Soon enough, the light of the moon began to make Almirrah's eyes sting, and her eyes strayed from the moon. She remembered when Shuicho had nearly blinded her once and her eyes never fully recovered since that incident.
She then noticed the growing silence between them.
'What brings you here during this time of night, Seilene?' she asked.

Seilene awoke from her thoughts and looked over at Almirrah, her blue eyes faded some, "Couldn't sleep....and I wanted some time away from Arkanna, my sister.." she said lightly, trying to remember where she had left Arkanna. Her ear did it's usual fold in two, making her look like a pup.

Almirrah nodded as she listened to all that Seilene said. She barely remembered what it was like to have a family. Her past hurt her, but her memories were faint. This pack was the closest to family she had felt in a long time.
'Lack of sleep is painful' she said, wishing that her dreams would go away so that she herself could finally sleep as well. 'So you left your sister? What became of her?' she asked, not sure whether leaving a sibling was the right choice. She hoped Arkanna was alright.

Seilene nodded, "I haven't been able to sleep much, like you." she said and looked at the sky once again, "Arkanna's probably alseep in the clearing with Sulkrai..." she commented, trying to think of where the two went, "We separated before they found a spot to sleep...they should be fine...the worst thing that could happen is that they might beat each other to death.." she chuckled lightly, picturing that scene in her head.

Almirrah smiled at Seilene's taste in humor.
She felt less worried now that Seilene had told her Arkanna would be fine without her there. Almirrah leaned against a nearby ruin, the remains of what used to be a strong wall made of individual stones, wondering what was the reason Seilene could not sleep.
Meanwhile, a small gathering of bats took off into the night, screeching their own unique 'melodies' as they feasted upon insects- which were plentiful this time of year.

Seilene's ears perked up as she heard the bats, looking to them, "Hm..Haven't seen bats in quite some time..." she commented and looked to Almirrah, "Maybe I should run around at night more often." she said with a small grin. Then looking back at the bats with interest, "Father always loved bats.." she whispered as her thoughts made memories return quickly. They flooded her mind maing her look to the ground and shake her head, trying to forget them.

'Perhaps you should.. once in a while. It can get awfully lonely during these times' Almirrah replied, realizing how infrequently she gets to see friends and spend time with others. She saw that Seilene was obviously thinking of something. Almirrah had never heard much of Seilene's father.. but she did not question her further on the topic.. in case the memories that might be brought up would be painful.
Instead, she began to walk at her own steady pace to a clearer area where the air seemed a bit more fresh and she lay down in a pool of moonlight- as if she were moonbathing.

-Kiros had traveled to the ruins in search of one of the Alphas. So far,he had no luck in finding either of them,or even the Beta pair. The female pups actions during the event had worried him greatly. He felt that it was not his place to correct the pups seemignly irrational actions. He still wanted to talk to the young fae himself, but in order to ease his mind,he needed to speak his concerns to one of the ranking members.-

Seilene nodded and grinned, "Yea, I will...I never get to talk with you in the morning so it would be nice to at night." she said and got up slowly trailing behind Almirrah as she made her way to the moon light. Finally calming her thoughts and focusing clearly she looked around the ruins.

-The male momentarily ceased his search of the ruins for the Alphas and remained in the shadows as a pair of wolves unknown to him walked into a moonlit area. He moved himself into a position where the wind blew their scent towards him,but kept his own scent hidden as he kept to the shadows. He had never seen nor smelled the two females, and was not sure if they were members of the pack. If they were not, they would be warned that they could stay as long as they did not cause trouble or go near the main dens. Tanani had said the pack was relatively large,so the chances of them bieng a part of the pack were good.-

Hellahi stalked silently out of the shelter of the night's shadows. He seemed troubled, no doubt by thoughts of Almirrah. Something about her weakened him critically, and awakened a side of him he thought long buried by endless layers of bitterness. He wasn't sure if he liked this abrupt resurfacing... He rather hated himself for his behavior lately. How long had it been since he had threatened, killed, or raped? How long had it been since he had vented the hatered inside him?
He had met his equal. He had to come to terms with the horrid realization that he wasn't as great as he thought he was. And thus, his motivation had disappeared.
As he stalked the forest paths, he soon stumbled upon the ruins.
Moonlight washed over him, and his hostile exterior was exposed. He found himself feeling oddly self-conscious. His appearance hardly reflected his mood at the moment, and he decided it was time. He was alone, and these ruins promised some scenery he could more convienently enjoy in his other form.
He threw his head back, and embraced the shadows. He went abruptly rigid, and in an instant his body was inveloped in darkness. Its shadowy, serpentine tendrils flicked and twisted in the air, licking at his limbs as they consumed him. In the briefest of moments, the shadow writhed and snaked, then disappated. A dark, misty fog lingered, and in place of the wolf now stood a tall, elegant man. As the fog evanesced, one could see that he was beautiful rather than handsome, with milky pale skin and a soft face. What remained of the wolf was his still blood-red eyes, his ridged silvery horns, his long flowing tail, and the unnerving aura of bitterness. He was dressed plainly, but elegantly, in a flowing multi-layered black skirt decorated around the waist with a band of silvery disc-like chimes. He was barefoot, as well as shirtless. His hair was pulled back in a neat tail that rested on the back of his neck. In one fluid movement, he reached back and let the tail loose. His charcoal-black hair spilled over his back, concealing horrific stitched wounds that appeared as if wings had been forcibly torn out.
He was Hellahi, the long lost.
He stared at his hands (which bore curiously long nails) thoughtfully, almost regretablly. He hadn't taken this form in what seemed like ages. It still didn't seem right... but... His whole world was changing. Why not his form? At least... just for now.
He turned his head, the multitude of rings and chains decorating his pointed ears chiming with the movement. The ruins, as he came to find, were quite beautiful. The entrance to a small labyrinth caught his attention, and he decided to continue his lonely stroll.
Weaving slowly, gracefully, through the labyrinth, he appeared to glide rather than walk. His earrings and the discs on his skirt sent a haunting kind of music chiming through the air with every step he took. He seemed a dark, lonely spirit, with his elegant skirt flowing behind him like a great wispy shadow. Instead of malicious and brutal, he seemed oddly dignified. Almost as if he held the answers to all life's mysteries, and beyond. Almost as if he were ageless in his knowledge.
Almost as if he were a long-lost spirit, denied by even Hell, and sent to earth to suffer a bitter eternity.
Every so often, he would raise a hand to trail across the vine-covered walls of the labyrinth. He seemed to be caressing it assuringly as he passed, as if it were a lonely sort of thing that needed comfort. He respected these walls, admired this labyrinth, and felt a strange connection within.
And so he walked, serenely and enigmatically, blissfully unaware of the world around him.

-Kiros caught the Alpha's scent and followed it. However, what he found surprised him. He had never seen this human before. He smelled like the Alpha....had he killed him??? Kiros's fur stood on end as he growled and circled the human, letting out an occasional snarl in hopes to raise the hume from sleep.-
