Naomi more or less snuggled into the hugging. It was more than obvious she was listening to what he was saying. Understanding. "I just wish she'd stop being mean. I want to try and make up with her and be at least friends or something to that effect. And really? He dumped me on her and said: 'keep an eye on her, you'll have the same problems as her in the future.' I mean no 'I have work and I don't want you to be lonely' just dumps me on Leila." She brushed her tears from her cheeks. "I want to be a good mate, I want to be everything he needs. Everything he wants. Maybe. . . maybe if I restrict myself enough maybe I can be happy with just bedtime cuddles. . . no. . . I know I can be. Maybe Ezra is right, maybe the reason why Leila and Klaus hate me is cause I'm too emotional. . . Maybe that's why Damien shies away from me too."
PostPosted: Sun Aug 18, 2013 6:07 pm
"If they hated you, Damien wouldn't be your mate and Leila would've taken them both away from you if she hated you," Gabriel corrected Naomi, "And you kind of hit the nail on the head when you say you're too emotional. But you have to see it from their perspective. Leila had three people who only cared about her, then her mother died and Damien left, so that only left me for 100 years. So she never had the time to be emotional and never cared for it. Damien is Demi's son. Now c'mon, you know that demon didn't install 'emotional hardware' in to Damien."

Gabriel laughed slightly at his little joke as he gave Naomi's shoulders a gentle squeeze. To make sure she understood that he was on her side too, Gabriel then added, "I can talk to Leila about her being harsh on you. She's not the nicest of people, and I know she takes a lot of her aggression out on you. As for Damien, i'm sure he'll come around when he realizes what you like."

Naomi nodded. "Thank you Big brother. . . It helps to have someone to talk to. And Father. . . I love father too. I remember him a little. He hugged me once. Not the quick one he'd usually give others that wasn't mum but a long. I didn't realize it then but I think it might have been his way of apologizing." She sighed and leaned more against Gabriel. "I'm scared too. Damien's suddenly feeling paternal and wanting a child with me, part of me is over the moon, but the other part of me. . . I'm scared to tell him I don't think I can have kids. At all. I can't tell any more."

Garreth worked until he bled. He made the cradle, and the bigger cots for when the child grew, by hand from wood. He'd resolved to apologize when Leila came back. . . if she ever did. He knew he screwed up and part of mating was admitting it and apologizing. He wanted to prove her wrong. That he wasn't selfish like she thought all angels were. He wanted to be the best mate she could ever have.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 18, 2013 6:33 pm
"Damien will be understanding," Gabriel responded, "Damien didn't want to have more kids to begin with. So if you tell him now that you don't think you can, he'll just accept it and let you keep Penny as your daughter. And Ariel did say she was going to give you her daughter after she gives birth. It's still Damien's so it'll be like having a kid with him."

It didn't sound all that good when it meant that Ariel, the former mate of Damien, was giving birth to his last child. Gabriel scratched the back of his neck, not knowing if that was going to upset Naomi or not, "Just give all this some time to blow over."

Leila had made her way outside with Damien. With their arms linked together, they walked side by side through the dead gardens of hell. For the first time in such a long time, Leila felt at peace with everything and felt at home here. Most of it was because Damien and Gabriel were with her, the rest was having a mate, carrying a baby, and had others she could actually call family around her.

Damien had turned them to head back towards the castle, but Leila tugged on his arm, "I really don't want to go back right now."

"You'll have to see your mate some time," Damien commented.

"Yeah, but not right now I don't want to," Leila huffed, "He can go spend time with your mate, maybe rub her feet and brush her hair or something stupid like that."

"Now you sound ridiculous," Damien sighed, "But fine, we'll stay out here awhile longer."

Naomi's eyes teared up. "But. . . but I want to have my own baby with Damien." She mewed lip trembling. "Can't you do some angel thing to find out if I'm fertile?"

"Scuse me coming through~!" Penny said dragging a large piece of dead wood past the couple. "Oh hey Leila, Garreth wanted me to ask you in a weird sort of not like he cared way, but what type of crib would you like for your bubba?" Penny asked. "He's making the first one and wanted to know if you wanted some design in put, also what would you like for dinner. . . and are you against something romantic followed by a long and boring apology letter?" She smiled up at the couple. "Oh and another thing, Mr Damien which do you prefer, black or blood red?"
PostPosted: Sun Aug 18, 2013 6:48 pm
"Run along, child," Damien patted the kid's head as he led his sister away from Penny, "Go play with your wood. Pretend that it's a pirate ship and you're the captain."

