"Ok," Kat said, hanging up her apron near the back door. "Come on, my brother is waiting for us out front," she said, grabbing his hand and dragging him with her playfully.

Johnny wrapped his arms around Kat's Waist and rested his chin on her shoulder while they were walking. "So I get to meet your brother now?"

"Yup. Jesse, I know you're there," Kat said to the darkness. Within seconds, Jesse stood before them.

"Good evening, Kat. Johnny, I presume," he said politely.

Johnny stood up straight and looked at Jesse, "Yes, I am. So I heard you didn't think I was really asked Kat to marry me."

"That's true. Thanks, Kat," Jesse said, raising one eyebrow. "Kat has never been one for socializing with most people but me. She has 'work friends' who will cover for her if she needs them to, but that's about it." Jesse allowed a genuine smile to spread across his face.

"Thanks Jesse. He's right though," Kat said, her attention turning from her brother to Johnny. "I'm usually a loner except for a couple people who I've covered for."

"I always am a loner. Kat is really the only person that I have talked to. I don't even really have 'work friends' I usually just come to work."

Jesse smiled. "Well, she sure does seem happy," Jesse said, looking at Kat's smiling face. "Thank you."

Kat grinned. "Thanks Jesse," Kat said. She leaned into Johnny's chest.

Johnny looked at Jesse. "Do you have any objections to this?"

"No," Jesse said, his eyes moving from Kat to Johnny. "I couldn't. She's happy, I can't take that from her."

Kat smiled. "Thank you Jesse."

"Uh....so what are we going to do now?" Johnny looked down at Kat.

Jesse smiled. "I should be off. I met someone, too, you know. I should probably go meet her soon," he said, rushing off the way he came.

"Do you dance?" Kat asked with a flirty smile.

"What kind?" Johnny asked.

"Ballroom. Latin? Any kind really," Kat elaborated.

"Ok so where shall we go?" Johnny said moving toward his car while holding Kat's hand.

"Well, I know this lovely little place downtown. A Latin club. Lovely people," Kat said with a grin.
