Without his father around, he feels like he has to be big, and grown up for his family, especially his mother. (Though she's enough of a b***h she doesn't need it) Even as the middle son, he still feels responsible.
Since he's grown up, he's struck out on his own, now realizing his mother is enough of a mega-b***h to take care of herself. He's looking for a mate and will be fiercely protective of her, never wanting to have a family that grows up without a parent like he did.
Once he was old enough he decided he wanted to strike out on his own, knowing his family was not a particularly kind or caring one. He joined a pack of rogues and eventually found himself in the desert and the lands of the Firekin. Within the pride, he was rather surprised and pleased to find he already had more family there, his grandmother, Moja. It made the transition easier for him to have family and someone to answer any of his questions. The two have since become very close and she even gave him his companion, the avian Chiumbo.
He'd like to further expand his family in the pride, and while he would fling if that's what the female wanted, he would prefer a mate. He is in the process of changing from a hunter to a soldier rank, he thinks it's the best way to fulfill his potential and prove himself in the pride. |

She's much more of a 'doer' than one that sits around idle. That's why the Siti rank isn't the best for her. It's a slight combination of unrest and boredom that drives her to pursue more. She's in a way carrying on with Konokubwa's ways of wariness and being worried about stranger danger, but she wouldn't deny entry to a lion worthy of the pride. She's polite, from her parents' upbringing, and with her fellow Farasi, she'd be a joker, playful off duty, but serious business when the time comes.
Morasha has become a Farasi Tarajali, obviously not a Farasi, because she'd be so new to it. She'd hope to not step on any toes, especially those of her parents as lord and lady by pursuing a more physical trade. She's not one to promptly get rough and tumble with a stranger, instead, she's more fond of diplomacy. The passing of Konokubwana was peaceful, so that wasn't very upsetting to her, however, the opening of the pridal boundaries filled her with unease. It's not that she doesn't trust outsiders. They're vital for the continuance of the pride and to keep from inbreeding, and because Konokubwana never finished the boundaries, she supposes it's not horribly bad that Kibwana changed that, but the plague frightens her from much interaction with those that she may see on the border lands. She respects her Ufalme, and wishes him and his queen the best of luck with producing an heir for the continuance of their pride.
Her old pride was at great risk of inbreeding and shortly after relaxing its rules about newcomers, disbanded. The pridelands offer stability of a home that will never go away, and she loved pridal life over rogue status. |