"The hell was a 'bubba'?" Leila raised a brow as she asked Damien, "Did she mean baby? Garreth wasn't supposed to work on that until the baby was closer to term."

"Maybe a way to apologize?" Damien shrugged, "I wouldn't worry about it too much."

"He's such a jackass," Leila groaned as she rubbed her temples, "Let me see what he's up to before he starts sewing clothes for the baby to last a few years."

Leila left Damien alone and entered the castle. She went to the sectioned room that would be her daughter's room to see Garreth was already finishing it up. Apart of her was angry that he was doing this too early, but she was pleased at his work as well. Leaning against the doorway, she glanced around, "What's all this for? Am I giving birth tomorrow?"

"I'm an Arch Angel, not a genie," Gabriel sighed, giving off a small smirk as he pinched her chin, "The only way you can tell you can have kids is if you have kids. If you can't, then you won't have kids. Simple as that. Just keeping having maritals with Damien and you'll figure out if you can had kids or not."

Garreth turned his adorable face to Leila. "I'm sorry for being a jerk." He said going to her side. "And. . . I wanted to do this now because I figured I'd be too busy taking care of you and I didn't want you mad at me for being unprepared. I don't like it when you're mad. It makes me feel like I've failed and well. . . I don't like failing you." He pulled her into his arms. "I love you Leila and I don't want to fight any more. I just. . . I just don't want your tense relationship with Damien's mate to put stress on you. That's all."

Penny frowned at Damien then shrugged and returned to dragging the wood to Garreth for him to make more stuff from.

Naomi sighed and nodded. "Yeah I figured there wasn't a magic trick to it. More sex. . . right." She hugged Gabriel for long moments. "I'll get right on it. Thank you for listening big brother. Love you." She pressed a kiss to his cheek. She knew when Damien wanted to see her he'd follow her scent so she rushed off to one of Isaac's sister's who let her borrow some frilly sexy underwear then returned to her room putting it on fluffing up her hair and waited for Damien on her bed of furs.

"Oh jeez..." Damien walked into the nursery, purposely bumping into Garreth to knock him out of his sister's reach, "This sure is...frilly and messy."

"It's a girl, what do you expect?" Leila grimaced as she pulled Garreth back by his hand, "I think he did a good job."

"I thought when you said you were having a girl that she would be more like you," Damien turned to look back at Leila and Garreth, "You know, a girl that doesn't like all the frills and messy stuff."

"Well if that's what she likes then that's fine," Leila kissed Garreth's cheek, "I think Garreth is incredibly sweet for going out of his way to make the nursery look all cute and frilly like this."

"I'd hate to see what it would look like if you were having a son. Probably little ducks around the room in sailor suits... Garreth, you really ought to work on your interior design skills because they are poorly lacking," Damien commented as he looked around the room.

"And this is when you go play somewhere else," Leila pushed Damien out of the room and held Garreth, "You can make it up to me, my love. But not in here, we can head to our room and...work out the details."

Damien dusted himself off before heading off to find Ariel. He found Ami using the ultrasound machine to already locating the baby growing inside Ariel. His eyes widened as he walked in, watching the subtle movements their child was already making. Ariel smiled when she noticed Damien looking, "Do you recall when we first saw Isaac on that screen? You almost cried."

He chuckled at the memory as he kept staring at the screen, "Ariel... This baby girl is going to be something powerful."

Ariel nodded as her eyes dimmed somewhat, "Astarte is the keeper of all Damned Souls. She grows within me now to spare my soul from her watchful gaze, but I am giving her to you and Naomi as my parting gift."

Damien looked to Ariel with confusion, then understood. It pained Ariel to be near him when he was no longer hers. She was only around now to carry out the pregnancy then leave after Astarte was born.

Garreth smiled at Damien for a moment then returned his attention to Leila and her suggestion. "I'd like that." He said. "And I'm glad he's stop calling me abomination. Though teasing my skills at design was a bit far. However I'll take what I can get." He swept her off her feet and carried her to their room. "I was thinking of knocking down the wall between our room and our baby's so we can get to her when she needs us faster. What do you think?" He smiled softly.

