Things happen. It's a rule of life. Hence why there are so many posts.
btw, my ears are in heaven with my new headphones. Also the mic is much better than my last pair so I can talk normally and people can hear me!

Ugh, I really don't know how I put up with it last summer, but I really can't seem to do it this summer. My room is way too damn hot, even at night. I can understand it being sweltering during the 90 degree days, but when it's in the 60's outside, I don't know why my room still feels like a sauna. It's been unbearable. I had to sleep in a different room last night because it was cooler there. I have 3 fans running: A huge one sitting in my window, a normal base-standing fan, and a little one for support. I swear, you wouldn't really know they were working since they just blow hot air around.
Short of getting my own AC unit, which I'm now wanting desperately, I don't CARE about the electricity, I'll pay for it, is there anything anyone can suggest to keep my room a more comfortable, livable temperature? At this point, it's looking more and more like I'll be spending my summer sleeping in the living room =_=

Quick question for ya. During the day, do you keep your door closed all the time or open so your room can air out some?

Quick question for ya. During the day, do you keep your door closed all the time or open so your room can air out some?that's a good question. If you leave your door closed the air will be trapped in there. Try leaving the door open and a window..If there is any breeze outside it will circulate any air in the room..

Quick question for ya. During the day, do you keep your door closed all the time or open so your room can air out some?My door is only ever closed when I'm in the room, otherwise my door is open all day. I suppose it wouldn't kill me to leave it open a crack during the night to get some circulation. It's weird. Right now it's just fine. A little warm but I could sleep, and it's 4:23 in the afternoon. But when I'm trying to sleep at, say, 1:30am, it feels about as hot as it does outside during the day

Damn, that's one hot room Af. o_O; Hopefuly you can find a solution to that, I wouldn't sleep in such heat either gonk
In other news : MY HAIR IS RED AGAIN! Sweet cherry red, that is. Went one tone lighter than my dye from last year, which was more of a dark copper red.
It's still not fireman red-orange like my drawings usually show my fursona's hair to be, but I'm getting there. Slowly going with lighter and more vibrant colours as the years go by. :B
Happeh, happeh. Red hair is gleeeeee. heart
Also, packing boxes now. Given there's not much to pack I should be done in about half an hour or so, lawl. Moving out tomorrow. :B
EDIT :
Holy s**t ********, Carmack strikes back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvuTtrkVtns
I am now reminded once again as to why I feel my devotion to idolizing ID software as a gaming company is well-placed. Jesus, 20GB of textures, and it's a live render? Damn man, and I was already impressed reading The Making of Doom 3.

Manda_Tifa Oh, congratulations Doomie!! I REALLY hope this one works out for you! *crosses fingers* Is it back in Montreal-ish area?
Actually, I'm moving slightly farther away from Montreal, in the next town over from where my parents live. I'll be living about 5 minutes walk from my old early grade school. 3nodding
No problem with being further away though, since now I have an awesome job here in the area, and I've figured out an easy, relatively low-cost way of getting to Montreal for my clinic appointments. There's a community taxi service that travels from about 15 minutes distance of the apartment to one of the various train stations that connect to Montreal, and it's, like... 3,50$, as long as I call one hour ahead and show up. =3
I guess this is sortof better this way. I'll be living in the countryside for good ol' peace, quiet and amazingly low crime rates, and I'll still be connected to the city (20$ to go and come back, if you include train fares) for services. :3
