umm...Dewott I think?"
