First off, Cale's right.
And second, I read frigate as freighter.

A Corvette is closer to a freighter than a Frigate

Technically Corvettes and Frigates are considered Capships too
but in Capships it goes
Corvette Frigate Destroyer Light Cruiser Strike Cruiser Heavy Cruiser Light Carrier Strike Carrier Battlecruiser Attack Carrier Fleet Carrier Battleship Star Destroyer (Can be considered one of the last two) Star Dreadnaught ('nuff said)

not realy captial ships. Corvettes bridge the gap between fighters and capital ships.
Corvettes can be anywhere from 10-500 people manning the thing.

So how about those Eclipse or Soverign Star Destroyers? I never knew such things exsisted until recently they're pretty powerful in comparission to SSD models but their designs are weird in shape, sort of. Still nice to learn some new things.

They are far more powerfal than an SSD. The Eclipse is ungodly powerful, and the Sovereign can handle three of anything...except for maybe the death star...

Fighting an Eclipse is honestly every commanders nightmare...I've ran it a couple of times, and I always lose...

And here's the discrepency.
Executor SDs are often reffered to as Supers.
Any class from Exec up is sometimes called a "Dreadnaught" or a SSD.
So pretty much, Executors, Eclipses, Sovereigns, and anything larger than an ISD can be called an SSD.

no, its an Eclipse-class Star Dreadnought.
The Dreadnought replaces Destroyer.
It just means its too big to be a Destroyer, its classified as a Dreadnought.
Most fans prefer to call it an SD because its a generic term for a dagger shaped warship/