Naomi fell asleep waiting for him. She didn't register the poking Isaac was giving her for a moment. "Nay! Nay quick waken we have to get out of here! We need to get to dad." He breathed pulling a fur around her and dragging her out of the Library quietly. A group of rogue demons were searching the bottom floor for something. "What's going on?" She mewed. Isaac slipped them out of the side door rushing quickly toward Damien's scent.
"Rogue demons. They want you. Not for that, they want to use you to make father relinquish his title. Oh hey, congrats." He added with a sad smile. Naomi didn't like that look. "Sh*t they've cut off that route. This way!" Naomi nodded but then their path was blocked by three tall men with horns and hooves. Naomi's first instinct was to fight blasting a path for them but then she felt hands grab her and screamed until darkness took over. And the world fell silent. The demons left Isaac on the ground bleeding out.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 18, 2013 7:33 pm
"That'll have to wait, excuse me. In fact, follow me and take care of the mess I'll leave behind," Leila's bi-colored wings unfolded as she flew out of the room.

She could sense the presence threatening her brother. No one lived if they threatened her brother's life! Leila followed the unknown auras until she came across five demons that held an unconscious Naomi. Isaac was bleeding out, poor kid he was always at the wrong place and the wrong time. Leila stood on the ground as she crossed her arms, "Where do you guys think you're going?"

"We're taking back Hell," the fat one hissed, "Damien will be on his knees when he sees we have-"

"Shut up! Don't you know who she is? That's his blood kin, Leila! For both of them, he will have no choice but to give up his title!" another demon grinned over at Leila.

"Don't make me laugh," Leila smirked as a bright white light emitted off her body, sending an explosion through the hallway that killed the demons. A barrier was around her, Garreth, Isaac, and Naomi so none of them were hurt in the process. Leila walked over to Naomi and picked up her unconscious body as she looked to Isaac, "Garreth, carry the boy behind me. I'll patch him up."

Leila placed Naomi in her bedroom, placing her on the furs then healed Isaac's wounds. But the look of Naomi, wearing only a lacy pair of underwear, she was going to try and seduce her brother. She looked to Garreth, "She's naked. Leave."

She covered her up in the furs before brushing the hair off of her face, "Damien would have killed me if I had let those creatures hurt you. I only pray that you find happiness with my brother."

After saying her piece, Leila up and left the room remained outside her room. Just in case there were anymore intruders. She summoned Damien, who seemed oblivious to the whole attack. When Leila explained, he instantly asked, "Were you hurt? Did one of them come near you and-?"

"I'm fine," Leila patted her swollen belly, "This girl is going to be a fighter like me, but you might want to see your son. He tried to help her and got banged up pretty badly, but I patched him up."

Leila left with Garreth as Damien went in to see Isaac first. He cradled his son in his lap as he glanced up at the sleeping Naomi. As glad as he was that she wasn't hurt, he was even more relieved to know that Isaac was safe and, now, unharmed. If it had not been for Leila, he wouldn't have known what he would've done.

Garreth nodded making sure he let his power flow through Leila to protect their baby and her. He left with Leila when it was time to go and once they were alone did his usual worry routine of checking her over and then sitting her down to rub her feet. "That was a close one." He commented. "If they touched you. . . I'd have gone nuts."

Isaac awoke with a smile. "Dad." He breathed. Then he blinked and tried to get up. "Naomi!" He felt pain in his gut and winced. "Is she okay?" He moved to cuddle his father. "We fought them off best we could. Oh gods dad you should have seen her. It was magnificent. She reminded me of that time you went crazy when someone tried to kill off the triplets. But some asswipe cheated this time. Dad. . . I think Naomi. . . you need to check on her. When I found her she was. . . pale."
PostPosted: Mon Aug 19, 2013 6:43 am
"Leila checked on Naomi and deemed her well," Damien calmed his son, "I am more worried about you. This is the second time that you have been attacked and left for dead. I'm glad Leila was able to save you in her state especially with her powers. I better get you to your mother, she will be surprised to hear this one."

Damien escorted Isaac out of the room, but went back inside to put clothes on Naomi. He didn't like seeing her dressed in such a way. Perhaps that's why the demons wanted to take her. Later he'd ask if she could dress more appropriately seeing how she was now carrying his heir.

"If they touched me wouldn't have made much of a difference. I killed them all off nonetheless," Leila was quite impressed with herself, then noticed Gabriel approaching them, "Did you hear it?"

"I came to check up on you," Gabriel smiled, "And also to ask if you would be kinder to Naomi."

