^^ And that's why she's so unique. If left to her own methods, she will become a sith, or destroyherself. But if someone helps her, she could be a powerful Jedi....

I like her because she really could go either way.

At that point of time, she doesn't care.

Actually, she'd be hard pressed to become a sith. She sounds far to unstable and insecure to ever be beyond a dark jedi. At best, a sith acolyte, but her inability to entirely reason out her kills seems to contradict a sith's strength.

So.... Does this make sense to anyone:

My char learned to control the force through life-or-death situations, being pushed to the edge of her abilities time and time again, but according to the mod of a forum I wanted to join, because she's only technically a padawan, she couldn't use any of the abilities because 'She hasn't had training in the Force, and thus, doesn't have that much energy'

Most force users require training to hone their skills, yes.

Take the Nightsisters from Dathomir. They're significantly stronger than normal humans, but they pale compared to a decently trained jedi knight. So there's soem strength, but without proper refining, it's unlikely they'll know how to use it.

No matter how self taught your character is, compared to a Jedi who has the benefit of actual training by people who can tell him where he needs to improve and how to do it, you will be lacking.
Your character is an iron rod: crude, blunt, requiring an excess of strength to operate.
a Jedi is a steel sword, light, elegant, effective, requiring an eighth the effort it takes your character to do the same job.
