"If they hated you, Damien wouldn't be your mate and Leila would've taken them both away from you if she hated you," Gabriel corrected Naomi, "And you kind of hit the nail on the head when you say you're too emotional. But you have to see it from their perspective. Leila had three people who only cared about her, then her mother died and Damien left, so that only left me for 100 years. So she never had the time to be emotional and never cared for it. Damien is Demi's son. Now c'mon, you know that demon didn't install 'emotional hardware' in to Damien."
Gabriel laughed slightly at his little joke as he gave Naomi's shoulders a gentle squeeze. To make sure she understood that he was on her side too, Gabriel then added, "I can talk to Leila about her being harsh on you. She's not the nicest of people, and I know she takes a lot of her aggression out on you. As for Damien, i'm sure he'll come around when he realizes what you like."

"Damien will be understanding," Gabriel responded, "Damien didn't want to have more kids to begin with. So if you tell him now that you don't think you can, he'll just accept it and let you keep Penny as your daughter. And Ariel did say she was going to give you her daughter after she gives birth. It's still Damien's so it'll be like having a kid with him."
It didn't sound all that good when it meant that Ariel, the former mate of Damien, was giving birth to his last child. Gabriel scratched the back of his neck, not knowing if that was going to upset Naomi or not, "Just give all this some time to blow over."
Leila had made her way outside with Damien. With their arms linked together, they walked side by side through the dead gardens of hell. For the first time in such a long time, Leila felt at peace with everything and felt at home here. Most of it was because Damien and Gabriel were with her, the rest was having a mate, carrying a baby, and had others she could actually call family around her.
Damien had turned them to head back towards the castle, but Leila tugged on his arm, "I really don't want to go back right now."
"You'll have to see your mate some time," Damien commented.
"Yeah, but not right now I don't want to," Leila huffed, "He can go spend time with your mate, maybe rub her feet and brush her hair or something stupid like that."
"Now you sound ridiculous," Damien sighed, "But fine, we'll stay out here awhile longer."

"Run along, child," Damien patted the kid's head as he led his sister away from Penny, "Go play with your wood. Pretend that it's a pirate ship and you're the captain."
"The hell was a 'bubba'?" Leila raised a brow as she asked Damien, "Did she mean baby? Garreth wasn't supposed to work on that until the baby was closer to term."
"Maybe a way to apologize?" Damien shrugged, "I wouldn't worry about it too much."
"He's such a jackass," Leila groaned as she rubbed her temples, "Let me see what he's up to before he starts sewing clothes for the baby to last a few years."
Leila left Damien alone and entered the castle. She went to the sectioned room that would be her daughter's room to see Garreth was already finishing it up. Apart of her was angry that he was doing this too early, but she was pleased at his work as well. Leaning against the doorway, she glanced around, "What's all this for? Am I giving birth tomorrow?"
"I'm an Arch Angel, not a genie," Gabriel sighed, giving off a small smirk as he pinched her chin, "The only way you can tell you can have kids is if you have kids. If you can't, then you won't have kids. Simple as that. Just keeping having maritals with Damien and you'll figure out if you can had kids or not."

"Oh jeez..." Damien walked into the nursery, purposely bumping into Garreth to knock him out of his sister's reach, "This sure is...frilly and messy."
"It's a girl, what do you expect?" Leila grimaced as she pulled Garreth back by his hand, "I think he did a good job."
"I thought when you said you were having a girl that she would be more like you," Damien turned to look back at Leila and Garreth, "You know, a girl that doesn't like all the frills and messy stuff."
"Well if that's what she likes then that's fine," Leila kissed Garreth's cheek, "I think Garreth is incredibly sweet for going out of his way to make the nursery look all cute and frilly like this."
"I'd hate to see what it would look like if you were having a son. Probably little ducks around the room in sailor suits... Garreth, you really ought to work on your interior design skills because they are poorly lacking," Damien commented as he looked around the room.
"And this is when you go play somewhere else," Leila pushed Damien out of the room and held Garreth, "You can make it up to me, my love. But not in here, we can head to our room and...work out the details."
Damien dusted himself off before heading off to find Ariel. He found Ami using the ultrasound machine to already locating the baby growing inside Ariel. His eyes widened as he walked in, watching the subtle movements their child was already making. Ariel smiled when she noticed Damien looking, "Do you recall when we first saw Isaac on that screen? You almost cried."
He chuckled at the memory as he kept staring at the screen, "Ariel... This baby girl is going to be something powerful."
Ariel nodded as her eyes dimmed somewhat, "Astarte is the keeper of all Damned Souls. She grows within me now to spare my soul from her watchful gaze, but I am giving her to you and Naomi as my parting gift."
Damien looked to Ariel with confusion, then understood. It pained Ariel to be near him when he was no longer hers. She was only around now to carry out the pregnancy then leave after Astarte was born.