"Ah hell not this," Leila rolled her eyes, "Don't tell me you're a traitor too?"

"It's not a secret why you don't care for Naomi. She looks and acts like your other birth mother, and she is Damien's mate. Is that not why you tolerate the other ones more?" Gabriel stood in front of Leila.

She didn't answer as she looked away from her younger brother. Gabriel chuckled, he could see Tamera's stubbornness in his sister, "All that i'm asking is to be kinder to her. You don't need to forgive Ellyone and you don't need to leave Damien alone."

Leila glared back at Gabriel before giving a curt nod. She wasn't happy at all at the agreement, but she didn't want to give birth to a baby girl that would already hate someone she didn't even know.

Rose waited until Damien and Isaac were long gone before emerging from the shadows. She'd entered without a problem since she was now able to hide her scent and her aura, she could even hide her physical appearance. She moved to Naomi's room with ease entering and tucking her baby sister in holding back the need to laugh when she caught sight of the blood red frilly bra. So her little sister wanted to attract her mate. . . Obviously since she was in here and he wasn't, the attempt had failed. "Mmm Rose?" Naomi mewed in her sleep but opened her eyes.

"Ssh little one," Rose whispered low. "Just came to make sure you're all right. Rein's sect recently lunched an attack on Damien against Rein's orders. I just wanted to make sure you're okay since I know they wouldn't-" Rose paused her eyes narrowed. "Naomi, your body is fully healed."

"What do you mean?" Naomi mewed looking distressed.

"You're. . . I can smell it in you." Rose shook her head and pressed a kiss to Naomi's forehead. "There. That will prevent you from feeling most of the affects." Rose took in Naomi's face. The girl had either changed her mind about wanting to be a mother or was scared. Rose hugged Naomi leaving something for Gabriel, that he could only sense, in Naomi's wing for him to read. This pregnancy was going to be a rough ride for her sister and she doubted Damien would let her go so Rose could look after her properly.

Isaac nodded and mentioned casually. "She was wearing that to attract you." When he noticed his father's look. "They took her because they wanted to make a deal with you her for your throne."
PostPosted: Mon Aug 19, 2013 5:21 pm
"I'm not blind, I know what she was trying to do," Damien responded to Isaac, "However, she knew before hand that if she wanted my attention she just had to seek it. Now run along to your mother."

Damien went to seek out his sister, to thank her again for all that she was willing to do though Naomi hated her. He found Gabriel scolding her, Damien wouldn't allow that. Intervening, Damien placed a hand on Leila's shoulder, "Leila doesn't need to change a thing. It's not secret my mate hates Leila, she has always treated Leila terribly. Don't upset my sister. She's carrying my little niece in there."

"You do know your sister hates Naomi, too," Gabriel pointed out.

"I've come to a decision that may help them work on their differences," Damien got Leila's attention, "We're going back to the surface so Naomi can be with Ellyone and the others during her pregnancy."

"That only means that you'll be going, too. And wherever you go-" Leila turned her gaze to a glare.

"You will follow willingly," Damien patted her head.

"If that's the case then, there is one more person I will be bringing to keep the sides equal and even if there's going to be bloodshed," Gabriel added, knowing Leila and Damien would not be expecting to see their mother again.

"Naomi will be pleased...." Leila grumbled as she stood up, "Very well. They can criticize me all they want, but if they say one thing wrong about my daughter I will take my family, and you two, and leave."

"Oh yay~!" Rose cried jumping on Gabriel. "I can't wait mum will be so happy to see Leila again~! Even if all they do is fight she loves it! Oh and uh Gabe. . . when you have a moment Naomi has something you'd like very much. Anyway Damien my friend whatever you hear it wasn't Rein's fault he tried to stop it but the group didn't listen and acted on their own. Oh and he sends you his love. None of you will see Klaus, I'm under the impression Ezra has grounded him for being a psycopath and his now forced to play tea party with his girls and have them dress him up in the most hideously humiliating clothing. I'm sure you'll want pictures. Oh! And Naomi is expecting. . . Twins. I think. Mum would know. Anyway~! I'm off to tell Dad that his son is being humiliated by his grandchildren. Bye~!" Then she was gone. Apparently having children had loosened her up quite a bit.

Isaac sighed and nodded doing what he was told what he saw though was something he couldn't describe. "I have to know." Naomi said sitting before Ariel intently moving her body as if she couldn't get comfortable. "Is bloating part of it? OR am I just the rare case?"
