No, I didn't have any cheese. I usually don't buy it. Though I'm thinking of making a gratin so I might get some next week.

There's random beeping in my apartment! I thought it was the smoke detectors but when I climbed up and unscrew them from the ceiling, there was no battery. They're connected to the electrical in my unit. It's driving me crazy and I don't know what to do to make it stop or what's causing it for that matter.

Sid the Bear me know it all grandma keep calling the computer a god...so we took a "hate this" to make her stop....is back now..... hahaha...I think you just need to explain it to her how it works? It does seem magical to someone who doesn't know much about technology.  you like my pun razz cant spell the word correctly anyway.... rolleyes

No, the sound is definitely coming from the smoke detector and it has a distinctive sound. Pretty sure it's defective. I unplugged it from the electrical in my unit and it stopped beeping. At least now I can have some quiet until it's serviced/replaced.

At least now I can have some quiet until it's serviced/replaced. i see.....no fire till it fixed now...... the leak in the roof that we now got fixed ruined the heater first, the control fail, so we had to replace the board, but the manual not list the part number needed for the board, we we got the wrong board twice, though the second time the wrong part came with numbers list, so we could find the right number needed to get the right part, control board came in mail today, heater is fixed now, house is warm smile (was cold for a week or so, got to use fire place some.....)
