You can. Just remember that you can't use the Digi-egg of Darkness again, and you can't get this guy animated in the Limited/Restricted shop.

Ehh... Lopmon is limited... I hope you know this, but you can't get a limited here. To order a limited partner, you need 50,000 TP(5000 posts). You order a limited in the limited/restricted shop.