"That'll have to wait, excuse me. In fact, follow me and take care of the mess I'll leave behind," Leila's bi-colored wings unfolded as she flew out of the room.
She could sense the presence threatening her brother. No one lived if they threatened her brother's life! Leila followed the unknown auras until she came across five demons that held an unconscious Naomi. Isaac was bleeding out, poor kid he was always at the wrong place and the wrong time. Leila stood on the ground as she crossed her arms, "Where do you guys think you're going?"
"We're taking back Hell," the fat one hissed, "Damien will be on his knees when he sees we have-"
"Shut up! Don't you know who she is? That's his blood kin, Leila! For both of them, he will have no choice but to give up his title!" another demon grinned over at Leila.
"Don't make me laugh," Leila smirked as a bright white light emitted off her body, sending an explosion through the hallway that killed the demons. A barrier was around her, Garreth, Isaac, and Naomi so none of them were hurt in the process. Leila walked over to Naomi and picked up her unconscious body as she looked to Isaac, "Garreth, carry the boy behind me. I'll patch him up."
Leila placed Naomi in her bedroom, placing her on the furs then healed Isaac's wounds. But the look of Naomi, wearing only a lacy pair of underwear, she was going to try and seduce her brother. She looked to Garreth, "She's naked. Leave."
She covered her up in the furs before brushing the hair off of her face, "Damien would have killed me if I had let those creatures hurt you. I only pray that you find happiness with my brother."
After saying her piece, Leila up and left the room remained outside her room. Just in case there were anymore intruders. She summoned Damien, who seemed oblivious to the whole attack. When Leila explained, he instantly asked, "Were you hurt? Did one of them come near you and-?"
"I'm fine," Leila patted her swollen belly, "This girl is going to be a fighter like me, but you might want to see your son. He tried to help her and got banged up pretty badly, but I patched him up."
Leila left with Garreth as Damien went in to see Isaac first. He cradled his son in his lap as he glanced up at the sleeping Naomi. As glad as he was that she wasn't hurt, he was even more relieved to know that Isaac was safe and, now, unharmed. If it had not been for Leila, he wouldn't have known what he would've done.

"Leila checked on Naomi and deemed her well," Damien calmed his son, "I am more worried about you. This is the second time that you have been attacked and left for dead. I'm glad Leila was able to save you in her state especially with her powers. I better get you to your mother, she will be surprised to hear this one."
Damien escorted Isaac out of the room, but went back inside to put clothes on Naomi. He didn't like seeing her dressed in such a way. Perhaps that's why the demons wanted to take her. Later he'd ask if she could dress more appropriately seeing how she was now carrying his heir.
"If they touched me wouldn't have made much of a difference. I killed them all off nonetheless," Leila was quite impressed with herself, then noticed Gabriel approaching them, "Did you hear it?"
"I came to check up on you," Gabriel smiled, "And also to ask if you would be kinder to Naomi."
"Ah hell not this," Leila rolled her eyes, "Don't tell me you're a traitor too?"
"It's not a secret why you don't care for Naomi. She looks and acts like your other birth mother, and she is Damien's mate. Is that not why you tolerate the other ones more?" Gabriel stood in front of Leila.
She didn't answer as she looked away from her younger brother. Gabriel chuckled, he could see Tamera's stubbornness in his sister, "All that i'm asking is to be kinder to her. You don't need to forgive Ellyone and you don't need to leave Damien alone."
Leila glared back at Gabriel before giving a curt nod. She wasn't happy at all at the agreement, but she didn't want to give birth to a baby girl that would already hate someone she didn't even know.

"I'm not blind, I know what she was trying to do," Damien responded to Isaac, "However, she knew before hand that if she wanted my attention she just had to seek it. Now run along to your mother."
Damien went to seek out his sister, to thank her again for all that she was willing to do though Naomi hated her. He found Gabriel scolding her, Damien wouldn't allow that. Intervening, Damien placed a hand on Leila's shoulder, "Leila doesn't need to change a thing. It's not secret my mate hates Leila, she has always treated Leila terribly. Don't upset my sister. She's carrying my little niece in there."
"You do know your sister hates Naomi, too," Gabriel pointed out.
"I've come to a decision that may help them work on their differences," Damien got Leila's attention, "We're going back to the surface so Naomi can be with Ellyone and the others during her pregnancy."
"That only means that you'll be going, too. And wherever you go-" Leila turned her gaze to a glare.
"You will follow willingly," Damien patted her head.
"If that's the case then, there is one more person I will be bringing to keep the sides equal and even if there's going to be bloodshed," Gabriel added, knowing Leila and Damien would not be expecting to see their mother again.
"Naomi will be pleased...." Leila grumbled as she stood up, "Very well. They can criticize me all they want, but if they say one thing wrong about my daughter I will take my family, and you two, and leave."
