I've decided that tomorrow, I'm going to record everything that happens from perspective of my room.

So any yelling (guaranteed) will be picked up. This should turn out interesting. And I'll also learn if I really do snore (my sisters say I do).

EDIT: Things have gone wrong with my job. One of the parts for each laptop is the incorrect part. So we have to send them back to get the proper part. It's a miscommunication on our part, but also the person who we normally deal with is currently in hospital (he's sick but it's unknown why it's happening) so we had to go through another person.... but we couldn't remember the full name of the part and said it slightly wrong. It's not a disaster though, and I can continue the work on the laptops with no real hassle.

Does one's personality have to match that of the personality of the animal of the fursona they are to truely be that fursona..? I dunno, just been told by a few people "you don't seem like a dragon to me, more like a *insert animal here*" and it's just got me thinking... I dunno, just looking for opinions is all, even though mine is really all that matters.

When you're on the internet, people tend to judge you on how you regularly treat and interact with people. I doubt I'm a fox in personality, more like a bear, which I am also more physically close to. But foxes are sleek and elegant and clever, things that I'm really not.

You can be whatever furry you want to be, just know that you'll have to put up with those who say you should feel kinship with the animal in order to be called one.

Most of these I know in person actually, not on the internet, but yeah, guess I gotta expect that.

You shouldn't concern yourself so much about what people think matters or not about you, your personality and your choice in fursona.
The animal choice shouldn't really be based on personality anyways; that'd be like saying that all humans need to be greedy, disgusting things just because they're human, that all foxes will yiff everything that moves, and that every cat in the world is bent on world domination and seeing everyone else as their personal slaves or playthings.
We're all different, that's what makes us unique, even as our fursonas. User Image

Heck, you're hearing this from a tigress that hates water. User Image

But real foxes are actually monogamous. That's a part of the lol of the fandom. It's only furry foxes that feel the need to yiff anything that walks. rofl

So this week officially sucked. First, of course, was the wake and the funeral. I spent the night at my mom's house, so I had an overnight bag and the works. After the funeral though, mom and I had this big stupid fight, and I ended up getting a ride back to my apartment from my grandparents. So my mom still has my backpack with both pairs of work pants, both pairs of work shoes, and my cell-phone charger. The phone is dead, and I'm stuck wearing skirts for today and tomorrow until my dad drops off my bag on his way to work Monday morning....

I'm so depressed and the Starbucks and shopping therapy this morning didn't really help.... sad

I feel kind of sick, but to lighten the mood, here are some safety tips from Anubis.

Leyla, how do I know SapphyDracases? I do know who that person is, I just don't remember how o_o

Rawr, hello stress.
I guess mom decided to go through my open mail and saw my grades. Two D+'s and an A for the classes I retook this summer 'cause I failed them last semester. So, she decided to pop into my room and talk about if everything was okay. I told her no, that other than the Psychology classes I've taken, I'm not interested in or challenged in my classes. I'm essentially relearning things I've already been taught. It's hard to stay awake in class, study, or do the work. Even though I did try much harder this time, only to get D+'s...I still can't figure out why. And I can't take harder classes. I'm also on Academic Probation and currently unaware of whether or not those two D's got me royally ********. If so, I won't be allowed to take classes there and if I don't find another school, will be without insurance. I'll find out Monday.

She asked if I had thought of alternatives like tech school and if I was really sure I wanted to go into psychology. Then mentioned that one of our neighbor's who owns a daycare has so many grants that she only has to pay for a quarter of her school expenses. According to mom, she's the dullest crayon in the box yet is getting an assload of grants for her Bachelors. Why don't I have anything? I have no ******** clue. Did FAFSA once, only to be told "No money for you, only a crappy 2k loan." Guh.

Also, I'm going to kill what little pride I have left and go try to get my first job at the restaurant back. I've been unemployed since April, have had no one interested in my applications, have a dead car, and soon will have college payments. I need a job. So, it's back to working with people I can't stand, having unfair boss, and doing a job that causes me a lot of physical pain. I really don't have much of a choice, I need a job. NOW. <******** pisses me off that my younger, inexperienced brother had a much easier time getting a job than I did. Granted, he got fired for not shaving, but still. I shouldn't need to have a p***s for someone to want to hire me.

Ah updates, it's been a little bit since I've posted, I think.

We have an exchange student here from Slovakia and will be in the US for a year, but with us for 3 months, or more if we can't find another host family for her. Her name is Zuzka (soo-ska), a nickname really. She's very sweet and polite and intelligent. She speaks english moderately well but cannot understand a lot of the words and especially common phrases said here such as, "speak or forever hold your peace". I don't know how many people say that, but my family is big on those sorts of things.

We went to the Delta (river) today and had a barbeque. My friend's mom drove the speedboat and we went bun busting. I almost got dashed into the rocks the first time I was dumped and then the second time, I did about 10 flips in the air before sinking into the water and I have the bruises to prove it.

She hangs out on Furcadia and uses dA. So it could be either of the two?
