How about this for a possible RP setting:
The year is 45 ABY. The Galaxy has settled with the following accordance. The government that was the New Republic has reorganzied into the Republic Galactica, whilst the CHiss Ascendancy, Hapes Consortium, and Imperial Remnant have returned to their own political foundations under the pretense that in the event that a threat of the galactic level occurs, the four governments will form the Galactic Alliance once more.
All is relatively peaceful in the galaxy.
The planet Aquilae, ruled by Humans for centuries as a constitutional monarchy, is discovered to have traces of Duro architecture and art hidden in an obscure area of the planet. What is a piece of historical evidence soon evolves into a galactic crisis.
The Duros discover that Aquilae was a Duros colony even before the creation of the Old Republic. What is worse is that Humans arrived on the planet and massacred the Duros, claiming the planet as their own.
Sides are taken, and the Duros can blame no one but the Human race as a whole, causing accusations of xenocide arising throughout the Galaxy. As the members of the Galactic Alliance are split, it seems as though war is inevitable, and not even the Alliance can stop this fight between Humans and Aliens.

sounds interesting. But im not sure the Duros will take something that happened thoudsands of years ago so seriously.

Hell, the duros didn't even care their own planet was turned into a wasteland.
Unless you want the duros to be historians with attitude, they dont' give a damn about anything besides their starship.

That's a valid point.
I guess it only strengthens it seeing as how the Vong have literally raped their own planet and reconstruction could take a century, settling Aquilae could do thems so good.

I did some recruiting of my own. Some even said they'd join the RP. why its just the regulars is beyond me though.
