Slip out the back before they know you were there
and at the worst you'll see nobody cares, you don't want to be around when it all goes down...
William Dante Nott the Third
Second Year, Slytherin
Tay had met Trinity’s inquisitive stare head on, not a trace of emotion could be easily read across rounded features still fat from the baby weight he had yet to shed. At an incredibly petite height barely past the five foot, he stood up at the distant sound of a stampede of children filing off of the train to head towards Hogwarts. He wouldn’t be able to soar across on the boats like he had last year, apparently, that was only for First Years. He couldn’t help but wonder how he was supposed to reach the castle now. ”Nott.” He introduced himself properly with his surname the first to dart out his tongue. ”William Nott the Third, you should look for me if you make it in Slytherin.” He offered as he turned to gather the empty bird cage that had belonged to his owl, the Eurasian Eagle Owl had flown off half way through the ride to hunt.
”Looks like we’re here though,” he commented off handedly noticing that the other students in the compartment had left. ”Trinity, right?” He wanted to confirm as he turned to look at her now. ”It’s been nice to meet you, however short it was… maybe I’ll see you at the Sorting Feast?” The invitation had been extended as the two left the compartment and descended the train. He paused now separating the paths between the first years and upperclassmen. ”Don’t be late for the boats, I almost missed ‘em last year.” Tay hadn’t at all minded being the only one to speak, it was actually rather nice. ”See ya, mate.” He bid farewell to Trinity Wood as he shuffled off towards the larger group heading towards carriages. But he paused and blinked his eyes at the skeletal beasts that ushered the carriages around. Thestrals, he remembered from his father’s stories. A moment had been spared to study the illustrious form of the beast before he continued on, acting as though he hadn’t seen a thing, but a chill had crept down his spine and infused within every bone on the way down.

second year - hufflepuff▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬allen w. rhoddes▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬muggle born - wizard raised- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - “To achieve great things, two things are needed: a plan, and not quite enough time.” – Leonard Bernstein “Now, somehow, in some new way, the sky seemed almost alien.” – Lyndon B. Johnson
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ¦¦ The ride on the train he shared with Jane passed quickly. It was terribly spirit-lifting to have her in his company once more; she had a strange affect on him. The characterisitc smirk that could often be seen adorning his face was once again replaced after its long absence through the summer. They spent the ride in the trudging scarlet train retelling stories of thier summer. Jane's summer adventures (and her cousin especially) interested Allen greatly. He, having little sotires to tell and none of them kind) had to make up small details or be completely vague. To anyone else he would have lied, but honestly was pulled out of him with Jane.
Hours felt like seconds in thier nonstop chatter and jokes as they piled sweets into themselves and soon it was time to change. WIth matching black and gold ties handing from their necks, they looked out the window with eager eyes for the heart-stopping second they once again lay eyes on the magical school. Its tall tower peeks broke the horizon and within no less then ten minutes, they were at the Hogsmeade station. Jumping from the machine and helping Jane down, he looked about as the call of the groundskeeper sounded. He rose a brow, not realizing that there would be a dilemma. "Do you know how we are getting to the school this year? Surely not walking!" His dark eyes tried to scan for some other source of transport around them but saw nothing. Instead he shrugged, saw the older students gathering and with Poe in hand and Jane at his side he followed suit. ¦¦

phinelia von ichvalsecond year - ravenclawhermes▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬“In the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.” – Desiderius Erasmus “The haft of the arrow had been feathered with one of the eagle’s own plumes. We often give our enemies the means of our own destruction.” – Aesop “There is only one good, knowledge, and one evil, ignorance.” – Socrates “If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn’t.” – Lyall Watson ╔══════════════════╗The memories they had revived on the train ride huddled inside Phi's mind as they slipped off the train with their things. Hermes' head tucked under his strong wing and Phi returned to her Ravenclaw robes. She few a warmth inside her as she looked up at the dark silhouetted image of the castle she would again call home. Red hair stood out in the crowd of students like a fire and it attracted a few glances. She paid it no head, instead looked around for any faces she could recognize; specifically Jane's. The Hufflepuff girl and herself had kept in close contact throughout the summer - Phi wrote her letters during the trios many study sessions in the library and would always ask if they wanted to add anything before she sent it off with her owl. The stories the two girls had shared mixed with the memories she experienced herself with the two boys standing on her sides, a tapestry of the adventures of their first summer. Thoughts and experiences not quickly forgotten.
In the buzzing haste and flood of emotion and excitement that arriving at the station put inside her, Phi's thoughts had a chance to rest from constantly thinking of Alfons Flint. The man had plagued her ever since the party and would never leave her be. Even during their ride on the train when the Raveclaw girl had slipped into a well-earned slumber, he existed in her dreams. He seemed more and more foreign the more she tried to analyze her image of him. A complete stranger that seemed so alien, his reaction even more so. "To the carriages?" she asked quietly over the loud, filled chatter that hung above the trio's heads. Having read nearly ever book on the school they all attended, she was aware that the second years and up all arrived to the castle by means of carriages self-pulled. ╚══════════════════╝
