"Night, I have sworn to help you in any way I can. Emotional wounds are capable of killing just as well as physical ones. Is something the matter?"

vasily downed another drink and orderd another, he looked at mobius his eyes slightly glazed over he spoke slurring his words only slightly. "honestly...no....not in war, we are trained to ignore the suffering of mankind and to repress our emotions in battle. if you saw someone you know get killed and you let your emotions get the better of you, you will end up doing something stupid and very likely get yourself killed while doing it." he paused a moment "and honestly sesnseless violence?, how about security, you think we do this for fun? no...we do it for ourselves for our people to protect our way of life. if we didnt we would be destroyed" he fell silent drinking another and looking around sullenly not sure if he wanted to talk anymore.

Night glanced at Mobius from below her brows. Leaning her head a little, she shook it slowly. "Thank you. I am fine, just tired" She put her glass back onto the table, it was still half full. She smirked a little before she got up. "Try to keep this place in one piece, will you now" Nigt had concluded all conversations and now headed back upstairs.

The cold night air blew across Mobius' skin, entering from the window. The true essence of night was carried with it, rejuvenating him and reminding him that he had other things to do. "Barkeep! I believe this will pay for my drinks and for what I did to your window. As for you guys," he said, looking at our... heroes? "I will be out. I shall return here at dawn. If you are in any danger whilst I am gone, I shall return upon sensing you in the winds." Having the penchant for dramatic exits, the image of Mobius turned to dust, and blew particle by particle out the window. As he flew, Mobius was deep in thought. I was told I would find clues to my past in this realm, but I am getting nowhere. I have made aquaintances, but what must be done next? He sighed, the very noise of it lost in the murmer of the trees and the whisper of the air.

vasily looked around then at the bar. he decided hed had enough for one night, he didnt want a massive headache the next morning so he got down from the stool and started up the stairs to the rooms. he stood there looking for a few moments trying to remember what room night had said. he stared at the doors for a moment before leaning aginst the wall and holding his head trying his hardest to remember.

Mobius sat in a tree 500ft. from the inn. His shroud was pulled to either side of him, revealing a formal outfit, bearing great resemblance to a tuxedo. Black slacks collided with a crimson waistband, and a white long-sleeve dresshirt bordered that. The boots he wore were of an obsidian-coloured metal, refusing to even glint in the light of the night's full moon. His eyes were more cooperative. Those spheres of pure ebon sat below short silvery hair, and twinkled with their own kind of starlight. Mobius slid a hand in his waistband, ad it emerged clenched. He opened it, and a circular pendant of amethyst lay there. He opened it gingerly, as if handling a crystal prone to shattering or a newborn child. On one side of the locket, a picture of a woman sat. Raven hair fell lazily to her sides, and her fair face was a creamy white, a skin paler than most human fleshtones. Her smile was warm and inviting, and the way her eyes closed and curled with it made Mobius feel a great emptyness in his heart. Part of him knew this face, longed for it, needed it. However, this face had no context in his mind, no name or importance to place with it. It haunted him, chilled him to his very core. On the opposing side were engraved these words:
Without the past, one has no future.
That night, like many other nights before, Mobius wept.
(My, my. Angsty today, aren't we?)

(We all are...T,T) Vasily saw a black ribbon wrapped around one of the doors handknubs. It was the door number 15, which he remembered to be Nights room. No sound could be heard from the other side, she must've fallen asleep.

he looked around a moment putting 2 and 2 together and slowly opened the door and slipped inside. careful not to make a sound. he looked around the room and let his eyes adjust to the darkness. he looked over and saw nioght layuing on the bed. he smiled a little when he noticed she had apparently kicked most of the blankets off in her sleep. he stood there looking at her appreciating her beauty before walking over to her and pulling the blankets over her again. after hunting a through a nearby chest for another blanket he settled onto the floor and pulled the blanket over him. he lay awake looking at the celing even though he was tired.

*She got up, soon going to her own room, settling into her bed, and falling asleep. The first one up the next morning, she got washed up, and retrieved some food. She soon sat on the porch of the Inn, looking out at the rising sun*

Night woke up, noticing Vasily on the floor. As she got up from the bed, she nudged him with her foot. "Morning! You sure like that military luxury, don't you?" She got up laughing and walked behind a curtain in the room. Her nightgown flew out soon.

Mobius had returned. The sunlight stung, but he was getting used to it. There were usually plenty of shadows to take shelter in anyway. As he drew closer to the inn, he noticed Velander on the porch. As he neared, he spoke. "So, the demoness is awake! Can I fetch you anything? If Night serves you, that means I serve you as well!" Mobius stood in the shade of the porch, looking at her with a zeal which indicated his readiness to help. The ironwood floor of the porch cast no shadow for him.

vasily woke up and yawned loudly stretching. he closed his mouth quickly accidently biting his tounge. "dammit" he mutterd holding the side of his mouth. he felt a bit strange his throat was dry and he was kind of thirsty but he supposed it was last nights alcohol. he smiled seeing night change and grinned even though he couldnt see her his mind sure could imagine. he got up and quickly got dressed noticing his rifle propped up in the corner fixed and looking like new. he smiled to himself and slung it on his shoulder. he looked back over at where night was waiting for her.

Taking her silence as a 'no', Mobius ventured into the inn, where the barkeep greeted him warmly. "Hahey! Look who's back! You're welcome here anytime!" As the barkeep began cleaning glasses, Mobius looked fondly at the brick of adamant he paid with. He was beginning to think that was a little much to pay in this world, but he felt the guy deserved it. Most humans like him would've fainted upon having an apparition, a demoness, a half-vampire, a water-creature, and two soldiers driven loony by war enter his abode. He began to traverse the stairs to see if Night and Vasily were ready to resume their journey.

Night came out dressed from behind the curtain, she was holding a weird brown sack with a strap going across her shoulder. The sack moved slightly and Vasily knew what was inside it. "He can breathe, I checked twice. I'll let him out when we can't be seen anymore" Night opened the door and headed downstairs for breakfast.

"Hello Night! Is the griffin chick keeping up okay?" he asked in hushed tones. "I am willing to hunt for it when necessary."
