So Blizz, at least, was fine. And Tails was nice and limber with Blizz and for both their sakes he quit the kitchen. With a fresh mug of tea, he made his next round to peek into the medlab. Some kid was being pretty loud and definitely uncouth.
He didn't think he saw this Toren fellow at the islands, either.

"Stupid." Toren mumbled as he looked down at Sub. "You know he used to do stuff like this all the time when I was a kid. Finishing my fights for me, always sticking up for me, and each time he got the crap beat out of him, idiot." He huffed, unable to show how proud he is of his cousin. "We'll pull through, he always does, bro. My cuz is as tough as they come." He said with a grin. "Say, that's a Mew." Toren said as he looked over at Ceramew. "Isn't it...?"

"Trust me when I've say his reputation precedes him." Sol spoke up. "I'd be more surprised if he didn't pull through this one. And it is. She should be more familiar to you than you might think, though." "Unh..."This caught Sol off guard, stopping his train of thought as the Mew on the bed stirred more and more, before slowly sitting up. It didn't seem to dawn on her as to what exactly had happened, or that she was back at the HQ. All that seemingly mattered to her was that she was alive, somehow, and that Sub was nearby. A small part of her felt like he was one of the reasons she was still here, so in a sudden act of thankfulness, she managed to float off the bed and on top of Sub, hugging him. For the moment, Sol was a bit speechless. And not just because he had all the confirmation he needed that she was alive.

Jude would have to turn his back on Toren to see Chaos, who had been wandering around for a bit, his training for the day over.
Once he got Jude's attention, Chaos pointed into the medlab, at Toren. "Who's that ~/~?"

Krystal blinked a bit, not sure if she'd ever met Sub's cousin. Sitting up in bed, though, her stomach growled causing her to blush but laugh. "Better than ever!" She said with an energetic smile.

Jude shrugged at Chaos. "No clue. He's very loud. He must be from Saffron," he said. "That's where I rented my shop. People are -very- loud there."

"Huh? I should? Let's see...small...apparently likes to hug..." He said, as he watched Ceramew hug his cousin. "Wait, Ceramew?" He said, quizzically. As for Sub, he shifted a bit after being hugged, but he did not awaken, this was troublesome to say the least, she was pink after all, and he didn't burst into flames or something similar.
"Violet City actually." Toren responded as he overheard Jude. "But grew up in Goldenrod City for the most part, got a problem with that, bro?" He said to Jude, giving him the eye.

"I figured as much," I said with a chuckle, rising to my feet. "I'll get out and let you change. I could do with a shower anyway," I added. Without waiting for a reply, I walked out of her room and closed the door behind me before heading to my room.
Chaos smiled. Toren had just proven himself to be what Chaos called him. "So, who are you, anyway?" Chaos asked. As for Sub and being on fire, Chaos wouldn't mind having one of his pokemon set the sleeping leader on fire if he asked. That's just one of the many services Chaos offered.

Krystal blinked but shrugged, taking her time with getting changed and having a shower herself. It felt great not to feel like she couldn't breathe half the time. Soon enough, she stepped out of her room, stretching her arms above her head. Man, she just felt great!
"I wonder what's in the fridge .." She mused, heading down to the kitchen. Terashi would probably just meet her there when he was done.

Jude waved his hands perhaps a little too quickly. "Oh, nei. I was a city boy and I ran a small shop so I know city people can be pretty loud," he said. "But you don't want to be loud while people are sleeping, right?"

"That'd be her. It's a bit of a long story how that one happened. But, I see one's managed to come to." Sol commented.

"Oh? Cool bro! I used to love the city myself, Saffron was cool, visited it several times, but I preferred kicking it in Goldenrod, ya know?" He said to Jude, turning back to face Chaos. "Toren's my name bro, I'm Sub's cuz, got it?" He said to the trainer, lightly punching his chest a few times, as a greeting gesture...or something. "You're right though furry dude, I shouldn't yell, sorry. And hey Ceramew! Nice shade, Sub won't like it though, ha!"

"Hah! Never knew Bossman had any relatives. 'Sup?" Chaos said, patting Toren's shoulder once. It was then that Chaos noticed the pink wonder on the bed. "~/~, Cera! You got bald quick!" he added.
He didn't know that the 'red birdman' was her father, or he might have chosen his words more carefully.
Meanwhile, since I didn't see her in her room, the noise from the medlab attracted my attention while I was headed down to the kitchen, so I ended up there instead. "What's going on over here?" I asked when I caught up to the crowd.
